I've not read the reviews on Pinchers in Marco Island before and quite frankly I'm shocked. I admire the manager in that there is always a polite response regardless of the review, but what do people expect? A popular restaurant will be noisy when it is busy. Pick a less busy restaurant if you want quiet. If you want quick service go to a fast food. Places like Marco Island, the Keys, the Caribbean and Hawaii operate on Island Time. People come there to chill out folks! Now that I have that off my chest. I've been here twice and ordered the Salmon grilled without any spices and it was perfect both times. I was there because it was a visitor's favorite place to eat because of the crab dip appetizer. We were in no rush. We came ahead of the noon rush restaurants and it was peaceful and relaxing. We came there to visit. The server was very attentive you our needs and came back numerous times to see if we were ready order. We ordered the crab dip as an appetizer first. We're in our eighties and all have health issues to consider when eating out. I normally prepare all my meals whole food plant based. I am highly reactive to salt. Hard to find places that serve food that won't send me to the emergency room. Great to have places like this that provide meals special ordered to meet our needs. When I am there the next time I will take photos and update this review. These folks deserve far more recognition than they are getting. read more

The place had that laid-back, beachy energy that made you feel like you were on vacation even if you weren't. The seafood was fresh and flavorful--nothing too fancy, just done right. I had the Gulf Grouper with fries, green beans, and the Chicken & Andouille Gumbo. The flavors were decent and the price was okay. The service was upbeat and easygoing, and even though it was busy, everything came out quicker than I thought it would. You walk in and you can relax grab a drink at the bar and order some food this is what pinchers is to me when I walk in there. I go to the bar in time for happy hour order my 2 for 1 drinks and get the happy hour oysters, shrimp, and wings. Feels like paradise with this combo and the fishing theme inside to help me feel the island vibes and the look through bar to the outside seating. We stopped in at Pinchers again while visiting Marco recently. It was just Wifey and I on vacation this time and we wanted a non-fancy meal for our first night out. Our waitress was over in a flash and got our drink orders (Strawberry-Basil margarita and a Premium Margarita). The drinks were great...even a little strong. For our entrees I ordered the crab cake sandwich and Wifey had the Fried grouper sandwich. Both sandwiches were filling and really tasty. The fries were a little underdone, but still tasted good. I also ordered a cup of the corn and crab chowder and it was FANTASTIC! This place can get a little loud and it's almost always packed, but the food and service have been great. Dear Mother, I'm writing to tell you that I am in love. With this restaurant Pincher's! The atmosphere was totally fun! A big shark was trolling overhead. There was live music (not too loud) and fun servers! The children had free kids meals which they loved. We had some local Black Grouper, blackened as tacos and dinner. The children tried everything and loved it. Boom boom shrimp was spectac. Blackened Mahi sandwich and Corn Crab Chowder !!!!! So good!! Def get the hush puppies they are FIRE! If you love seafood and you're in Marco Island, you absolutely should go to Pinchers!!! Everything was excellent -- the food, service, specials and live music all fantastic!! I had the Alaskan Snow Crab meal which was delicious and very filling! Crab was fresh and not overcooked! Everyone else had Grouper and all said it was fresh, flaky and perfectly seasoned. There was no wait on a random Sunday and we decided to give this place a try. There was a live singer which was a fun add on. The food was excellent and tasted fresh. It took a bit of time for the food to come out but it was worth the wait. The drinks were strong and they were running a buy one get one, which is unheard of and ended up being $10 for the two. The oysters and mussels were fresh. The crab cake was alright, but the snow crab legs were delish! The food is pricier given its seafood, but I was happy with everything there! read more

We went here because you could check in online. The wait time was close to what we were quoted online. Our server was incredibly nice. He offered for the kid's food to come out before mine and my husband's. Well, the kid's food came out after, and it was essentially after we finished eating. Horrible timing. My husband and I both had the fish tacos. They were not good. You get 2 tacos with small chunks of fish, lettuce and fancy shredded cheddar cheese. It had some sauce that was not good either. Neither one of us finished our meal. Kids eat free with an adult meal. Kids meals are $8 each and they include a soft drink (the healthier alternatives like milk, lemonade, etc. are extra). The kids loved coloring on the paper they put on the tables. That helped pass the time of them waiting for their food. Would I go back? Only if it was our only option. read more

We really enjoyed pinchers on our recent vacation to marco island! This place is NOT FANCY, but it is a little expensive! I mean its seafood, so I don't want it to be cheap. I do think the ambiance and presentation at Snook Inn is more worth it at the same exact price point. But our seafood was honestly really really yummy and tasted fresh, we had good service, and they do have good drink specials and a nice happy hour for the peel and eat shrimp. The cold peel and eat shrimp were our favorite thing we got! The blue crab claws were also very good and we enjoyed the crab and corn chowder. My wife and I are regulars at Pinchers on Marco since they opened 8 years ago going 2-3 times a week ( neither of us likes to cook :) ). I have often said pinchers is " the best value for the money" on Marco. It has a very comfortable yet vibrant atmosphere, great management ( Nick and Joey are awesome) terrific , attentive, and enjoyable servers, a broad fresh and delicious menu( ie their fish is caught by their own fishing fleet daily) , 2 for 1 drinks, kids eat free etc,,,,,just to name a few features. Most importantly, it has among the best prices on Marco making for an overall great value for the money... Today we were honored to be the 1st to be served their new steak entree ( raised on the pinchers private cattle ranch in central Florida)..... it was extremely tasty and tender and rivals the highest priced steak on the island.... We went for the Snow Crab Legs Dinner, and our server, Stephanie, provided amazing service. The food was outstanding as well. Pinchers offers both indoor and outdoor dining options. However, there can be a wait, especially during the peak season. Parking can also be limited, so a bit of patience may be required. read more

Food was great but we waited 45+ minutes for our appetizer (crab dip). They also messed up our order, forgot sides, didn't check on refills and dumped a drink without offering to get a new one.
