The food here was seriously great. I had the Philly cheesesteak pizza which I dipped in mayo and was so good. My boyfriend had the Maker's Mark sliders and those were also great. Not a thing was left on our plates in the end. The service was awesome, very attentive without being an interruption! And very nice with helping recommend dishes. The atmosphere was also enjoyable. Last night we decided to try this place out our 1st night in town big mistake !!! First of all the cashier didn't know if their grill was open and like every other place we've been to in town said idk I'm not from here really ?!?! Anyways moving on we ordered bacon wrapped chicken, wings, chicken tenders, tacos... The fries on the tender basket where burn crisp literally, The bacon wrapped chicken where the size of quarter and only got 5 for $9.99 RIDICULOUS who can get full on that ! Moving on the wings where literally 4 Full sized actual chicken wings the only thing that was good here where the drinks I would never recommend anyone to come spend their $$$ here it's not worth it at all !!! read more

Food was alright, nothing spectacular. We came on a Saturday night and they were soooo understaffed. The service was absolutely horrible. They actually kicked some man out because he was yelling and cussing about how bad the service was. I was secretly cheering for him. We sat at our table for probably 20 minutes after ordering water and drinks and finally we went and got our own water (we could see it from our table). When our waitress finally brought our water and drinks she didn't even acknowledge that we had drinks that we had to go get ourselves. We also asked them to put on the Georgia game and they said they would, but they never did. The service was just so bad that I will never come back. read more

Great service! Loved the outside patio because it's dog friendly and I had my dog with me. They even have dog bowls outside filled with water which was awesome! I had the BLT and it was wonderful! My boyfriend had the blackened black drum dish sandwich and was super pumped. He said it was the best he's had! The onion rings were huge but so good with the avocado ranch. Great place! read more

Great pizza! Good drinks! Great batter on their onion rings and calamari. Definitely recommend you stop in while in Port Aransas.

The service was less than stellar, but was the best thing of the visit. The restaurant was very crowded, as could be expected for a Friday night but large tables on the patio were seated with two people and we were offered a table in the parking lot. Appetizers of fried mushrooms and pickles were a little bit over cooked but edible. The boiled shrimp was also a bit over done. As the shrimp was brought to the table, the server dropped the basket on the table, spilling the shrimp onto the table, he picked them up with his bare hands and put them back in to the basket and left them for us to eat. After waiting for over an hour, half of the food came. Fries were cold and portions were small. As these entrees were finished almost all of the remaining entrees arrived. After everybody had finished my order of pork belly tacos arrived (special of the day) 2 hours later. It was totally inedible. read more

Well we started our first time down to Mustang Island with a fabulous dinner. We both had the fresh catch which was Drum. We both had it grilled with grilled asparagus. Everything came hot and not overly seasoned just right. We did start with the buffalo oysters they were fine nothing unique but would order again. We just came from there. Watched the UW Badgers beat North Carolina. WHEW!!! Plenty of tv's to watch both games on that were going tonight. My husband had a great fish sandwich, the firies were fantastic, and my wings were good too (I would like them better if split into two pieces though). My hubby was so glad to find a place that finally had IPA's and other beers of that sort - and on tap to boot. I also was pretty happy about tap beer. Friendly and very efficient waiter. Great atmosphere with a surprisingly diverse menu! I can in expecting a bar, and it is just as much of a restaurant as a bar. They put the Rangers game on 80% of the TVs when we asked, which was great!They were very busy, but our waiter was very careful to keep coming by and letting us know we weren't forgotten. Really disappointed in this place. Based on previous reviews, I was expecting to have a great time since I am not from around here. The food was okay. There were only 2 waiters on staff (not their fault) & the place was busy. Took 30 minutes to take our order & another 45 minutes to get our food out. Went to Stingrays and was totally disappointment. Honestly, it's a management disaster. We sat there for 10 minutes before a waitress came over. We should of left at that point. The rest goes down hill. Ordered drinks, they were fine. After ordering our food the shrimp we ordered was placed under the salamander or 40 minutes. Then, one of our sandwiches was placed under it 10 minutes into it. So two of our meals were totally not fresh. Then, the waitress came over and said the first pizza was burnt so he'd make another it would take 20 more minutes. We had already sat there for an hour. Food was terrible. Avoid at all costs. While the atmosphere is nice and may typically be a good place to eat, our Saturday night consisted of waiting 15-20 minutes for our first drink and an hour and a half for our food. Went here with my boyfriend and had an AMAZING experience! Very chill and casual atmosphere without lacking in quality of service, not to mention the food was superb in both quality and quantity. Food was ok but the service was horrific. They promote their business as a sports bar and I suppose if you just want to go and sit at the bar and drink and watch TV, you will love this place but not a good option for eating with a family as they take forever for mediocre food. Plenty of other great options for food in Port A. I advise, avoid this place unless nothing else is open in Port A, but even then I would take the ferry to Aransas Pass or drive to Corpus. read more

It's really hard to rate this place. Okay so the food was good. That being said we came to this place for the pizza, after finally getting seated, which I understand was an issue because we had a party of 11. We had 2 separate table, we waited over 20 minutes to get our drinks. They brought out our other tables within minutes, we ordered appetizers, and was told that we couldn't order pizza because it was an 1 and 1/2 hour wait. We ordered the Brussel spouts and 1 pound of ez peeled shrimp. The Brussel sprouts were good but there's no way that was a pound of shrimp. Several of our party ordered the Cabo tacos and they were great. I can't even tell you the name of our waitress because she never told us her name. Given that we had already ordered drinks and appetizers we felt like were already obligated to order dinner. Even though we had picked this place for the pizza and the ratings. Excellent place to hang out, watch a good game, and eat great food. My wife and I were first timers to Port Aransas and had nothing but an exceptional experience at this place. The homemade chips and salsa was AWESOME. The Makers Mark burger was to die for also. Highly recommend this place for a nice social evening. read more

The food was really great and there are several drink specials to choose from. We had the chicken strips, pepperoni pizza, and ribs and beer and wine. This is a tough call. We love the food however the service is not good. We sat at out table for 20 minutes and no one came to our table. We had to get the hostess to take our order. Then our waiter finally came but service was not good. Our good was greasy like I noted but service put a damper on our evening as we waited so long to be served and we waited a long time to close our tab. NO AC AND NO EXHAUST FANS WORKING IN 100 degrees weather! Got here for lunch, we got inside and immediately noticed that neither the AC and the exhaust fans were working properly. Place was filled with smoke coming out of the kitchen's grill and pizza oven and it was darn hot, can't understand why they didn't open the curtains/window/doors! It was hot outside but at least there was a breeze and the smoked might have dissipated. I can't really review any od the food, it was just too uncomfortable to enjoy anything! Visiting Port A for weekend getaway. Stopped at Stingrays for dinner on a Saturday night. Sat at bar to watch game on big screen TVs. Great service from Gina! Pizza was delicious, wings were great (little messy but good wings are usually messy) and delicious dessert called S'mores Brownie Skillet (recommended by Gina) yes make sure you have this delicious dessert.
