New favorite clothing store in Seal Beach. It is located on Main Street in Seal Beach. A clothing store like this was desperately needed on main street. There are a lot of restaurants on Main Street, but sadly not many quality clothing stores like this one, until Stitch & Feather opened! I cannot say enough good things about this lovely boutique. I've come in here several times in the last few months and each time I am greeted right away. The staff is super friendly and nice and not pushy at all, which is really nice. The clothes are extremely unique, trendy, and good quality. The prices are not cheap, but I think they are reasonable. The clothes for sale change constantly, which is awesome. So if you see something you love, I recommend buying it right then and there, because I can almost guarantee it won't be there in a few days. Whether you're a Seal Beach local or visiting from out of town, this boutique is definitely worth going to. read more

I don't usually do yelp reviews for clothing stores but Ashley was so adorable and helpful that I had to. I stopped in after dinner to get a gift and she was so helpful and found just the right gift and accessories and even a pair of glasses for myself. I love them. She wrapped all my stuff up so perfect that I didn't have to do a thing for my party today. She even made sure other guest were being taken care of while helping me. I have to admit, they have really nice clothing to sell but as far as their customer service goes, not so much! I visited Seal Beach with my boyfriend two weeks ago and decided to check out the shops on Main Street. I stopped in Stitch and Feather and was really turned off by the staff. There was no greeting upon my arrival, during and after. I was eyeing one of the tunics/dresses in their display window. The girl at the cashier looked at me and proceeded to have more of a conversation with her friend than acknowledging me. You could've gotten a large sum of sale but I will take my money elsewhere. I found it rude but proceeded to check out their merchandise in the store. I didn't stay long enough. No "can I help you;" no hello, no goodbye, nada. So this one star is well deserved. Whoever owns this store should really chime in with their retail staff about their manners and customer service. Doubt I'll be coming back. read more

We parked in front of their store and walked around main street and when we got back to our car a worker from this store came outside and asked if we had been in to which we said no and she gave us attitude and rolled her eyes about us parking in front even though there is no reason why we shouldn't be parked on a public street. Love this boutique! It's one of the larger boutiques on Main St. in Seal Beach and the ambiance is so open and inviting. Like others have mentioned, it's a combination of Free People meets Anthropologie. Before those names scare you away because of the high prices typically associated with them, let me be the first to say... For a boutique, prices are not only fair, but cheap in my opinion. Stitch & Feather carries the trendiest and cutest dresses/tops/bottoms of whatever season we are in, and the price tags are never intimidating. I've even done my research and looked online for some of the pieces I fell in love with here to see if I could find for cheaper. Believe me, they don't jack up the prices or rip you off here. So rest assured, whatever you're buying is at market value. Or... it might be even lower. You heard me. It might be even lower in this store than what you would find online. I found some cute bangles with real gemstones in the store and thought, geez $40 is way too much for a bracelet, I'm positive I'll find it for cheaper on Etsy. Went on Etsy and, sure enough, the same bracelet with real gold detailing and gemstones was $58. ALSO, LADIES, ATTENTION: They sell authentic QUAY sunglasses here. Yes, Quay sunglasses which are only accessible online shipped from Australia. HERE. In the flesh. So you can try them on before purchasing. All Quay glasses online are typically $50 + shipping. Here in the store, Quay glasses are $45 a pair. ...BLESS YOU, STITCH & FEATHER. I had Stitch and Feather bookmarked for quite awhile, so when I got out of a corporate training early in Seal Beach I decided to go find it! Oh my Gawash, can I tell you that I finally felt a "homey" little beach vibe when traversing down Main Street Seal Beach...that downtown area is so quaint and special! S&F has a variety of boho type offerings, all very reasonably priced, IMO. When you can locate a cute fringed suede jacket for under $100 you know you've found a winner. I'm not sure why other Yelpers complained about customer service. The ladies on duty were sweet and conversational the entire time I was in the shop. *shrug* Very cute stuff at decent prices, I didn't find something this time but they have really great offerings and I look forward to coming back! read more

Dropped by Stitch & Feather after realizing my daughter only brought a suit and tshirt to the beach. We walked into the beautiful shop and were treated with a friendly hello. My daughter is 11 and shy and challenging to shop with so I was stressing we wouldn't make our dinner date in time. To the rescue came the staff, asking what we are looking for, and even brought items from a fresh shipment. Yayee for my children being clothed! While she was trying on I happily took in the layout and merchandise. Wow! Needless to say, I purchased an item from the clothing, home and gift section. This review is way over due but so glad to finally be doing it. I went into this store on Mother's Day with my son and my mom. Everyone was SUPER friendly upon us entering and offered us support and water we took a look around and decided on our purchases. We went up to pay and a gal named Tiffany absolutely blew us away!!! She was so kind and asked my mom all sorts of questions. She offered to gift wrap my purchases. She took her time and made them beautiful!!! I am a new mama of an incredible 7 month old and don't have the opportunity to shop often. I must say that the service and kindness that Tiffany and the other staff showed us was so lovely. This was my first time stepping foot in this store. I was initially attracted to the clothing in the window. I found so many items that were on trend and very reasonably priced. I was helped by the sweetest employee, Fiona, who delivered such amazing customer service. The outfit she had on was so chic and I was so excited when she pulled a couple pieces that she felt would suit my body type. I ended up buying one of her picks and I felt it made the shopping experience more personal. They are so helpful, friendly and welcoming here. I was on my way to a different shop when I saw Stitch & Feather and decided to check it out. The store is very well-curated, and I got a disgustingly cute jumper to wear to a friend's baby shower. They even steamed it and let me walk out with one of their hangers. However, I was most impressed with their costumer service. Once i actually started looking around i found a lot of super cute clothes! The staff their is SO nice. I love when stores start fitting rooms for you but they made it a point to learn my name and offered me a beverage. The were very attentive about the wait time to try on clothes (but it really wasn't more than a few minutes to wait for a room to open!). I felt like shopping here was more like an experience, they made their shoppers feel comfortable and actually cared about finding them the items they wanted. 10/10 customer service! read more

They have lots of Bohemian type clothing . I am seeing more of this style around Main Street lately. It's very cute and comfortable. Reminds me of hippie days. What goes around comes around. Anyway , they have some really cute outfits. I looked in from the street and said to myself "festival clothing". Coachella is coming up and they have a selection of cool looking gear to wear. I have to preface that I am simply reviewing all of my experiences here, but my most recent one in particular. I have read on here and heard from multiple people I know, including my mom, that they are less than impressed with the customer service. My mom has experienced rude staff and girls that don't really attention to the shopper if they don't think you're going to buy anything. However, I have always has good experiences here. I'm not a shopper that needs to be fawned over and asked to start a room, etc., so if someone doesn't pay extra attention to me, I don't notice. But, when I do make my purchases the girls have always been nice and recognize me and make small talk, and that's all I look for in a pleasant shopping experience. Last night, I rushed in there before closing to try and find something that I could wear this weekend, knowing full well I had no idea what I was looking for. I knew that they were 15 minutes away from closing and I acknowledged that to the girl working and that I wouldn't keep her over. She never made me feel rushed. If anything, she would call me back over to racks I already looked at and made suggestions. She took a genuine interested in my weekend plans and gave input on outfits that might fit the occasion. I tried on some options quickly, she checked me out and I made it out 3 minutes before they closed. I went across the street to pick up a bite to eat, and 30 minutes later, I realized I didn't have my keys. Frantic, I ran back to the store, thinking I might have left them in the dressing room. Sure enough, the girl greeted me with my keys, not at all visibly upset that she had to stay and wait for me to come back to get them. I was so grateful! She didn't need to stay and wait for me, but she did! I appreciate that very much! I really like that this store has elevated the shopping experience on Main Street while still keeping the integrity and quaint-ness of this small town. read more

I have been into the new location TWICE this week, the new spot is amazing and absolutely stunning decor-wise. Everything is so new and boho and you just get the best vibes when you step inside, they have so much more merchandise now also, which is awesome for me, and for them, cause I'll be buying it all! The new store is located just a couple doors down (away from the beach) of the original location and it is BEAUTIFUL. Not only is it roomy and spacious, everything is so well decorated and has a very comfortable, boho vibe with plants and cool antique wood everywhere - so cute! The clothes are to die for. This is one of my favorite shops to pop into whenever I'm up in Seal Beach! The girls are always super friendly and I usually find at least one item I cant live without. However this review is for a recent online purchase I made with them, which was my first time shopping the online boutique. I was having a bad day and needed some retail therapy and ended up finding a couple great pieces on their site. I ordered them on a Thursday and got them super speedy, Saturday afternoon, granted I am pretty local. The package was beautifully wrapped with a hand written note, such a sweet touch. I've been coming to this place for years and I have always had good service... but this past week I went in and there was a new girl in town, her name is Ellie I believe and she was soooo on point and excellent! She has a very outgoing and likable personality coupled with a good eye for what may look good on you. For example I came in looking for a shirt, as I was browsing the store with a friend she made sure to greet us and make sure we were finding everything. Once I had a few things in hand she offered to start a room, once I got into my room to change she ended up telling me she had two things she thought I might like to try on, I've never had anyone ever do that-- but it totally worked! I needed up buying the skirt she recommended and I'm so happy she pointed it out. She was so friendly and stood out to me out of all of the ladies who've worked there in the past, which is to say she is phenomenal because the Stitch and Feather staff is wonderful.
