Triple Tuna sushi roll with Spicy Scallop Maki behind
    Nancy H.

OK. I expected very little from the place. It's been around forever and I've passed by a million times with no interest in stopping. I remember coming as a kid with the family, but didn't remember anything about the food. Atmosphere isn't anything special and they are way understaffed, but the food. It's killer. We started with some sushi that was delicious. We got the Triple Tuna Roll and the Spicy Scalop. Both prepared wonderfully. For entrees, we got two of their specials; the ribeye and the short ribs. Both were FANTASTIC. Literally one of the best prepared steaks I've ever had. And the short ribs were soooo soft and flavorful. The salad that the short ribs were served over was also insanely good. They definitely don't skimp here. I also want to mention our server. A young, blonde kid who seemed to be doing just about every job in the restaurant. Within the two hours we were there, he was our server, the busser, foodrunner, answering all the phone calls, and also helping prepare sushi. It was impressive that he still had such a good attitude and provided stellar service. It was awesome, but they also need more help.

I was craving sushi so we ordered from stir crazy because it was the closest location to us. We ordered 2 spicy salmon, 2 tekka (tuna) and 1 yellowtail and jalapeño roll. All were yummy and the fish was fresh. I was disappointed in the size because they were very small. In Boston (where we usually live) we can get Maki rolls filled with fresh fish for a fraction of the price. Normally 5 rolls would have filled us up. This was more of a snack and we had to eat again afterwards. Overall, the food was good, but not worth the price ($36).

The restaurant followed safety precautions during covid. Our waitress wore a mask and was good company. The Cambodian dishes such as the red curry were delicious. I loved how the red curry had a kick to it while the pineapple made it just sweet enough. I would go back again!

Oldie but goodie. My wife and I went here on a rainy Sunday afternoon. We forgot how much we really enjoyed the food. We had the vegetarian rolls, green curry tofu and chicken bar bong. We won't wait this long between visits again!

Absolutely incredible! I haven't a meal like this is so long First, our waitress was incredible, great service Egg roll appetizer was tasty Tried two specials: mixed grill and seafood curry. Flavors I never knew even existed. The steak on the mixed grill was so tender. The mai tai tinis were delicious as was the chocolate cake for dessert. With covid precautions, I felt safe, sanitizer everywhere, everyone masked. Will be back!!!

I have come here in the past and I didn't even realize it this time around when staying in Falmouth! But the wooden interior and Cambodian decor brought back some memories... Situated off MacArthur Blvd, it could be easy to miss if you're speeding down but it sits on a large property with plenty of parking. Inside, there's a dining area to the right with the sushi bar, and to the left, the bar and another dining area which looks completely different. Upon entering, there was a sign that said "please wait for the host to be seated" but there was no one in sight. I had to make myself visible by stepping into the bar yet I was still being ignored by the busboy until the bartender noticed me and sat me in the other dining room with other guests. The tables and chairs are weird, they are totally meant for outdoor and the rest of the interior is nothing fancy besides the literal garden over by the bathrooms. The server was excellent, she was very casual yet professional and really took her time explaining some questions on the menu. I remember having the Khemara special last time with the strawberry, stir fried shrimp and scallop, in a bed of spring mix over rice and a peanut sauce dressing. It was unique because of the presentation and I do remember enjoying it but this time around, I went for the Beef Loc Lac $18.95 and a Triple Tuna Maki $19.95 with the Finger Rolls appetizer $7.50 and finished with Fried Ice Cream $5.95. I'll start by saying that the prices are extremely premium, because your normal Southeast Asian restaurant in the city is easier on the wallet. However, the beef Loc Lac was delicious and very tender in the perfectly seasoned sauce. It reminds me of the Peruvian Lomo Saltado stir fry dish. Finger rolls were quite good too and packed with pork. Fried ice cream could have been a little more crunchier but still a delight though I originally wanted Mango Sticky Rice which they ran out of. The biggest disappointment was the Triple Tuna Roll. While still good, I regret that I didn't get the Firecracker which looks jampacked with avocado and toppings from all the pictures. Overall pretty good food, good service, but high prices for what I'm used to paying for Asian food but I get it, this is the Cape.

Great food but a little expensive. Sushi wasn't bad. Had the Boston roll. Forgot to take a picture of the Bar Bong put it's pretty filling.

The food is amazing but simple, flavors that just work very well together. The stir fry had us licking our plates clean.

They do have a menu - takeout or dine in (few tables but the space is small) and they also have cafeteria style prepared foods that you can peruse. Located on Reservoir near the Cranston line, there is a small parking lot next to the storefront and some street parking as well. I called in an order for Chicken Mee Ka Tang (Cantonese Noodles), Beef Pho, Cold Cut banh mi, Lort (Cambodian eggrolls) and a Vietnamese coffee for the mister. When we got there I was enticed by the offerings and got a small container of the braised pork and eggs and stuffed bitter melon (don't knock it people, it is an acquired taste, lol). We really enjoyed everything we had but our faves were the banh mi (great flavor and didn't skimp on the meats at all!) and the Mee Ka Tang - it did have a bit more gravy than I'm used to but really great flavors - add a little bit of chili oil or sriracha and chefs kiss! The pork and eggs were a tad bit too sweet and pork was tougher than I'd like other than that, everything was delicious. Service was super quick and food was ready as promised. We didn't have to wait for it at all which I can appreciate! Looking forward to returning to this mom and pop shop!! Can't wait to come back!

I ordered the regular size and it was plenty big enough. The call it stew, but it is just like any other Ramen bowl with a better broth. Ginger Chicken Wings - These are fantastic...they were chopped wings, so cut up pieces of wings and fried. They tasted like sticky wings, but then hit with the fresh ginger strips, onions, and jalapeño. When we went in is was an 80 degree day and the A/C was not working. They gave us a kettle of hot tea and I ordered a bowl...lol...I was obviously sweating. Although it was very hot, the experience was great. I would definitely go back, maybe in the winter next time.

Although the serving staff might be so busy as I only see her alone. Came for the dine out dinner menu so I got an app, entree and dessert. The keing D' ananas (cubed porked in a shrimp and fish broth like curry with pineapple) and beef bourguigon was amazing and hands down one of the best in Boston I have tried so far. The entree for mussels and fried pork spring rolls are great but nothing out of the ordinary. Finally, the desserts we got the chocolate truffle cake and that was rich but very delicious. But I personally like a lighter taste so the poached pear with raspberry sorbet was a nice touch to the end! The Thai ice tea was interesting with some tastes of spices so it's not your usual Thai tea. Will look forward to coming back!

The reviews looked good and I was excited to try their unique menu... well, let's just say we were very disappointed. First of all the prices are very expensive. I know this is Boston, but $17 for a cocktail is ridiculous! Our server was lovely, he was very kind and had a kind spirit. I was excited to try the "Rouleaux" since they remind me of the eggrolls, my mother learned from her Vietnamese mother-in-law. It was very crispy, which unfortunately is the only good thing I can say about it. The flavor was so off. It's almost as if the ingredients in the Rouleaux were loudly competing for my attention simultaneously! It didn't really melt in your mouth either, it just felt heavy. The other appetizer we ordered was called Dumplings croustillants au poet epics. This was actually worse than first appetizer. I like lemongrass, but MAN the lemongrass was so overpowering. I started to wonder... "is this how it's always made"?! I'm not even exaggerating. Overall, the atmosphere was nice - definitely pricey, and the food isn't worth the hype. Till next eats, SJ
