You can never go wrong ordering from Stonefire Grill. We go to the one closest to us in Chatsworth a lot but this time we ordered take our from this location since my sister lives near. This was our 4th of July celebration dinner. We ordered the tri tip, bbq chicken cobb salad, pasta, ribs and breadsticks. A lot of people were also ordering take out orders so picking up the food had a line and delay. It wasn't too bad if you went before the rush. The food was delicious like always and they packed everything correctly. The parking at this location is a hit and miss because it's in a big plaza with many stores so you might have to park farther and walk here. read more

Order at the counter and the food is brought to the table as soon as it is ready. I ordered the BBQ salad lunch special ($10.25). Oddly, the "BBQ" salad does not come with any meat or chicken - it is a $2 add on. It comes with soup or salad. I chose the soup (it seemed odd to get a side of salad with your salad!). When the food arrived, the soup was room temperature. Two of my friends also had a soup on the side. Both had to be sent back to be reheated. Even hot, the soup was just meh. The salad was fresh and tasty despite the dressing being flavorless. And the breadsticks that come with the lunch were fresh and excellent. Will I return - yes. Just not to get the soup. read more

I really like Stonefire Grill, nice casual sit down restaurant. Great BBQ, pizzas, pastas, salads, deserts, etc. really love their carrot cake, large portion and full of flavor. Their BBQ sauce is one of my favorites. Chicken, tri-tip, ribs, it's excellent on all of them. Their pizzas are really good, blue cheese for the salads is great, really everything I have tried I like very much. They have good lunch specials for one, family meal deals, their "stimulus package" which gives a lot of value for families and much much more. You order at the front counter when you walk in, then you get a buzzer and find a seat. They bring you your food out and clean everything up after. Nice casual atmosphere and just a comfortable spot to grab a bite to eat. They have tons of indoor seating as well as an enclosed outdoor patio area. They also have a rewards program you can sign up for to earn points for money off meals, free deserts on your Birthday and more. Recommend you join to take advantage of it and enjoy their good food and service. Another great perk they give is to Veterans and active Military, I am not a Veteran, but it's worth mentioning. Service and Food is still good, this review is just an FYI...because I phone in my order for pickup, so I ordered under the Limited-Time Offerings $13 menu and ordered Sausage Pizza which is listed $13 and I ordered salad which is also $13 anyhow my total came out to $29 and change, and thank goodness I double checked, I ask why am I getting charged more? He said The Sausage pizza was not listed in their computer, so he charged me Cheese pizza with added Sausage. That is so WRONG of the company not having this listed in their computer. But he was kind to adjust. So price was what it's supposed to be. Just beware...cuz we work hard for our money, and it's the principle. I posted app picture. The salmon "glaze" was nasty! Brown thick sour mess thrown on a plate. The bbq sauce I got from the pump machine was water down and sour. Not thick at all. Horrible! We've been to this location of Stonefire Grill a number of times over the years, so I'm surprised that this is the first time I've written a review. We have been on our own a couple times, but most often we've met dear friends there who live close by. That's what we did last week on the 25th. This is the chain's 25th anniversary year, and they are offering specials on the 25th of each month for their rewards members. It was 25 cent breadsticks for February. They also had a deal where if you bought a $50 gift certificate online you'd receive $25 for free. I took advantage of that deal, so DH and I had our sandwiches, drinks, and a large cookie all covered under the original certificate. We met our pals and enjoyed sitting out on the covered patio in the 5:00 hour on a warm early evening. At that time we had it all to ourselves. Every staff member we encountered were very polite, friendly, and helpful. Kudos to the young team! I enjoyed my French dip sandwich and the chance to catch up with our friends. All good! read more

We typically order to go. The food is always on time or early which we appreciate for to go food. The staff greets you as opposed to the customer have to get their attention. I appreciate they are friendly and professional as opposed to a lot of other places that employ younger workforce that tend to talk and socialize amongst themselves instead of focusing on customer service. I places an order online, blind without my glasses. I ordered one of the new, unfamiliar deals. When I arrived to pick up, I was surprised my deal did not include a protein. Well...I paid $2.99 for some extra sauce and end up getting the bland, hardly-sauced pasta pictured below. Other than that the food was great, but why should I pay extra money if they are going to ignore my request. The rest of the food was great despite the annoyance of not getting part of my order. The pesto was pretty good despite mostly tasting like overboiled pasta with a tiny hint of basil. I like to dip my breadstick in the pesto, and I was able to get one good dip from the tiny puddle of sauce in the corner that cost me $3. I'll start off by saying the food was mediocre. Kind of surprised because there was quite a bit of people in the restaurant. Me and my boyfriend order the tri-tip with mashed potatoes, garlic shrimp with rice and mashed potatoes. Both of our dishes with a drink around my $50. Potatoes were dry , it looked like they scraped bottom of a pot. I was surprised because a customer suggested the mashed potatoes and said it was amazing. I couldn't finish mine. Every single time I place an order for pickup, I'm waiting at least 15-20 minutes. I get it, restaurants get busy but fix your estimated time. Today I showed up right on time, they said it's not ready, okay no biggie. I went to wait in my car and came back 10 minutes later. The guy said unfortunately we don't have anymore chicken so if you want to wait for your chicken it's going to take a while. Why didn't you say anything when I got there lol. I asked or a replacement item and the guy said he doesn't know if he could do that so I asked for a manager. Fortunately the manager didn't as any questions and just replaced it with another item like I requested. Then we got home and they didn't even include any of the sauces we had on the order. This place is absolutely horrible! Only one person on the register to take orders while there's 15 people waiting on line! you see a ton of workers walking around but no one helping at the front counter also a lot of dirty empty tables that aren't being cleaned. My boyfriend and I had to clean our own table while one of the workers just sat there and watched us clean it and didn't even offer to help wipe down the table or nothing just stood there cleaning a different table and watched us. The place is in shambles so messy and the napkin area was super low, barely in any napkins looks like nothing has been refilled. Worst experience ever just to order and having to clean our own table ! I hope the higher ups are reading this because you guys need to definitely put attention to this place read more

Today we went to pick up our takeout order having ordered the Father's Day special plus some supplementary orders for about $321 when we showed up apparently there was some confusion because our order was supposed to be ready at noon we came about 1215pm and what they found out is that someone else took the order unfortunately for whatever reason it was given to another person so they were very apologetic and the acting manager Jaden (not sure of proper spelling) however Jaden was kind enough to credit our order by half and he had them cook and ready our order completely while we sat down and he comped our lunch and he was very, very helpful very charming and threw in some brownies for us so that is proper Customer Service that's why we've been doing business with this restaurant for probably 15 years. I can't recommend them highly enough and compliments to Jaden on his superb managerial skills and great customer service. read more

I had a nice lunch with some family here. This Stonefire Grill is located in a big shopping center. They're known for their grilled meats, breadsticks, and salads. First off, I would highly recommend getting their garlic breadsticks (if they don't already come with your meal) because they are so good! The bread is crisp in the outside, fluffy on the inside, and garlicky all over. I liked that they had a refreshment station with lemons and soft drinks. The food came out pretty quick and the staff were friendly and helpful. I liked that the store had high ceilings and it almost had a wood cabin kind've feel. I got the superfood fiesta bowl salad with chicken on top. The bowl came with quinoa, chopped kale, black beans, corn, roasted chickpeas, some other veggies, and a side of tortilla chips. It was also topped with some guacamole. The veggies tasted fresh and the flavors blended well together. I enjoyed the side of chips which added a crunch to the salad and were great for dipping into the guac. I really wanted to like this place and I don't think I'm eating at it for quite a while. I went last week and realized you had to order when you walk in which is fine. I asked for a suggestions cuz I figured I'd get pulled pork but the order taker said it's not that good. So I ordered a chicken breast with the side of mashed potatoes, my friend also got the same order. We didn't order drinks so we just had water. The bill came to $55 which kind of blew me away for a small chicken breast and a couple side dishes maybe I haven't gone out in a minute and I know prices have gone up but that's kind of ridiculous to not have someone wait on you. One part of our order came out very late, but the two servers taking care of us were so kind and attentive they checked in several times and made sure we had everything we needed. The manager was also incredibly gracious and quick to make things right. Mistakes can happen anywhere, but it's the way they handled them that really stands out. Our group of six came to Stonefire on Halloween, and I can honestly say the experience was amazing, mostly thanks to our server. She was an absolute rockstar from the moment we walked in. We wanted to sit at a booth that hadn't been cleaned yet, and before we could even say anything, Shelby (the girl with pigtails, dressed as a cat) immediately stepped away from the register, grabbed a rag, and wiped everything down herself, all with a big smile and the friendliest attitude. The restaurant was pretty quiet when we got there. A few people were coming in for takeout, and it looked like only a couple other employees were working, but Shelby seemed to be doing just about everything herself. She took our order, cleaned tables, and still found time to check in on us like we were her top priority. You could tell she really cared about making sure we were happy and comfortable, and she never looked stressed or impatient. The food was great, me and my husband especially loved the pepper and garlic flavored tri tip. Our server went above and beyond and made it feel like we were the only table in the place. SHOUT OUT TO JORDAN Came here for a family dinner and left pretty disappointed before Jordan the manager helped. We had a large group but ordered separately, each with our own order numbers. One of the servers brought the food out, and while everything was initially correct, she randomly took our tri-tip to the opposite side of the table. I let her know it was ours and her response? "Yeah, whatever," before walking away. I was stunned. Even my sister turned to me and said, "What's with her attitude?" It really ruined the mood, especially since this was a going-away dinner for my cousin. I didn't want to cause a scene, but I was genuinely upset. Thankfully, before we left, I spoke with the manager, Jordan, and he completely understood. He apologized and acknowledged that her behavior was unacceptable. I will start by saying we like Stonefire very much. We've been coming since the beginning. Recently somethings have changed. You know the term if it's not broken don't fix it? It applies here. Garlic. I have nothing against garlic. Use it all the time. For some unknown reason Stonefire has been marinating the baby back ribs and tri-tip with garlic. We asked one of the managers why and he didn't know. "We just do now". Do you have any ribs or tri-tip not seasoned in garlic? We were told no. Stonefire's baby back ribs were always a safe bet. Just as good as Wood Ranch. Not anymore. The BBQ Tri-Tip salad is one of our go to's every time we come here. Tri-Tip usually not made to order comes cold and you guessed it, garlic. This is unfortunate. These things used to be great. The pizza is still the bomb. No complaints! Last night the evening before Thanksgiving we decided to order in. We tried their rigatoni with meat sauce. This should be a slam dunk entree. Meat sauce, rigatoni, mix, voilà! It tasted like smoke. Like someone spiked it with liquid smoke. Just baffling. Do they bake it in a wood fired oven? It sucked. Threw the whole thing in the garbage and got a full refund from Grubhub. WTF Stonefire? You can do better. read more
