The staff here are very friendly on the phone and in the restaurant. Great customer service. Unfortunately I found the pizza just ok. Their sauce is very different and not a traditional (Americanized) flavor. The pizza could have been baked a bit longer to blister the cheese and crisp the crust a bit more. The baker may need a bit more experience in judging the doneness of the pizza. I hope they work on their sauce a bit more. That alone would give them an extra star. I find it nice to go to a place here in Clearlake where there is good friendly service. They just need to work on the ingredients a bit more. I'll probably try it again in a few weeks or months and see if there are any changes in the taste of the pizza. read more

Best pizza since leaving Chicago over 50+ years ago. Just the right dough, red sauce and toppings. And their sausage is the best since leaving an Italian neighborhood. I have ate here twice now both times were fine. The first time nothing notable with the staff and the pizzas were good we got a vegetarian and a meat lovers ( not sure of the exact name). Everyone loved the vegetarian. So when looking for a place to eat last night we decided to come here. We again ordered the vegetarian, being a busy Friday night we noticed the staff struggling some. First if we went in to order and while waiting in line we watched the customer before get treated pretty horribly I believe because he had an accent the woman attempting to help him was very short with him at one point even stating she couldn't understand him and then passed him off on someone else just super rude and poor customer service. Lucky for the gentleman the girl she passed him off on was bilingual and gave much better service, when we picked up our food a gentleman was working the register and as the line got to us we were told to wait while he took care of the phone calls. No biggie but definitely gave of an understaffed impression. While waiting in line you have a pretty clear view of what goes on in the back and one lady was shouting orders even instructed on girl to leave the chicken to be done later. I'm glad I don't eat chicken cuz it was left sitting on the counter at least for the time we were there. When he was ready to help us I had my receipt which he never asked for instead he asked my name and if I ordered online Um no I have a receipt from your store lol. I did appreciate that he showed me the pizza to confirm it was what I had ordered and offered cheese, peppers and plates which was super convenient cuz we were staying in a hotel we didn't get napkins not sure if that was my fault or there's. I cant give it a zero.... One of the worst experiences in a pizza parlor simply trying to pick up an order. 35 to 40 minutes I was told. I paid in advance. My daughter went to pick it up and was told there wasn't an order. Then she was told if there had been an order, it was a pizza that takes 1.5 hours. I drive over and asked what the problem was and i was told there was no order from me, yet they ran a credit charge for $43.01 that had already hit my bank after checking online. I was then told we called the wrong number, the other store. Another employee walking around shot out the same thing, saying it's their mistake. I went outside and dialed the number I originally called and guess who answers...... that's right, the young lady who said I made a mistake and called another store. Magically and mystically she looks in the computer and indeed finds my order, which at this point, had been called in 1.5 hours earlier. She then says what was the problem, did I get the wrong pizza....... YOU NEVER MADE IT CAUSE YOU SAID I NEVER ORDERED IT just 5 minutes earlier. So they asked if I still wanted the pizza and I demanded my money back. I was refunded cash for the credit purchase I made, never even said they were sorry for the mix up, nothing. Usually I brag how great it is, but this time this gal with long strawberry blonde hair in a pony tail was there date 1/27/2020 @ 3:00 p.m.. I ordered the lunch special by phone, went to go pick it up. Not only, did she not greet me ,but was too busy telling one customers that was before me ,about her microbladed eye brows. Gives me my personal pizzas rushing me out dosen't give my salads, then I go back for them. No apology... oh and then no sodas so I go back to get my sodas she get so annoyed with me about it ...Dispenses the sodas and points at the lids so I can put them on myself, as she sees my hands are full. Favorite pizza in town hands down. Friendly staff and good pizza. The garlic cheese twist are amazing. Usually very busy but worth the wait.

The pizza is fairly priced but I prefer other places. What I do love here is the calzones. They are the only place that makes them in Lake County. They also have a nice size salad bar and a few games for the kids to play. The dining room is a little small but not uncomfortable. The crust was crispy perfectly cooked with right amount of crunch. But i found the sauce lacking in flavor the cheese too thick and pepperoni only mediocre in taste. Tried the garlic fries. Not good. They give you 5 (five) items on the make it yourself pizza (unlike the 1 or 2 items most other pizza parlors give)! For $13, I'm able to order an excellent medium pizza, on a variety of different crust choices. The pizza is made fresh and comes out in about 15 minutes! Staff will bring your pizza to your table! The pizza always tastes great! They have a large flat screen TV running all day and night...and if you want, they'll give you the controller so you can change the channel to anything you want to see! Additionally, they have a modern juke box, if you'd just like to listen to music. Seating is very casual at tables with benches (similar to picnic tables except the benches aren't attached!). Ordered a large sausage and mushroom. Had a lot of mushrooms , but only about 10 pieces of sausage. Guess they think if there is a lot of mushrooms, you won't notice the lack of sausage. We eat at the Clearlake store and it has been awesome since opening! My only complaint is that the Pizza is so good it's busy all the time. But the wait isn't long, and well worth the Pie!
