    Donut

The donuts are really good but the female owner/ baker is really rude. The guy at the cash register is nice and friendly but the female owner was just flat out rude in a mean manner when I asked her an easy question about the donuts she makes, this is like a Fastrip Gas Station but with a bakery counter inside and no gas pumps, they sell cigarettes and beer and wine, potato chips and soda, candy bars like a 7-Eleven. so the bakery part is kind of an add-on thing, anyway, I refuse to give profit to somebody so rude to their customers so I just go to Jess Donuts on Niles next to Wienerschnitzel hotdogs where the owners smile and thank me for my business. And oh yeah, I said Foothill donuts were good and Jess Donuts are good too, all the donuts are fried bread with different flavored sugar frosting, And some have some vanilla custard or raspberry or lemon jam pumped in them, Some are round, some are rectangle, some are twisted, so what shape do you want? What filling do you want? What flavor frosting do you want? This isn't some mystery to life stuff, The genius people aren't making donuts, hell those genius people probably aren't even eating donuts because they have discipline not to eat bread, fried and oil and then dipped in sugar for breakfast.

We could smell the place before walking up and was a little confused that it looked like a convenience store but the donuts were right there first turn to the right when entering.

They are f**king delicious. I finally had a real cannoli here, and WOW. You get to choose between the classic filling or a maple-butter filling... I did half-and-half because I needed to experience it all. Next time? I'm going full maple butter--no hesitation. You can even get the ends dipped in nuts, chocolate, and a few other toppings. They make it fun. I also tried the apple butter tart and--wow again. Rich, flavorful, and honestly you don't need much because it hits. Definitely shareable... if you're feeling generous. This place is a little gem. I'm genuinely grateful it exists. Prices are reasonable, and while customer service was kinda "there but not there," I didn't even care because I was laser-focused on my desserts to go. They do have a few tables if you want to sit and enjoy your treats inside. I'll be back soon to explore more and I'll update once I discover my next favorite thing.

I went twice to this location two days in a row because I enjoyed it so much. First with a friend and then I had to introduce it to my kids. We tried a variety of baked goods, the honeycomb bread is sooooo dang good! Filled with little pockets of cream cheese, drizzled with honey, and topped with toasted regular and black sesame seeds (I forgot to take a pic of this one, but I'll add it next time I go). We enjoyed all of the pastries we tried- not a crumb on our plates by the time we were finished! The decor is beautiful and unique. All of the employees super nice and helpful. You can ask them for descriptions or ask for a menu to see details and ingredients. They're open late too, so I think my next visit will be a GNO or a date with my hubby.

Upon entry I was taken aback by the beautiful art that appears hand painted on the wall. It is beautiful! I wanted to get a feel for what Yemeni coffee is and how it differs from other regional coffees and I did not get that. We ordered a coffee and a matcha and I was able to try and enjoy both. I think it's good coffee and matcha I just didn't understand how their product differed from anything else. It's not bad and I would get it again but I didn't get a feel for the region. I remember when I tried Turkish coffee for the first time and the richness of flavor and strength, Salvadoran coffee and its rich aromatics, Palestinian and its rich nutty textures via spice, but here I was left wondering. Yes, this is a pistachio coffee, but what makes it different? I don't know. Yes, this is a pistachio matcha, but what made it different. Don't know. Good sure, but I can't really describe how it is unique. The baklava, certainly, provided this rich information. Compared to other baklavas it was drier and crunchier in a way that was satisfying and light. I would prefer to eat this baklava if I was watching my sugar and calories, which coincidently I currently am. Other baklavas are more decadent and syrup/sugar heavy. I was left with a want for more out of how light and delicious they are. I hope to try their cake offerings soon! Would return to continue trying their menu and would love to see a no straw option for the lid along with a more sustainable cup!

I ordered the strawberry cupcakes, chocolate cupcakes and lemon cupcakes with raspberry frosting and filled with raspberry filling. In my opinion they should give information on their website about all the flavors they can do or at least a few flavor idea suggestions, because when I called them to place my order I asked what flavors they offered and she had to name them off one by one and began struggling a bit to remember them all, so it was awkward, time consuming and harder for me to remember everything she was naming this way and just made it harder to decide which ones I wanted to go with... I ended up just randomly picking the first three I remembered her naming. Lol Good picks though ! So all the cupcakes were moist, creamy/velvety and delicious! The frostings were not overly sweet and I thought they were the perfect size too. My only complaint was that the toppings on the strawberry and lemon ones were candy, not a fan of candy and it kinda made them look like they were for kids and they were not. ( Noticed from others pic's that the lemon cupcakes usually have a raspberry on top...) Anyways, excellent prices, great service and delicious cupcakes! Would definitely try them again!
