Staying at the JW Marriot and wanted some pizza. This restaurant had high reviews on Yelp. First, the pizza was delicious! Wish we ordered another one as it wasn't enough for us (4 people). As this was a take out order, there was a big issue. The app gave options to add for an order. I ordered a spaghetti marina and thought I "added" garlic and oil. But when we received the order, it was just pasta, garlic and oil. Wtf?! Why the heck would anyone order a spaghetti and only want garlic and oil? The option was NOT clear. I thought it was in ADDITION to. So for $20 I got pasta and garlic and oil. No marinara. It's NOT spaghetti! This was a take out order so the experience might not be the same if you eat at the restaurant. UPDATE: The owner, Sami, called me the next day to apologize for the mixup and offered to replacement. Within 30 min I received a still hot spaghetti the way it's supposed to be. Not only that, he added some dessert. As a business person myself, I understand mistakes happen. But when the issue is rectified, it's a testament to the values of the restaurant. The spaghetti was delicious! Not only the food is delicious, but awesome customer service. 1st time at Sami's. No one was there at lunch on a Thursday so we were a little concerned. We didn't need to be. There were 5 of us. Waiter was nice. The blacken grouper sandwich was great. I upgraded to sweet potato fries. They were good. The burger was great. Mom liked her poke tuna bowl. We also had the stromboli which was the least favorite. The flavor was good but loaded with more cheese than meat. It's huge! It will easily feed 3. We will be back. read more

Checked out the menu for Sami's prior to going. The menu was pretty extensive but when I came across an option for Chicago Deep Dish pizza, I had to try it. We arrived around pm so the restaurant was not busy. Hubby and I had our choice of seating. They have a full bar, separate pizza oven from the other kitchen, indoor and outdoor seating. The vibe is a little weird though. It's an Italian restaurant who plays sort of like cruise ship dinner music combined with sports on several tv's. There were several people working but one guy was the host, the bar tender, waiter and runner. He was pretty efficient but I'm not gonna lie, I watched him wipe his face several times without washing his hands. That sort of did it for me. Jinny's sandwich came out way before mine which wasn't a big deal as I know it typically takes awhile for a heavy pizza to bake. Not sure when I will learn, do not order deep dish pizza from a place that doesn't specialize in it. Just because you line a pan with crust does not mean it's deep dish. The sauce was ok but I would not order it again. It really was just a regular pizza with tall sides. Very underwhelming. read more

The restaurant was clean and nice. I visited for lunch the day before Thanksgiving. I ordered the grilled chicken pita. The chicken strips were big and well prepared the pita wrap was a bit disappointing. This sandwich was to include taziki sauce which is made with yogurt so it can be drizzled on the sandwich. My taziki was made with something that I think was possibly sour cream or maybe even cream cheese. It was thick & really needed a knife to spread. Not to mention the flavor being wrong. While the pita was soft it was cold. A warm pita with warm chicken strips would have been nice. All that said, I would try Sami's again but possibly order a pizza. read more

We visited during a holiday weekend and the service at Sami's was incredible. You'd think that service would be slow, but that was not the case. Our large party was very happy. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. The live music was great, we even had a Sweet Caroline sing-a-long. Good food, service and ambiance at a reasonable price. Went here initially with my family for dinner. We liked it so much we brought out extended family for dinner the next day. I had the lamb chops two days in a row, kids had various pasta dishes and wife had some type of seafood pasta she liked. Totally recommend this place. Not cheap but definitely not pricey compared to the resorts down the street. The staff and management is also very friendly and just nice. 5 read more

Best pizza I've had in a while!! We ordered Sami's Pizza with choice of toppings (basil, garlic, extra cheese, olives). It looked like a cartoon pizza the way the cheese stretched out. Their service was also immaculate. Someone greets every guest as they open the door for you. The lights are dimmed, and they're quick with getting the food out and ready. I would totally recommend this restaurant. The only thing that might be presumed as negative is the pricing. Some of the menu items are higher in price than most other pizzerias I've been to. We were blown away after eating multiple meals here because everything tasted perfect and we could not come up with a single sentence how or where they could further improve themselves. Pizza was as good as a pie made in Howard Beach NY or at a Lower Manhattan pizzeria that's been in business for over 50 years. Wings were done just right , crunchy on the outside , soft and juicy inside , steak fries were amazing, calamari was probably the best I ever had. That marinara sauce was perfection. Lamb chops were seasoned just right and cooked to perfection. Even the balsamic vinegar on the salad was super premium quality. I can tell the owner takes pride in what he serves and it's reflected in literally every item on the menu. We were visiting Marco Island for 3 days and ate here for dinner 2 of the nights! They had live music, great atmosphere, wonderful service... and to top it off, delicious food. Our first visit we had the coconut shrimp (9/10), GF pasta bolognese (9/10), and a GF pizza (8/10). Our second visit we ordered the crab Rangoon (7/10), shrimp Alfredo (10/10), and another GF pizza which was delicious too. We recommend coming here to eat if you are like us and love to eat great food at a reasonable price. The place was very accommodating to our baby as well- with clean high chairs etc. The drinks were great and they have a great selection of gluten free food which is nice. Ricardo was our server the first night- he was great- always approached our table with a huge smile and had a great energy. The second night we had Jairo and he was wonderful. We actually arrived as the restaurant was closing and he took our table and served us like we were kings and queens even though his shift had ended. read more

WE LOVE SAMI'S! Hidden gem for breakfast when you have a line way out the door at the tourist Doreen's 2 doors down! Come walk down and enjoy a breakfast that is better AND cheaper than Doreen's. Their food is just simply amazing & they have such good options! Exceptional experience at Sami's! Everyone's always so friendly and nice at Sami's. From the hostess to our server to the person who delivered our food. Huge outdoor covered patio, big open covered bar and lots of indoor seats too. Love the food here was well. This day we came for breakfast.
