He kept telling me" what do you want me to do, it's not my fault, it's the machine." His attitude and arrogance was over the top. He wanted me to drive through a third time so he could rinse it. I said sure but a refund first please so I can drive off from there. He told me no because I'm still getting a car wash. I said It's not working, you're rinsing the soap off not the whole car wash. The only reason I come here is because it is right next to my house, so it is really convenient. All the people working here are total potheads. They seem like they're on cloud nine when talking to you or like your a completely different form of life. I always get the deluxe wash which is $9.99, which includes the basics as well as vacuuming. You pull your car up to one of the open slots, hand your keys over to the so called employees and head inside to pay. Getting a car wash allows you to fill up your car with gas for cheaper, but beware, you have to mention it to the cashier BEFORE you pay for anything! I learned my lesson the hard way. He wouldn't budge at all and let me pay for the cheaper gas after I already payed for the car wash. Jerk! The one thing I like about this car wash is that they have a few benches outside to sit and wait along with a flat screen tv. The area is covered, so it makes it relaxing. The employees drying the cars do a decent job, nothing spectacular, but what do you expect for 10 bucks I guess. Don't go here!!! I have come here a few times in the last year and each time have been more disappointed than the last. It takes a really long time, and while that might be explained by the supposed hand-washing...that excuse falls apart when you realize they only mean hand-drying (and that they use the same drive-thru car wash available at other gas stations.) On top of that, they regularly do a half-assed job and some of the guys there then demand a tip afterwards. I had to walk the guy around my car today and point out over 10 spots that he missed that were either bird droppings or watermarks he never dried, only to get home and realize he never even touched the roof or dusted the dashboard. I will never go here again. I have been coming here for years and they have never been very good, or very fast, but I work next door and it was convenient. Every time I have been here they have missed something, like the air freshener or vacuuming out the hatch, but no big deal. Even though I always pay at the pump they still have you go inside to see the cashier for some formality, and today I walk in and they said to me "$1." I asked "what's that for," and he says "for extra sized vehicle." I drive a small 1996 Chevy blazer. I have driven this car for over 12 years, from one side of this great country of ours, to the other, and never once has anyone charged me an extra fee, including The Stoney Point Car Wash. After changing their tire armoral prices on me (from included in the wash,to 6 bux,to 4 bux and all this on 2 occasions) they didnt wipe down my dash, didn't wipe down my steering wheel and didnt vacuum between my seats, twice! They use old towels and something tht looks like an old broom to scrub ur car b4 it goes thru the washing machine, scratching car paint galore!!. The service is fast and friendly. A standard car wash is usually around $10 and they do not haggle you about upgrading to wax or dressing. It is a hand wash which is a must to keep your car's paint looking good. I found the service here to be better than at the Mason Ave car wash. I had never even noticed this place until today ... we're staying at a hotel around the corner while work on our home is being done, and I wanted to take advantage of their $9.99 weekday special (from 8am - 10am.) The guy tried to upgrade me - I'm glad I said no because I'd probably still be waiting, but he offered a free air freshener & I (unfortunately) accepted. I say unfortunately because when my young son and I got into the car, we were coughing our entire 10 minute drive because of whatever the hell they sprayed in there! My throat still hurts 3 hours later :( I pulled in there at 9:45, I was the 4th car in line & was about to turn around b/c it seemed like they were taking a LONG time to vacuum the SUV in the front of the line. I figured that meant they were very thorough. Cut to 30 minutes later and my car was JUST being vacuumed!! WTF. I counted the guys working - 2 up front writing tickets & vacuuming & 3 drying. In any case, my car was nicely cleaned (hence 3 stars) at the end of my almost hour long car wash excursion. But I will say, that my favorite car wash over on Tampa by the Costco does this type of job same price, in half the time :) read more

I brought my vehicle here and my chair was folded so rough that it broke, leaving me reclined all the way back. The manager then denied any responsibility and said he would fix it if it wasn't such an "old car." My vehicle is 18 years old with only 48k miles on it, I take excellent care of it. After arguing back and forth management told me to find someone who would fix it and they would try to help me out but did not accept responsibility. Having had worked at a carwash when I was younger, this is the most unprofessional business place I've been to in the valley. 2 stars because the workers are great and hard-working but the management sucks. Guess it's a hit or miss with this place. I brought my car here a couple of months ago and paid for the basic wash which was crap! I could've done a better job myself. Brought it back this past weekend though and purchased the $22 wash (waaayyy too expensive in my opinion but whatever) and told the guy about my last experience, and they did a great job this time. It was actually worth the almost $30 wash. I felt bad for the poor guys working in the 104 degree valley heat, but was very grateful that they did such a great job with my car! Btw, they don't spray the cars with air freshener, they use those little scented pads instead so if the scent is too strong for you, simply throw them out. Also they usually do tend to take a ridiculously long time but it wasn't bad at all this past weekend. They did it in almost half the time and they were really busy. read more

WORST CAR WASH EVER! If you can even call a spray down a car-wash. I would leave a minus rating if there was an option. Spread the word... Stay away! Went to get a wash... all I was left with was disappointment, aggravation, less cash, extra work and lost time. I had not known they where under new ownership and had made changes... for the worst. I asked for a basic wash, What used to be $9 was now $20+. I did not know this till I went in to pay. I told them that is ridiculous, that I was only willing to pay the old fee. If they had not started I would have left, already, the poor customer service had left a sour taste. They offered me "Their" $9 wash but did not disclose what it entailed. They basically put water on my car and left it out to air dry. I was shocked! I gave the guy a $1 tip just because I felt bad for him. NO Vacuum NO Window Cleaning NO Soap NO Wipe Down I spoke to the manager and expressed my exasperation. In response he divulged that there was a place up the street that I could vacuum my car myself. Upon investing another $2 down the street at the self vac I discovered dirty water in my door, trunk and bottom portion of the car. They did not even bother to open the doors and there were several spots where bird feces was left behind. By this point I was irate. I drove back to the car wash and spoke to the person in charge, Told him of the poor experience I had at his establishment and insisted that if they could not do their jobs respectfully they can at least give me a towel so I take care of it my self. Instead of a polite remark or courteous gesture... I was handed a towel. I don't live in the area, I used to get my oil changed around the corner and would stop by for a wash after. Back then I owned my car, now that I lease my maintenance is covered. The only reason i like coming here is because its close to my house for days when i need a quick wash and i don't have time to go anywhere else.. Having the gasoline station right next door, the laundry mat, and starbucks makes it a bit more worth your while if you need to stop by thise places or do two things at once. They do take a while to finish and i always find water spots where they didn't pass the towel. Its $11 for a basic wash (inside and out +vacuum). I'm giving an average rating because sometimes they clean thoroughly sometimes they don't. The price is relatively cheap/average for the service you get (meaning car wash). I go to the one on Devonshire and reseda as well and pay about the same, with the same issue. I think it just depends on who's cleaning your car. Also, if you go earlier/right when a car wash opens, they tend to do a better job because they're not as tired yet/as busy yet that they can take their time. Mostly the lack of cleaning has to do with wiping down the inside, but that doesn't bother me too much as I can do it myself, and I'm honestly paying them personally more to clean the outside. read more

Disappointing, for $22 you get the Ultimate Wash. They only wipe down your interior, no effort to make it look cleaned. They forgot to treat my tires, so I had ask them to finish the job. The hood was not cleaned properly; below average attempt at car washing. Total time to get my car washed was 40 minutes. Too long for the result. If it looked great, I would not mind waiting. The staff is aloof, with no smiles or greeting. The guy at the register was rude at best. I won't be going back. I had my car washed here and it i still had water marks and spots on my black car!!! I asked if they can wipe it down and he started yelling at me saying it didn't look bad at all. I went here last summer. While drying my car the worker accidentally locked my keys (house & car) inside. I didn't have AAA and the owner blamed my car saying "you know these new cars, it locked by itself." He refused to take responsibility and blew me off. I was left stranded in 102° heat with my children for 2 hours. After arguing with him for almost that whole time, he brought out a thick pole and started to pry my door back to "unlock it". I stopped him and said if he caused damage to my doorframe he would be liable. He stopped, cursed at me and walked away. The worker felt bad and offered to pay for AAA himself. These people are crooks and may even be running a scam. I will never patronize this car wash again and would never recommend it to anyone. Bottom line is that my smart keyless remote, which is an expensive part that can be reprogrammed and resold, was stolen from the car and the owner would not replace it. Here's the story... I brought my new car to Stoney Point Car Wash for a wash and wax on Saturday of last week. My new car HAD a smart remote key to start the car. After waiting almost an hour and a half the workers finally finished washing and waxing my car for $35, which did not include cleaning the inside or doing the wheels. At this point, the "owner", whose name is Aaron, came to me and said that there was a "small" problem with my car. I asked him what he was talking about and he said that he couldn't find the smart remote key for the car. I replied that this is no "small" problem. It's a BIG problem because I can't start or drive the car without it! (My son had to bring me my spare key to drive my car home.) The owner assured me that he would find the key and that if he couldn't find it he'd replace it. He even shook my hand over his assurances. He explained to me that he thought it was possible that one of his disgruntled employees may have taken it. He said that these remotes can be reprogrammed and sold - bingo! I called him back later the day of this incident and he said he couldn't reach his disgruntled employee. I called him back twice again the next day but he didn't return my calls. On Monday I contacted the dealership where I purchased the car and asked for quotes for the cost of the remote. They cost upwards of $400, not including the programming which is another $100 and change. I took these quotes to Aaron a couple days later to show him but he didn't want anything to do with the information. He said he'd get back to me in a few days. At this point, I knew he wasn't intending to replace the key. I came back later that same day with my husband to ask again and suggest that we purchase one from the internet that would be less expensive but as I guessed Aaron said that he was not going to pay for a new key. Consequently, I filed a police report and will take further action so that he doesn't do this to others. Beware. read more

Brought my old beat up 95 Blazer. Hadn't had a thorough wash in years, especially inside. Years-old stains,smells and embedded dirt. They had their work cut out. I got a regular wash on the outside and had the carpets and seats shampooed and cleaned. THEY STRAIT POLISHED A TERD INTO A GEM! The outside looks great for just a wash. The inside was transformed. I can't say new, it's 23 years old and worn as such but, very clean, with attention to detail. Stains disappeared,smells clean, nooks and crannies and dust wiped clean, dirt vacuumed. Took 4 hrs but, it was worth the rejuvenation. Great customer service (although it wasn't busy when I was there). I'll be back and will recommend to others. read more

I went there today. When I dropped off my car it was in perfect condition. When I picked it up, the drivers door was damaged and they said it was already that way. It makes a loud noise when I open it because the door rubs against the front part of the car. I am extremely upset and more so because they said they are not responsible for this type of damage. They are trying to convince me that the damage was already there when I know it was not. They will be hearing from my lawyer...if I have to be miserable and deal with this headache so will they. Never going there again, and advise for anyone else to look elsewhere to avoid the headache and the additional expense that I will need to incur due to their negligence.
