Awesome, awesome, awesome! I absolutely loved this place. The service was exceptional! My server knew the menu inside and out, managed her tables very well, and did everything with a smile. I had a hard time deciding between two dishes. She recommended the Beef Lock Lack. It was incredibly yummy. Great flavors. Would be five stars if fresh local fish and lobsters were used. Instead, they have great shrimp, scallops, beef and pork. Excellent fresh rolls and egg rolls. I swung by this wonderful restaurant after flying over the Bourne Bridge onto Cape Cod! Initially just for a quick stop I was so happily greeted as I entered, I decided to stay for a meal and a beer at the bar. They were very busy and everyone seemed to enjoying the delicious plates that kept emerging from the kitchen. A local gentleman recommended the Bar Bong so I followed his recommendation and had it with chicken. The angel hair pasta was heavenly and light and homemade hot sauce "added to taste" was just right. Such a delightful place and the lovely waitress/mixamatologist "Chana" made the whole experience one of friendly hospitality. Next time I will try some sushi as well as they have a very lovely sushi bar in another room and folks were delighting in that as well as watching the expert sushi chef prepare their orders! Lots of food on your plate. I usually can separate it into 2-3 meals. Service is fast, and we love the choices. The owner is Cambodian. She had a small place years ago, where she'd come out and talk to you after she cooked your meal. Now, the place is bigger, and it's still great. read more

Pad Thai was bland and over cooked and that's after waiting 45 mins for it. The only food to come out in 45 mins of waiting was sushi. Finally our food came and it was disgusting. We have been here the past 3 years in the summer and always has been good. read more

I came here based on all the great reviews, and I'm so glad I did. The green curry was incredible, with the sauce being slightly thicker than Thai curry which made it silky and delicious. The lock lack had a delicious fresh ginger flavor which worked great with the slight coal-fired char taste of the outside of the grilled chicken, which I love. Terrible customer service. We walked in and told them we were in a rush trying to make a boat. There were only about 5 other tables in the Restaraunt so it wasn't busy at all. They said no problem...it's really fast. 45 mins later..no food. We had to leave after paying the bill without my meal. When I called to tell them they needed to reimburse me....they tried to tell me that they would only reimburse me for one dish. They wanted to charge me for the drinks (bc we did get those and drink them) and the tip. Really? You want me to tip a waitress who knew we were short on time, didn't prioritize our order, and didn't warn us that "quick" meant 45 minutes?! For pad Thai?!!!!!! I don't think so. After arguing w the manager he agreed not to charge me for the food but would charge me for the drinks. Great way to ensure I'll never be back. Like I said...terrible customer service. read more

Came here for lunch and had the pork bar bong, shrimp stir fry and beef lok lack. All were excellent so we were really looking forward to trying their Sushi (only available Thursday, Friday and Saturday after 4:00pm). Went there on a Saturday night and although it wasn't very busy, service was slow and took forever to get our dinner. There was only one Sushi Chef. Seaweed salad was very good, but the maki rolls were really mediocre. So disappointed. Will probably go back for lunch, but definitely not for Sushi. read more

If you get to meet Bopha she is a most gracious host, and the story of her life from losing her family to the Khmer Rouge as a young girl to her success today is inspiring. You won't find better food within 50 miles. Don't be afraid that it may be too exotic, there is something for virtually anyone's taste. This place is great! The food is so fresh and delicious. I've been going there since it opened and the food is always the same. I always get the Nhem Shross (raw spring roll with shrimp) and Pork Bar Bong (salad, noodles, marinated Pork and Bopha's finger rolls) The BEST combination! We have never once been disappointed. Ok so I just left Stir Crazy because we had a crazy sushi craving while on the Cape... Worst idea ever. First of all, I've had my share of phenomenal sushi, but the sushi here was the worst I've ever had. It was warm and didn't taste fresh. Couldn't even get through half of it. We tried some regular entrees, a rib special and a shrimp dish, which were nothing more than mediocre. For $100 for 2 people, the meal wasn't even worth half the price. Last December, we were looking for an affordable restaurant near the VA Cemetery where we (a group of 50 people) can eat after my cousin's burial. We happen to stop by this place to eat after we visited VA Cemetery few days before the burial. And we were so happy with the food especially their fried chicken which you can order extra crispy. Then we found out that they have a small private room where they can accommodate 50 guests. We spoke with Dee who is the owner and chef. He is very nice. He even gave us a discount coz my cousin was a Veteran. He didn't ask a downpayment for our reservation. He's very nice to us which we badly needed during the time of sadness. On the day of the event, their staff saw my cousin's picture and we were surprised to find out that my cousin was their regular customer! And they even remember what food he usually orders. This used to be a fav of ours. Authentic Cambodian food. Now it has added sushi to the menu. Disappointing. Four of us went last night. Elderly crowd. I ordered lemongrass flank steak which was not bad but the ikura arrived and right away I could tell this was not going well. Pieces were unusually small and seaweed wrapped poorly. We nearly burst out laughing because the portion of wasabi was the size of a pencil erasure head. There were maybe three thin slices of ginger. I had to ask for soy sauce and then a dish to mix the sauce in. I wanted hot sake but it could only be ordered by the bottle with the smallest costing $24. My friend's sushi dinner was deemed poor. The wrong kind of rice was used. My other friend ordered the steak tips. It came with huge pieces of broccoli and cauliflower with little pieces of steak. My wife ordered chicken fingers which turned out to be the best meal. Will not be coming back. read more

I eat here about 2x a year for past 3 years and I find the food to be consistently good. The garden at the front entrance is beautiful. I typically order the fish specials especially things with fish and fruit. Always happy with my order. I'd also suggest the Mango Martini - excellent. My husband & I have been going to Stir Crazy for years and were excited to see sushi added. Now, the only place we sit at when we go is the Sushi Bar. Sushi is outstanding and Dee is an absolute joy to talk to. We love the food. From the regular menu, the chicken bar bong is our favorite. You have to try the egg rolls. If you are expected traditional Chinese food, i.e. Chinese stir fry, or egg rolls, it's not, it is CAMBODIAN food. It is all FRESH vegetables and herbs. You can taste the freshness in every bite. The whole staff is wonderful. We were just there tonight and go about once a week now. read more

Went there last night with my wife and mother-horrible service right at the beginning as waitress did not listen to what we were trying to order. Then when she brought the food out to the table, about 45-50 minutes later, it was cold, all three dishes and we had to ask another server to take it back to reheat which was done. Food was done reasonably well and our server never came back to ask if we needed anything. We saw more of her at the end when it came time to pay the bill. This is without a doubt my favorite restaurant I have ever had the pleasure of dinning at. The place is very comfortable and casual. Feels like you are at someone's home. The food is soo good! The servings are large and the prices are moderate. Everything is fresh and consistent year after year. The staff are all very friendly and Boppa comes out of the kitchen when she can, to greet the customers and listen to their comments. The menu is not overly huge, so I have tried everything on it and it is all good. My favorite is the marinated ribeye steak that is becoming more and more a regular special. It is hard to explain how delicious it is. But is the best steak I have ever had. I have experienced hundreds of restaurants all over the world and have had some amazing food, and this little gem holds its own so well that we come back again and again! Thank you Boppa ! read more
