Drinks were good

I stayed at the Charter Club next door and decided to try Stilts for lunch. A few things: - music was very loud (I think it was coming from the dj downstairs by the pool) - small area, not many tables - view is amazing (beach front) - I had the burrata salad with chicken (delicious) - hubby had the nachos with shredded pork (meh) - pretzel was yummy and HOT/fresh - blueberry lemonade was good - prickly pear hard lemonade was good

Go for the view, not the food. Average bar food with above average prices. Definitely better places for food on Marco. The view makes it Do yourself a favor and walk across the street too Stonewalls instead. Fresh and great service.

Beautiful views of the Beach during the day and sunset. Service is amazing and most of the servers are very attentive of all my needs. The food for lunch and dinner are delicious with a nice variety of options. Only down side is that if the weather is bad, the atmosphere suffers. On Thursdays there's a live singer which really sets the vibe.

So good we got them on both visits. The coconut shrimp and peel and eat shrimp appetizers were also great. The Bad. The first night we went on a Friday around 5 and it was very busy. We sat at the bar and both female bartenders were attentive and handled the crowd well. By 6 the place was packed. We noticed the presumed owners being very active expediting orders, seating people and managing staff. They were doing a great job. Saturday night 2 male bartenders, one who disappeared and the other playing video games on his phone hidden by the register. We also noticed the owners were not present. A little later the owners were there, the phone was gone and the bartenders came back. After the owners left the service went with them. The phone reappeared and the second bartender stayed in the corner with his buddy. We had to hail one of them down to get our check. Totally disinterested. The Ugly, the bathrooms. My wife reported there was little to empty paper in the stalls. No towels to wipe your hand and trash everywhere. Overall dirty. If you go here expect great food and great service only when it's the female bartenders or the owners are present.

The staff was absolutely incredible. The atmosphere was vibrant yet upscale. We started off with complementary bread with an oil (& something paste - I didn't catch the name) which was excellent. I ordered the Cernia Alla Pescatore ($52): grouper, clams, mussels, shrimp, garlic, white wine sauce, grape tomatoes served over spinach linguine. All entrées come with a house salad or you can do an upgrade to a Caesar. I chose the house salad that comes with balsamic vinaigrette. Very well put together, light and refreshing. The Cernia Alla Pescatore was very flavorful and everything was cook to perfection. For desert, I had the Profiteroles ($17): cream puff filled with vanilla ice cream and topped with hot chocolate fudge. What a great way to end a fantastic meal!!! Overall, yes, this was a splurge (expensive) meal but so well worth it!! Highly recommend for a special occasion!

They do not post their drink menu online and was delighted to see such an extensive list. Our waitress said it changes quite a bit which is why they don't post it. We thought prices were in line with other restaurants on the island. We started with a caesar salad and arancini, both were good and portions were reasonable and what we expected. I had the shrimp and scallop risotto for an entree and the fish was cooked perfectly. Scallops can be tricky, but these were excellent. Risotto was creamy and delicious. Our friends raved about their salmon, also cooked perfectly. Large portion of fish as well. I wish we had time for dessert, but we will be back!!

Staying at the JW Marriot and wanted some pizza. This restaurant had high reviews on Yelp…read more First, the pizza was delicious! Wish we ordered another one as it wasn't enough for us (4 people). As this was a take out order, there was a big issue. The app gave options to add for an order. I ordered a spaghetti marina and thought I "added" garlic and oil. But when we received the order, it was just pasta, garlic and oil. Wtf?! Why the heck would anyone order a spaghetti and only want garlic and oil? The option was NOT clear. I thought it was in ADDITION to. So for $20 I got pasta and garlic and oil. No marinara. It's NOT spaghetti! This was a take out order so the experience might not be the same if you eat at the restaurant. UPDATE: The owner, Sami, called me the next day to apologize for the mixup and offered to replacement. Within 30 min I received a still hot spaghetti the way it's supposed to be. Not only that, he added some dessert. As a business person myself, I understand mistakes happen. But when the issue is rectified, it's a testament to the values of the restaurant. The spaghetti was delicious! Not only the food is delicious, but awesome customer service. I can imagine how good the service would be if we ate at the restaurant. Highly recommend. (Went from 1-star to 5-star - the owner never asked me to change my rating)

The service is absolutely phenomenal. Your water glass never gets below half full--they're constantly refilling it before you even realize you need more. The attention to detail is incredible. They'll replace your silverware as many times as necessary throughout the meal, making sure everything is spotless and ready for the next course. It's the kind of service that makes you feel genuinely taken care of. The food was outstanding. We started with the carpaccio, which was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The ribeye was cooked perfectly and packed with flavor--easily one of the best steaks I've had. And don't overlook the mashed potatoes. They were rich, creamy, and absolutely to die for. Parking is available throughout the shopping center, and they also offer valet service if you prefer the convenience. If you're looking for an exceptional steakhouse or a special dining experience in Marco Island, Marco Prime should be at the top of your list. One piece of advice: make reservations. They fill up quickly, and for good reason. I'll say it again--make reservations! You don't want to miss out on one of the best dining experiences on the island.

Each winter my wife and I escape the frigid north for Marco Island. This was our eighth consecutive…read moreannual visit and an especially meaningful one, with our 55th anniversary this June. Marco Prime has always been our go to Valentine's Day spot for ambiance, great service, and excellent food. This year was very different. For Valentine's, we were given a fixed menu that eliminated longtime favorites, including the 10 oz filet and their New York-style cheesecake. We settled for steak frites at $140 per person. The steaks were gristly and underwhelming, and their usually exquisite beef carpaccio looked and tasted more like a chopped salad in a retirement home. When a manager checked on us and I calmly explained our disappointment, his response was, "But sir, our beef carpaccio is Wagyu," which did nothing to address the real issue. A co owner then came by, was empathetic, and asked, "How can I make this right?" In a lighthearted way I said a slice of their award winning cheesecake would be wonderful. He promised, "I'll make that happen." We pushed aside our half eaten steaks and waited. Ten minutes later, our (excellent!) server informed us there was no cheesecake that night after all. For a bill north of $500 (which included our customary 25% tip) on a special occasion, that combination of poor food, tone deaf management, and unfulfilled promises made the evening a real disappointment. For contrast, the other Marco Walk Plaza restaurants we visited that week--Oyster Society, DaVinci's, Nacho Mama's, and The Salty Dog--were all excellent. Sadly, Marco Prime has lost our business. A celebrity cruise meal at Viking cruise prices. As a postscript, our son lives in Naples, and his dog Murphy ultimately enjoyed our leftover steak frites without complaint. Unfortunately, "Murphy loved it" is not the standard we use when deciding where to enjoy a special Valentine's dinner.
