They've been open for around 8 years and have expanded their tasting room/brewing a couple times I believe. It's quite a traditional tasting room with a bar and plenty of non bar seating as well. Some large garage doors that can also be opened during warm weather. We sat at the bar and due to our timing it was not busy and the bartender immediately greeted us and made us feel welcome showing us the menu. They had a good variety of beer styles available including IPAs (single, double, fruited), brown ale, blonde, lager, stout, and more. They also got non alcoholic options as well as a food menu too. Can't speak to the food as we had lunch before our visit! Seemed like a great variety of offerings though! We were happy to visit and check this off our Maine brewery list. Beers were decent while not being extremely memorable or stand out. I did appreciate their wide variety of beer styles though. Still worth visiting for sure!

Needless to say, beer only - they don't have the license to serve beer in pints, but you can get the 4 oz samples and growlers to go. The place was PACKED when we were here; but everyone was very friendly and shared the small space together. They had 8 beers on tap; we had to try all 8! Everything was really solid; my fav was the stout and hubby liked the IPA. We didn't get to talk to the brew master as it was so crowded, but really enjoyed the experience and would recommend this place to anyone who is passing through or vacationing nearby. Just a side note - the bathroom situation is very interesting... the toilet is a cross between portal potty and compose. A bit high up and there's actually a step stool for the ladies to step up to "sit" on the seat. Bathroom is not dirty and doesn't smell...but it is definitely a hole for the waste to go in; no flushable water. By the toilet, under the bucket sink (with bud light tap as the water faucet control!) there' a bucket of dirt. Sign says to put a scoop in after you poop (ha!). Not an ideal situation for female, but still better than portal potty.

Wanted to like this place so so bad ! Food came out cold, and when I bit into my chicken sandwich I was shocked to see it was raw! While waiting on our food we saw a woman in the hosting area speaking to the staff in a very snippy way with lots of attitude. Asked out waitress who it was and was appalled to find out it was the owner. Have been working in the restaurant business I can't support a restaurant who treats their staff negatively. Beer was good , however that was basically guaranteed as I knew the brewer from a previous brewery. The area was typical for a brewery , no changes since bad lab. Won't be back! read more

There were no other patrons (I don't know how they stay in business with the consistent lack of customers) and the bartender was...odd. We went to the bar and barely got a "hello." My friend and I ordered the pale ale offering that they had and my partner got an IPA. The bartender asked if we wanted to start a tab, so we said "sure." We stood there as the bartender turned his back...assuming he would take our cards. We awkwardly walked to a table as we sipped our beers...which we were not a fan of. The pale ale had a weird flavor to it, and the IPA had an odd taste as well. We fought through the taste, as we sat in silence with no patrons and just the bartender. We ended up paying our bill and quickly leaving. It's unfortunate, because Dover has the opportunity to house cool brewery spots, but this one misses the mark between the awkward service and the odd tasting beer.
