Stoll & Co is eBay's authentication agent for watches in the US. I sold my Omega Speedmaster, it failed their authentication review, was returned damaged (Tachymeter bezel was lifted with a tool, the watch case damaged at the 12 o'clock position) and not operating in the same manner as before, having a sticky residue applied to the chronograph start pusher (these are new Omega pushers from 2023 installed when servicing the movement) as well as internally on chronograph actuation points at their interface of the various mechanism components. I am a watchmaker and sold my Omega Speedmaster, have a 100% rating in over 600 transactions, over 100 selling watches and luxury watch components for Rolex, Omega, Breitling and other high end brands. When authentication was taking more than the 2 day guideline, I called eBay and they verbally stated things that amazed me as perfectly running watch now runs poorly for some reason, has marks of the casing screws removed....perhaps they switched the movement and other pieces, it is evident there is nefarious activity that has transpired by Stoll. You can get a job there as a Watch Authenticator as they have 2 open positions as of this writing.... Life must be good for them with eBay's gravy train. read more

Stoll & Co C/O Volodymyr Voziyan bought my 18K gold Longine watch for about one third it's value- a real bargain. Next thing I knew they wanted $700 back because he didn't agree with the weight of the watch. The assessors I sent the watch to said the watch was great. I told Stoll & Co. to return the watch for a full refund. He didn't want to do that. After 10 days he gave me a bad review, my first in about 10 years. Absolute joke of a company. They claim to do authentications of watches and "look at every part" but they don't. Also lied about being a Cartier service center. I called Cartier and they said they have no affiliation whatsoever. eBay picked this company to do their "authentications" but it's clearly a $$$ move because they don't do it appropriately nor take the time. I sent two of my watches in for repairs and full service, when they came back, one of them was NOT fixed and I had to sent 3 more times in, after which I refused to send the watch back to them and listen to their excuses and nonsensical statements. Based on their work, and judging by their attention to details, I would NOT recommend this place to anyone, especially when you are paying them hundreds of dollars in repairs for work that does not get done even right - Stay away from them. read more

Stoll charges $500 for a Baume Mercier Chronograph maintenance and when the watch was returned it ran about a minute fast everyday. Stolls wanted to charge me foe shipping, an estimate and any repairs ! There is no real warranty on their work and Baume Mercier management wont get involved even though it is their exclusive vendor. They just want your money and will never buy another Baume Mercier after owning several in my life. They used to do the work themselves but all that stopped two years ago and as a company they are now managed poorly when it comes to its customers and Stolls should be ashamed not guaranteeing the work done read more

This company "authenticated" a Rolex sold to me on eBay and whether intentionally or not sent me a watch that was supposed to be BRANDNEW but it clearly was not. When I returned this watch, they tried to intimidate and blackmailed me by trying to deliver the watch back to me. I refused the deliveries. Then they claimed that I scratched the watch and together with eBay and the seller tried to force me to buy this watch. this is who you will be dealing with if you buy an expensive watch from eBay and then dealing with these ...... These people claim to be experts on high grade watch authentication which I have no problem with, BUT I do have a big problem with Stoll and Ebay grading condition of watches. Their sole purpose (authenticity) should be just that. If they have a problem with a listers description they should let the public decide and stay inside the realm of authenticity verification. This company also does not offer a grading chart as other professional grading companies do. This company has a lot to be desired.. It is no wonder they only have a 2 1/2 stars out of 5. eBay forced me to ship to Stoll & Co as part of their new "eBay Authentication Guarantee" for watches sold over $2,000 on their platform. I am judging the positive reaction by the buyer on eBay as a positive thing that Stoll & Co repackaged and shipped the watch properly onto the buyer and stated it was authentic. I collect watches, for more than 40 years now ... my first watch was Seiko's first dive watch, the 62 MAS. I have a few more than 100 watches in my collection. I've used Stoll services twice, first on new a Ball Skin Diver which needed a minor repair under warranty, and then on an old O&W Mirage III Chronograph with a Valjoux movement that need a complete overhaul. For those unfamiliar, that Valjoux movement is pretty complex ... it sat broken in a drawer for years since the two other places I sent it to were unable to handle the job. Communications were excellent, the work on both watches was perfect, and the shipping in both cases was expedited. Both watches run within a couple of seconds a day, well within COSC standards. read more

I have shipped my swiss watch repair on 27 June 2019 by FEDEX and received a notification on 3 July 2019 stating that I would receive a quote of repair within five business days. I never heard anything from them, no phone call, no email, until I sent a formal complaint on 17 July 2019. Then, Ms. Karen Evans replied by giving all excuses their office was closed on 4 and 5 July, and needed to get the quote from a watchmaker from Switzerland, and asking me "If you wish to wait no further, we can return the watch un-repaired. Return shipping fees are your responsibility". Hello, are you treating a customer like this way? not giving any word of apology for significant delays contrary to your promised date of communication? I was very disappointed about their customer services and am contacting with the watchmaker's headquarter. This business was used by Ebay to verify my watch. The seller who purchased the watch returned it to be with items missing and the watch band replaced with a Chinese fake. They claim to take photos of what they receive and send out but if they don't know the difference between a Rolex fake band and a authentic Tudor band they should be out of business. read more

He was completely honest and told me he did not believe there was anything wrong with the watch. He also told me if I did have a problem in the future to send the watch directly to Ulysse Nardin.
