This town brought me here for a celebration of life. Never heard of it before. A group of us headed over to the couples favorite Irish Pub, and this is where I fell in love with McHenrys! If I am ever anywhere close, I will be sure to route myself for a visit with my friend Guinness and this pub. The team working were so friendly, accommodating and caring. They allowed us to push two massive tables together so all of us could hear each other telling the wonderful stories of our love ones. It truly was magical. All of it. They serve bar food. I tried the fried mushrooms, cheese sticks, shrimp and nachos. All were hot and flavorful. There is plenty of parking. Restrooms were clean, and the floors were clean in the restaurant. No stickiness like some places have. I am partial to Irish pubs, and this one is top on my list! If you are close to the area, go enjoy yourself! My wife and I came here after a long day. When we walked in we were met by a happy and friendly young lady who told us to sit where we liked. She noticed that we looked into a closed section when we first walked in and told us we could sit there anyway. The rest of the staff that we met were just as happy and friendly and the food was amazing. We enjoyed our meal with great customer service. I recommend McHenry's to everyone. read more

Cool little place. Nice menu and the food was respectable. It will literally take you an hour to get the simplest of faire. It took forever tonight to get just wings and jalapeño poppers. When I complained to our server, Crystal, she looked at me like I was the crazy one for saying something about it. She uttered something like, "It's taking a long time because everyone is ordering fried food tonight. She was not apologetic and didn't care. I won't be back. Food and drinks were good but when my friend ordered a hot sauce they said they couldn't give it to him. The manager then came out and explained why which made no sense at all. We are paying customers so he should've gotten what he asked for. Unacceptable that the sauce that he requested, which was available, could not be provided due to his lame excuse which again made no sense. Nevertheless, it's a fun place and I would still recommend it. Just don't order they really hot sauce. Lol read more

Food is good but terrible management and wait time For a simple meal is an hour or more three times in a Roll something is very wrong there is always an excuse with the kitchen. The wife and I love this place. The fried mushrooms are a staple for us EVERY visit. They are amazing!! The fried shrimp are HUGE and flavorful. My son likes the burgers and the chicken sandwich. Been a while since I last posted. So tonight was interesting. We were seated quickly, but service was incredibly poor. It was very difficult to get waitress attention. We needed mayo for our burgers and didn't get any. Finally someone had to walk over to where they were loitering and ask waitress to come to table. I say loitering because they were definitely not looking around to see if their customers needed anything I can't speak to what others ordered, but I heard no complaints about their food. I ordered the seafood chowder, bowl for 9.99, and the jalapeño bacon cheese burger for 12.99 I knew it was going to be an unpleasant experience when others who had come in after us received their food well before ours. The nail cane when they brought the order and some stuff from someone else was on my plate and vice-versa. The food: The soup was pretty good, but not worth 10$. Actually better soup than the burger was a burger. I ordered my burger medium (much experience as to what a medium burger looks like) AND their menu defines each cooking level. If there was any pink in my burger I would have needed a magnifying glass to find it. Now I don't mind an occasional overcooked burger... happens to me all the time at cookouts...BUT... if your going to ask how I want it, and include I your menu what each order will result in, AND your going to charge $13 for a burger; THEN DO IT RIGHT. If you're ok with high prices, poor service, incorrect orders, and improperly prepared food then go for it. read more

Not very Irish other than some Guinness mirrors and such on the wall but, the food we had on this visit was really good. I got a cheeseburger with bacon and grilled onions and my buddy got an order of wings. We were both happy and frankly, somewhat surprised. Dining options in Keystone are rather limited and I would list McHenry's as a solid choice. Service was friendly though a bit slow and it's a little scary for the future when the manager comes around saying you will get a 10% discount on your bill if you pay with cash. The biggest negative was all the Orange and Blue clad Gator fans there watching football but, I don't hold that against McHenry's as that money spends too. Go Noles! :) read more

Over the years, the service has been spotty. Food generally very good. We've lived in Keystone for three years now and somehow only just found this place! Not very Irish, as other reviewers have said, but the food is fine nonetheless. The place is family friendly, especially considering it's a bar. Very nice atmosphere, plenty of kids were shooting pool in the bar area with their parents. Service is nice. The food is a bit pricey, but it is gourmet. Hamburgers are nasty, but pretty much any seafood on the menu is good (which it mostly is comprised of). read more

This place used to be good. Not now! I ordered cheese fries. They changed the style of fries and gave you a basket with a single layer of fries with Velveeta melted on top. Not good so we asked to send them back after eating three of them between two of us. The waitress seemed bothered about that but took them back. We then ordered nachos without beef or sour cream. What did it come with . . . Beef and sour cream and someone else dropped it off at our table and just left. We ate them anyway and they weren't too bad. Waited and waited for refills of coffee and waited for the check so we could pay. The waitress sent another person to check on us so we asked for the check so we could pay. We got it and found we were charged for the beef on the nachos and the cheese fries we returned. When the waitress finally returned she immediately said she made a mistake and they charged us for beef and it wasn't supposed to be on the nachos. She did not apologize for the mistake. We then asked why we were charged for the fries that we sent back. She said, "Well, you ate most of them!" I guess three total fries was "most of them" for $6.95. She asked if we would like to speak to a manager. We said yes. She left and came back a little later and informed us that the manager was too busy but she removed the charge for the fries "just this once" to make us happy. She then reiterated "just this once" as if she was doing us a favor. The waitress was defensive and the manager was to busy to see about an unhappy customer. This is not the type of place I want to do business with. Is it the kind of place where you would like to eat? Tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and tried it once again. Waited over an hour and 20 minutes for food. Nothing but excuses that they were busy. Never got our food. Manager was rude. I WILL NEVER COME BACK AGAIN!!! read more

McHenry's was a surprising find in Keystone Heights. Great little bar & restaurant, and we had a friendly & funny waitress. Literally pages and pages of sandwiches, baskets, and dinners, with lower priced lunch specials. We tried the fish and chips which were very good, and the blackened chicken sandwich, also tasty. The sandwiches come with a choice of fries, collards, rice & black beans, & several other options. The black beans & yellow rice were prepared nicely and I opted for one of their wing sauces, mango habanero, on the blackened chicken sandwich which added a nice kick & some sweetness. NOTE: when you check in on Yelp, at least as of yesterday, you get a free domestic draft beer with your meal. That was an added surprise bonus! This place is a better option than the other restaurants we saw nearby. read more

We decided to go by here today after dropping our kids off at Camp Immokalee and were very glad we did! Ashley our server was fantastic and all of the food from the fried okra and fried pickles appetizers, to the burgers, philly cheese steak and chicken breast sandwiches were terrific. Had a lovely meal with my grandmother & her friends. When the check came, I asked why I was charged for 2 dinner meals (10 wings, 2 flavors, no sides for $16!) & the little, sweet waitress became rude & snippy. When I asked her to correct the bill, her attitude became worse & very unhelpful. I could see that the situation was not going to be rectified or made right, & her attitude made everyone uncomfortable, so we paid & left. What an awful way to end a nice meal. She should know that the customer is always right. A simple adjustment could have brought her a tip & more business. Unfortunately, that is NOT the case as I heard her mouthing off as she walked away from us. We will not be back. Food is already overpriced for quality, so bad customer service seals the deal. read more

Tried the Corned Beef and cabbage! Was extremely impressed! Place is somewhat clean not immaculate. Plenty of parking. Large restaurant with plenty of seating. Prices are reasonable.
