    Outdoor seating - dog friendly!

Went to York Beach in the morning and stopped here afterwards! Enjoyed a few beers with my husband and got to bring our dog and sit outside! Great place to come in the offseason - shops near by and a great atmosphere!

Despite a sign on the door the number of children grossly outnumbers adults in this BREWERY.

    Lobster roll and beer cocktail

Best lobster roll and beer in town! Best prices too!!! I recommend the Mango Mosa beer cocktail.....

Great night for a beer under the tent!

Great spot to hang out and have a beer, quite tonight . No food truck today.. If you're in the area and like beer you should probably stop in and try one. Flannel sombrero is great on a hot day

    Great indoor/outdoor space!

Close to the beach. Great Beer. Dog and Kid friendly. Food trucks. Live music. Amazing outdoor and indoor space. So many great things that you have to love this place! We have been a few times now and have enjoyed all of them! If I had to come up with two critiques- 1. Parking- it's horrible everywhere down in that area so it's not this place alone. You can park at the ball fields next door though I think! 2. No changing tables for babies. I LOVE that they allow kids but no one wants to change a diaper on a floor, outside, or at a table. It's an easy fix!

Very accommodating and nice staff. Great location with plenty of seating with shade. It's mainly a place to drink, socialize and listen to live entertainment during scheduled times. We were there before the live music. It's a great place to kick back, relax and have a beverage. My family really enjoyed the selection of beer. I was the DD so I drank non-alcoholic beverages. There are food trucks selling food during certain times of the day. We were able to buy other food that was needed for our large crew and bring it there to eat it. We asked, as a courtesy, and they graciously allowed us. Then live entertainment arrived for their designated time and it was great! Tough to find parking. Be careful you don't park in a spot that requires a permit. You will be ticketed. Bring cash for the parking meters. The meters were having issues with credit cards when we went. A short walk from Short Sands!

    Lobster Rolls!

The best lobster roller in York Beach! They have Maine red hot dogs and sausages too. So happy to have this at York Beach Beer Company this summer.

Stopped in while on vacation in York. The beers were all good and so was the service. They have a great outdoor seating area. A must stop.

While the names of the beer were a tad ridiculous, the beet was good and it was a nice scene.

I actually would go as far as saying they are underrated in talks of all the breweries in Maine. They have always been a brewery with a vast amount of variety in their styles they brew. Such as IPAs, fruited sours, porters, stouts, lagers, and so many more. Enough variety you could visit and all your party could find their style. They also deserve a lot of credit for being one of the first if not the first in the state to jump on the non-alcoholic train for beers. This has expanded to basically be as varied in style as their usual beers now. I actually enjoyed their NA Mexican Lager and it was delicious and would be a great option for those looking for NA beers. My wife grabbed their NA seltzer and enjoyed it as well. Since that expansion they have also moved into adaptogen beverages as well as CBD/THC drinks too. They keep expanding their portfolio while also doing what they already do so well! Also for non beer drinkers they did have some bourbon and other spirits available as well. Really great options for all who show up! They don't offer food themselves besides some free popcorn, which was seasoned perfectly! Although if feeling like more food swing in next door to Weathervine and grab some food before to pair with your drink. The bartender was very friendly and apologized when my first choice kicked and from his interactions with other patrons it is clear Woodland Farms cares about their customers! A spot my wife and I will make sure to return to sooner rather than later. You should check it out as well!

Definitive in Portland is an absolute favorite of my wife and I! We had our first unofficial date there, made many trips to try new beers as well as had our engagement photos taken there as well! Definitive did recently announce their closure of this location recently and my wife and I were free this weekend for their last weekend open. We made time to get down here to visit the spot as we had never checked out this location. If I was rating solely off of beers I would give five stars for the quality and taste. They have some delicious sours and make a good variety of styles. Only knock on their beers would be they have not made as many new beers over the past couple years. The downgrade from five stars into four stars comes down to the location itself. While I am understanding that due to space constraints it is more limited for space here it is overall a more disappointing space when you compare it to Portland. They do still have a patio available but the size is so small compared to Portland. The overall inside vibes are just not as nice either. This was a great spot to get all of those visiting the tourist heavy area of Kittery but I would take the Portland location everyday! Overall though it is a shame to see a brewery location closing in our great state of Maine especially a location of a brewery that is a favorite of my wife and I!

Wanted to visit this location as sadly it closes Monday. We tried several IPA's and sour beers…read more Parking was quite easy for us as traffic was really busy on the roads coming into brewery.

It wasn't my preferred type of beer, but I found it tasty and refreshing. The next morning at breakfast at a restaurant in town, there were small signs on the table for their beers. So that afternoon, I went to Liar's Bench for lunch. I appreciate the messages the universe had sent me. Apart from a challenge getting parking at lunchtime, with several spots in the lot reserved for nearby Murray's Plumbing, there's much to like about Liar's Bench (and that's no lie). The beer selection is varied enough that I was able to get a very satisfying flight. My local friend had suggested I order whatever was the chef's special of the day (which today was a specialty burger), but we instead opted for the BBQ platter for 2, with a large amount of pulled pork, slaw, potato salad, and Texas toast. We sat at the bar and had great service and conversation. I can see why this is a popular lunch destination. Another bonus for me is that Liar's Bench is the closest brewery to a hotel at which I often stay when I'm in Portsmouth, making this a new destination for me when I'm in the area.

Come foe the drinks, maybe a snack, but come during the warmer months, as I'm sure the patio opens up and it's a much better scene. Wait staff could be a bit more engaging. Overall, I'd come back to try the food, it's unique to see "tubed meats" on the menu. I'm getting a lot of German influences when. it comes to the menu.
