    two glasses of beer

IF I can give more stars, I would!! This is seriously the best beer, the best brewery around with the best people running it. No matter who is working, you are welcomed like you are VIP and they have a great selection on tap and can to take home at all times (I mean, who doesn't enjoy great beer at home!?). Empty Pint is a great place to stop in after work or make it your new favorite hang out spot. If you haven't tried it, you should stop by- you won't regret it.

    Vice Pale Ale.

Great vibe. Great beer. Lots of friendly people. Parked right out front. The Vice Pale was my favorite. Lise got a flight and really liked the Peanut Butter Milk Stout. The Kissing Booth (plum) was really good too! Definitely worth popping in.

Had to come back for the VICE pale ale

Off the beaten track. Don't miss mis gem! VICE is my favorite, light hoppiness, crisp. Matty is great, funny, east to talk to. This could be the "Cheers" of Dover. New since November and still developing. 2 large screen TV'S, Foosball, great natural edge tables make for a cozy place to try every beer in a flight.

    Flight of excellence.

So overall the food is good BUT...it's a little overpriced for what you get…read more The tiny bowl of chips and salsa was okay but $7.50 for the serving size in the picture. We finished half the chips before we ran out of salsa and it was $2.50 for a small salsa refill. Won't be getting these again. I had the throwback taco and the pork carnitas taco. The throwback was beef and it was okay. Not a lot of flavor but decent. The pork carnitas was very good and I will be getting it again. My husband got the same two items in bowls and he enjoyed them. The ambiance is okayish. All high tops inside and the seating was not comfortable at all. My legs really hurt by the end of the meal. I've never commented on seating before on any of my posts so just know that's how much I felt they were hard on the body. Service was fast but I don't like that you have to order on the app or go to the bar. It's very impersonal but is what it is I guess. Over all we spent $90+ on 4 tacos 3 drinks and chips and salsa. That's a bit high imo for what you get.

Staff was friendly, they do not offer flights so if you're like me I like to try what they have to then order a larger glass. Ordered some Nachos for a snack which were pretty good. As far as their beer it was just ok, refreshing and light. They had some Mug club growler thing so unless you bought into that you couldn't get certain beers to go. This was a bit out of the way to get to and probably would not be my choice to come back.

There are a number of two-hour parking spaces around the area, and with a 1-2 minute walk, much more free options around. Located in the center of Berwick, you cannot miss it, and will probably be the standing-room-only spot when they complete the residential project across the street. Family friends came to visit and they love local brew pubs. So thought it was a natural choice. The layout is a bit odd, but once you figure it out, manageable. Whether you want to sit indoors or out, start as the bar in the back to order. They will page you when food is ready. Plenty of seating available and standing room for a large gathering. The menu was great and we all found something that worked for our tastebuds. We also had a young one with us and he was able to find something. You can keep the table open and try a flight or two or enjoy a full glass. Once you figure out your favorites for beer, you can grab a pack to go. Or as my friends did...a few to go. Thanks for a great afternoon. I apologize for not taking pictures which is unusual.

Upon entering Hop + Grind I was reminded of my old ways. The food is nothing short of ooze-worthy, with creamy levels of goodness, moist, juicy burgers, and sloppy fries. But the innuendos need to stop. I don't need to think of lustful acts while slopping down a greasy bite. I mean, cmon, Hoggy Style? You people make me sick. Overall, a good place with a good vibe. Would come here again.

Burger: I went with the Beast Mode, which comes with two patties, cheese, double bacon, "Hop sauce," crispy onions, pickles, and maybe more. Can't really specify temp, so the patties a bit dry, but well-seasoned and really good beef flavor. I liked the creamy, zingy sauce. But that bacon! Flavorwise, among the best bacon I've ever had. Texturewise, I really liked the thickness and pliability, but this came at the expense of some crispness. I'll take that trade but same may not. I also really liked the bun, which is a seeded briochy model that's less dense than what I've had previously at Tuckaway. Overall, very good burger. Gimme some juiciness and it's a great burger. Fries: They come standard with the burgers and chicken. A small order, but enough to get by and nicely done. Many fries options with various add-ons. You can also get onion strings, even though they're not on the menu. Shake: I went with chocolate. Not as fudgy as some I've had, but tasted very natural, with the milk flavor coming through, no shortage of chocolate, and a consistently that's thick but very drinkable. Good accompaniment to the burger. Chicken Tenders: I split a trio that came with fries and choice of sauce. These were huge and flattened, kinda like a chicken parm. Very crisp, well-seasoned, and juicy in spots, not-so-juicy in other spots. Good flavor on its own and in tandem with our hot honey (generous cup), dry rub (ditto), and both. Friendly staff throughout. Looking forward to coming back.
