Turkey Swiss with Avocado fresh bread also.

This place has it all probably the cleanest grocery/restaurant I have ever been in. The braided beef at the restaurant was really good sloppy but good. So grab lots of napkins. Then I came back the next day and got sandwich stuff. Fresh bread fresh cheese and turkey.

Chicken bacon ranch wrap on white wrap. Served with a pickle spear, sour cream packet and coleslaw.

Hot, fresh, and made exactly as ordered. Clean sitting area. Friendly staff. Will be back

Well organized and wide selection And a great source for a Thanksgiving smoked turkey (order in advance). The scrapple and smoked Ham hocks are also very good. The staff is helpful.

Chciken, sausages, and macaroni salad cooked in our Airbnb. A solid meal overall.

It's already April and my wife and I's little getaway to Pennsylvania back in February continues to pop into my head. Mostly it's where we stayed (shoutout to Airbnb), but also it was the fun and different experiences/places we visited around the Intercourse/Lancaster area like Stoltzfus Meats. This store doubles as a place to eat at as well as a spot to get plenty of (I bet you can guess) meats to cook up in the privacy of your own home. Normally, a place like Stoltzfus might have been somewhere we may not have even ventured into, but wanting to spend as much time in that aforementioned Airbnb, we saw the great Yelp score of this spot and what it offered in the way of food to cook, and so Stoltzfus was visited with a meaty mission in hand. What does Stoltzfus offer (beyond just saying meat)? Well they really do have a massive selection of different types of steak, pork, chicken, and even some non-meat meals (pizzas, mac and cheese, etc.). Some items come frozen which would have worked well for us had we been staying longer than a couple of days, but we decided to hit up the counter and get some fresh uncooked items that we could make for dinner (and breakfast). Once being helped (which was quick as there were many people working) the staff member was friendly (albeit we had a little confusion about the amount of sausage types we could buy) and we were able to purchase a few different flavored-sausages, some macaroni salad, and some breakfast sausages to make the next morning. After grabbing these we looked at some of the prepackaged meats and found some marinated chicken strips to get as well. Once back at the Airbnb, we cooked everything up and the meats definitely were tender and flavorful. The macaroni salad was also pretty solid. Though nothing blew me away, the meal we made was great for the price we spent. Best item was probably the breakfast sausages we had the next morning. They were a maple apple flavor and dang were they delicious. Overall, Stoltzfus Meats did the trick for our little Airbnb getaway. Perhaps not a place we would have ventured to if not staying in a location that warranted some potential cooking, I am still glad we got to experience Stoltzfus and would definitely return if we did end up back in that part of the Pennsylvania state with the need to make a meal. Even if I physically don't come back, I know my mind will at least continue to return here!

This place ia full of so many goodies. The fried chicken was so good. They said you gotta try it and their shoofly pie when you are in Lancaster!!!

We stopped for what was supposed to be a light lunch in the cafe called Amos' Place connected to Stolfus Meats. They have indoor and outdoor seating, some under a gazebo. I had a half sandwich of ham salad on homemade white bread and a cup of ham and bean soup. Both were delicious and more than filling. My spouse had a broasted chicken thigh and a small cup of macaroni salad. Again, it's delicious. They have Pepsi products at the self-serve fountain And white Birch beer, which is common around here. If you don't know what that is, it's has somewhat of a root beer flavor. You really can't go wrong with the food they're cooking up for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. I don't know how anyone could leave Stolfaus Meats without bringing home some goodies either.

Great place for lunch & to shop for fresh meats & salads. It can be pretty busy at lunch during tourist season, but still worth the trip.

I ordered a turkey breast from Stoltzfus Meats (Website) because I was hoping to avoid the additives that are in other frozen turkey products in the grocery store. Their website says this is an all natural turkey. See my photos. Butterball's whole turkey tenderloin ingredients are: whole turkey tenderloin, water, contains 2% or less of salt, sugar, natural flavors (including vinegar). Stoltzfus' boneless turkey breast roast ingredients are: Turkey, up to 28% marinade of salt, sodium phosphate, hydrolyzed corn protein, onion powder, dextrose, natural spice extractives (including celery seed). I thought I was purchasing a better product straight from the farm- guess not!! I am extremely disappointed and will not purchase another item from them! Their advertising is misleading and false. I have emailed the company- and received a response that states it's claims on their website are true. Yet their ingredient list states: 100% brined boneless turkey breast. They do not list other ingredients. They questioned my concern about their ingredients but offered no remedy for taking my $85. Beware!! They do not think their customers should know things like dextrose, hydrolyzed corn protein (used in cosmetics), and sodium phosphate are in their meats. Do your research people!

Easily in the conversation for best hoagies in Maryland. This butcher has been on my short list for a while thanks to its recent fame in the Hoagie Gurus Facebook group, where their Old World Italian has become something of a legend. After finally making the trip, I can confidently say it deserves every bit of that buzz. We stopped in on a Saturday around lunchtime and the place had a steady flow of customers. My wife and I ordered the Old World Italian hoagie along with a hot roast beef and gravy grinder that was running as a special. While we waited, the staff was incredibly nice and helpful, and we took some time to browse their butcher case. Everything looked fantastic, and we ended up leaving with several packs of house made sausages that were too interesting to pass up, including a chicken crab cake sausage and a brisket cheddar. After a short wait, our subs were ready and they were both absolute units. Since they have a few two tops for the lunch crowd, we did not even make it to the car before digging in. The Old World Italian was exactly what I hoped for. Piled high with Italian meats and cheeses, sharp provolone, roasted red peppers, and prosciutto, all served on a sturdy yet soft seeded roll. The meats were perfectly layered so every bite was balanced and flavorful. No dead spots, no overwhelming salt bombs, just a beautifully constructed hoagie. The hot roast beef grinder was equally impressive. Freshly shaved beef, rich gravy, and melted provolone came together in a way that felt indulgent without being heavy. Comfort food done right. Between the quality of the sandwiches, the welcoming staff, and the incredible butcher offerings, Galvinell Meat is a destination. It is absolutely worth the drive and firmly belongs in any serious Maryland hoagie conversation.
