We went here for dinner on a Saturday night. The reviews were good and it was just a few minutes walk from our hotel. Pizza and beer sounded good, so off we went. The restaurant has inside and outside seating. We sat outside because the weather was nice. Service was friendly and efficient. The reason for 3 stars is the food, which in my opinion was at best mediocre. The kid had pasta and red sauce, which at $12 was overpriced. The pasta was overcooked and the marinara lacked flavor. It came with fries that were crispy and well seasoned. I thought they were good but the wife said she tasted old oil. The wife and I had a house side salad and frankly, it was pathetic. It was not attractive to look at and not well assembled. It looked like someone just threw together some lettuce, a couple of cucumber slices, and some diced tomatoes and called it a salad. The portion was very small. We wanted a wedge salad but were told that they "were out." Whatever that means. We ordered the Caprese pizza, $26, which was overpriced. The crust was not thin but not thick. It completely lacked flavor. Someone forgot the salt when making the dough. The pie was not fully cooked in the middle. The ingredients, which were supposed to resemble a caprese salad, never really came together. The wife did not like it all. I was not as harsh. It was not terrible, but it was not very good. We did not take the leftovers with us. I don't know where the 4 and 5 star reviews come from. Maybe we got them on an off night. Maybe we ordered the wrong food. I don't know. But what I do know is that I would not recommend this restaurant and we will not return. read more

I've been here several times over the past 5 years and felt another review was necessary. The service is always friendly. I always have a hard time deciding what to get as there are so many options to choose from. The food has always been consistently good. My hubby went for the chicken pot pie which comes with a side salad and it was delicious as usual. My friend enjoyed her Tuna Melt with provolone. I really enjoyed my Turkey Bacon Avocado Wrap with ranch dressing. The side of Cole slaw which was recommended was a tad bland but a good sized portion for the extra $1.50. It was pretty crowded on a Saturday around 11:30am. This is always a solid choice when we come to Marco Island! read more

Wifey and I needed some nourishment to start our day and Stonewalls was close so it fit the bill. Ordering is a little 'different' as it's a counter order and then they bring the food to your table. Wifey ordered the Prosciutto Benedict and I got the Grits special with two eggs, bacon and a side biscuit. Wifey's quote "there's somebody back in that kitchen that knows how to poach an egg!" "The prosciutto was crispy, the hollandaise sauce was perfect. Five stars!" My breakfast, seemingly a boring order, was great. I turned the eggs and bacon into a small sandwich with the lightly toasted biscuit and the grits were perfect (just added some butter, salt and pepper). The restaurant is nice and spacious and the staff were all very friendly. Since you order at the counter the service is very quick and efficient. The avocado toast was very straight forward, nothing very special, not something I would have again. The egg and cheese croissant was good, the egg comes well done but it goes altogether. The eggs Benedict were not my favorite, the sauce didn't taste like a familiar holandeses sauce but was rather acid and bland. The coffees, on the other hand, were pretty good. They are counter service with table delivery. I took my son out for breakfast. My son is a scramble eggs and potatoes kid. He said he likes it. I got a breakfast sandwich and boy did it taste great! You order at the counter, where they also make specialty coffee drinks! A server will bring your food to the table. They have an indoor seating area, as well as an outdoor patio. This is our go to breakfast spot in Marco. Food is always spot on. They have a large breakfast menu and they have classic favorites and many unique and delicious offerings. The restaurant requires you to order your food at the desk and they will give you a number. A server will come out with your food and deliver it. This is our "go to" place when we are in Marco Island. It is consistently good. The Grouper Francaise is delicious. I ask for it over pasta rather than a potato. Breakfast is very good too. Decided one morning while on vacation to go out for breakfast. Stonewalls was our choice based on delicious looking reviews on yelp. The restaurant is extremely clean, and when you walk in the menu is posted on the wall. You then go to the counter and place your order, and they give you a number to put on your table. They will bring your food out when it is ready, but you get your own cold drinks. I wish I had known that before I ordered, as they offer several juice options - orange juice, apple juice, and cranberry juice. I like mixing cranberry juice with apple juice, and had I known I would be dispensing the juice myself. I would've ordered juice and gotten a mix like I normally do. The French toast with sausage looked delicious, and my plate of scrambled eggs, bacon and potatoes was full! The bacon is very crisp and delicious, the potatoes are in chunks and well seasoned, and it seemed like a ton of eggs! The toast comes out unbuttered, which I didn't realize right away. So by the time I realized it, the toast had cooled off so the butter didn't really melt in, but in the scheme of things that wasn't a huge problem. Overall, the staff was very friendly, and we enjoyed our breakfast, and would definitely return! read more

We stopped for dinner and found this small restaurant very simple and minimalistic.  We had the Penne Ala Vodka which came with a salad. You order from the counter though I did see another couple order from their table and you are served your meal.  The service is fast and friendly.  No table cloths and the flatware is very inexpensive.  This is not fancy dining. Our meal was $40.00 not including tax and tip. There are plenty of pictures submitted by other reviewers,  so if you are looking for a simple meal in a simple environment with great service then I can recommend this restaurant and we would visit again. read more

I did order the cheesey garlic bread and the Greek salad, and both were SO goood!! The portions were very big, and the prices were really good. Had breakfast there this morning. FRIENDLY does not come close to the atmosphere. The staff were upbeat, happy, and lively. They converse with their guests and offer tips on making your trip even better. In return I tipped them off to an awesome, hidden spot for viewing wildlife in the Everglades not far from where they are. I was staying locally at a resort and came to the restaurant three times LOL First for breakfast - My sister and I got the Mexican skillet and REALLY enjoyed it. They allowed us to customize it I got it with the Turkey chicken and my sister got it with bacon. We also got mimosas which was great Second we got the chicken Fraser wrap to go! They packaged it well and it was ready quickly! Fries were iffy but I think it was to go so not worth lowering the rating Third we went for lunch! I got the Greek salad with blackened chicken super yummy! My sister got the jerk chicken pasta! Amazing! Also the waffle was great I enjoyed eating out on the patio!
