Local retail seems to be becoming less and less. All Seasons at Ari's Treasures in Setauket epitomizes what a local retailer should be. The owners, Jeff and Monica Aston are natives to the Setauket area and are a pleasure to deal with. I have been shopping there for several years and I feel that they really keep in tune with the changing needs of the community. Their inventory reflects the quaint, beachy vibe of our beautiful hamlet on the North Shore of Long Island. I purchased everything from beautiful window candles which are on year-round in my house, to soothing chimes. Most recently, my husband and I enlisted Jeff to do a beautiful custom sign for our son's wedding. We couldn't be happier with the result and cannot wait to give the kids the sign in three weeks.

The team at Schwabs is knowledgeable, patient, informative and professional. They never let you leave until you have footwear that fits well and is appropriate for the conditions unique to each customer. They have custom ordered sneakers for me that upon arrival were not conducive to my needs or interests and never flinch if I ask to try a different product. My last 3 experiences, Claire has been the person working most closely with me. She is a superstar! After two visits, trying on MULTIPLE style sneakers in various sizes, she and her teammate got me fitted into a pair of Ghost Max 3. They fit amazingly well out of the box and are comfortable even with my custom orthotics inserted. Then, for the first time , we stopped here at Schwab's 2nd Wind in Setauket, a small storefront shop behind Stop and Shop. What a find. He had exactly the Hoka shoe we were looking for and my wife was so impressed with the "old fashioned " personal service of having the shoes removed from the box and personally handed to her. The icing on the cake? The price at this small store was LOWER than the big mall store.
