Normally I shun places that only offer up medium well burgers, but I made an exception due to the novelty of their menu. I also suspect their burgers would be juicy even without the fillings. Big, too! Neither my husband nor I were able to finish our burgers and the mountains of curly fries that accompanied them so we both saved half for later. I tried the Krazy!, which is stuffed with mac 'n cheese. I was anticipating a messy burger, but it actually holds together very well. And it tastes great. No additional condiments needed. My husband built his own burger with Gouda cheese, red peppers, and caramelized onions. He had a Bud because they were on tap for $1. I had an EBC Blueberry, to which they added fresh blueberries. They also have a bar, and a wine list, including some from Flights of Five, which has its own space in the same building. You could plan quite the date night with dinner here, a wine tasting at Flights of Five, and a movie or play at the Palace Theatre up the road. The restaurant is very open and casual yet classy. My mom and I were surprised by this place. We went on a cold Sunday in December. It was decorated so cute inside. We were greeted by a lovely gal who sat up and brought us pretzels. A few friends and I stopped in and found two issues since our previous visit months earlier: All their hamburgers are stuffed. All our orders were overcooked, two to a bland crisp. Except for the fillings, one of which one friend and I ordered with our order: bacon. The sweet potato waffle fries were okay, if a bit drenched ("tossed") in syrup. My Bloody Mary was equally bland until I dressed it up with salt, pepper and hot sauce. The wings, however, were excellent. Cooked well, sauced just right and juicy and tender inside. The service was great. Our server was very pleasant, helpful, efficient, checking in with us exactly when she should. I'm guessing the cook staff changed between our visits. My family and I always order food out and love it! We sometimes order it time to time. Having something big and filling up our cravings. Even making sure it meets vegan's diet or allowing us to alternate something if we don't want that one. They're great with accommodating. However, there seems to be a couple issues we noticed and should be no excuses. The first time was some kind of missed a meal and charged for something twice. One was Lil finger order and one regular chicken sandwich. Yet... One meal was missing and it was one regular chicken sandwich. I returned to get the missing meal and I tried my best to explain that we don't have the chicken meal and the only thing they could do is cut the prices down. Like why pay again for something I didn't have? I figured it was Friday and they were busy. Figured one time error. So let it slide. Today (Saturday October 24th) ordered in three meals. One Krazy and two lil burgers. Only to find out they were undercooked and raw looking. Really Pink looking. Not safe and it's the child's meal burger. Great food! I ate stuffed chicken parmigiana burger when I say it was stuffed it had spaghetti, marinara sauce the works I could only eat half of it my my! The curly fries were good too. We started with some draft beers & pretzels (love this touch), as well as some medium wings. At the end of the night, we agreed that these were arguably the best wings we have had here in Buffalo - meaty, juicy, crispy, saucy, just incredible! Next up, we had the Banana Pepper Mac (because we trust Liz!) and it was truly melty, cheesy, goodness in our mouths. Make sure you order it. And what left us feeling absolutely stuffed was the Build-Your-Own Stuffed Burger - house blend meat on a brioche bun stuffed with cheddar, tomatoes, pickles along with a side of garlic aioli and curly fries. I Went to dinner at Stooges in Lockport today. Pretty let down by the food and the cost. My fiancé had a stuffed burger with cheese and bacon and said the bacon was pretty much raw and chewy. My son had the chicken fingers which tasted more like fish than chicken. I had the sweet potato fries.. which were by far the most tasty thing, except the description states they are tossed in honey for $9 and when I got the bill, not only was I charged the $9 but also an additional $2 for honey! My fiancé ordered a side of mayo and was charged extra for that as well. The bill before tip was $75. $22 for a burger that wasn't even properly cooked is ridiculous!! I will not be returning. Was disappointed our first time there. Waited 1.5 hours for food. People seated 40 minutes after us got food before we did. Waitress was apologetic and polite, said she would take 50% off our bill. I don't have it often because their meals are so rich and filling but the couple times a year I do have a meal there, I always leave wobbling, top heavy and satisfied. :-) Last week I had their burger stuffed with onion, pickle, and cheddar with curly fries on the side. My husband had "The Mike," an inside out stuffed pepper sausage sandwich. We both loved our meals and ate until we hurt. We are not about dining out in a Covid world and Stooges staff was very accommodating, allowing us to call ahead and order, pay over the phone, and do a contactless curbside pickup. Burgers stuffed with cheese?! I'm in! I've been to Stooges twice since it opened and need to go back to try more of their creations! It's in the old City Hall of Lockport and is attached to Flight of Five winery so if you like you can start with wine then head to the front for a burger or vice versa. In my opinion you can't go wrong with that. They also serve beer, wine and cocktails there that you can try as well. You can get a stuffed burger, chicken burger or a sausage burger. You can even make your own if that strikes your fancy. They also have weekly specials you are able to try. The first time I went I got the burger stuffed with their mac cheese which was ok but they have better options that i would rather have. The second time I got the sausage burger stuffed with cherry peppers, spicy capicola and gouda cheese. It was so good and just the right amount of spicy! The gouda cheese was the perfect cheese to pair this with-very creamy and didn't overpower the burger. I would get this again. I also love that they partnered with another local business, Scapalettis, for their sausage that they use in their burgers. Got to love the local restaurants! read more

This was my first visit and I struggled to decide but landed on the stuffed turkey burger special. The burger was stuffed with mashed potatoes, a little bit of stuffing and a touch of cranberry sauce. Then it was topped with some cranberry aioli. For the roll, there are many bread choices so I chose brioche. It was a perfect choice. Then came the option for curly fries or sweet potato waffle fries. At first I was confused why the sweet potato fries were shiny but soon experienced a perfectly crisp sweet honey coated waffle fry. My husband ordered a custom stuffed burger so our discussion soon moved to wondering how they stuffed the burgers while still making every single ingredient the perfect temp and taste. There are a couple of things that make this place unique: They give the table pretzel rods as your bar snack and your silverware in a mason jar! The napkin/paper towel dispenser is fun and convenient with an old school CD attached to the top and the CD is different at every table. It's pretty easy to rip a napkin off. They leave index cards at your table so you can make suggestions for things to add to the Krazy Mac & Cheese. The employees vote and every week they do a different one. I added a photo of our suggestions. They also offer USB ports so you can charge your phone! NOW, for the FOOD. I got The Krazy burger. It's stuffed with Mac & Cheese and has their Krazy sauce on top. It was amazing!! The burger was cooked perfect and was juicy, but not too much. I like that you can build your own stuffed burger! The sweet potato waffle fries are amazing! They poor a butter/honey mix right on top and it's oh so yummy! The pickle that comes with your meal is also yummy! I also had the "Darn Good" (basic) Mac & Cheese. It was ok. I feel like it was missing an additional cheese or an herb or maybe even some crumbs on top to add more flavor. My only complaint is they have NO dessert which is truly blasphemous!! We were there tonight for my wife's birthday dinner (her choice). It was our first time and we LOVED it! The burgers are cooked perfectly and there are so many great choices on the menu. And if you don't see what you want from the choices they have - you can create your own stuffed burger. The service was friendly and attentive. I'm not entirely sure where to start with my experience at Stooges. To quote my boyfriend "that was some bomb a** food!" I guess I was completely confused when they say it's a stuffed burger place. If you don't like burgers (like me) there's two other options of food that you can stuff, sausage and chicken. Maybe it's just the slight blonde that I have in my hair, but I was thinking that it's a chicken sandwich with all the things I wanted on top of it. Because in my mind, how on earth do you stuff a chicken?! Oh boy was I completely wrong! And trust me, I am so glad I was wrong! I picked the "I wanna pick my own 'Stooge'" and filled my chicken with cheese, bacon, and onions, and oh my gosh, I've never been so confused and satisfied in a meal before. I was completely blown away by how great the food was. I mean you can literally taste how fresh every ingredient was! My boyfriend had the "The Sticky" and was so in love with his meal as well. He ordered the sweet potato fries, and I tried one.. now I don't like sweet potato fries at all. I ordered a side to go, that's how amazing they were! They glaze their fries with a honey blend, literally so delicious. The food always comes out within a reasonable time. The food is cooked to perfection every time. I give them an A++ for their continued creativity. They are always coming up with new specials. The food portions are very generous. One meal is enough for two meals in my opinion. The prices are set perfectly. You can tell that this restaurant takes pride in what they do. The new place in town offers stuffed burgers and mac & cheese....two of my favorite things, so I had to try it out. So glad I did. Both were amazing! My boyfriend had the deviled eggs for an appetizer and I had the breaded balls (mac & cheese balls). He said the eggs were a little rubbery, like they had been in the fridge too long, but those balls were so good. Creamy homemade mac & cheese in delicious breading and deep fried....not greasy at all. The burgers were very tasty. He had "The Sticky", a burger stuffed with peanut butter and bourbon bacon jam. I had "The Mini Cuz", a burger stuffed with extra bacon and extra American cheese. Both were yummy. The atmosphere was nice (full bar too) and the service was excellent. Our friends wanted to try something new and different, so my wife and I decided to take them here. We heard great things about the food, and who can resist a stuffed burger? We have been to this location for Flight of 5 winery, and we were excited to try the stuffed burger restaurant. The ambience is great, they have a bar, and a lot of tables, however they are kind of close together and will cause some issues if you need to put on your coat or move a certain way. Otherwise the menu is solid, and the food is delicious. My wife and I shared the fried pickles, our friends had the classic breaded mac n cheese balls. The breading on the fried pickles was delicious, I did not try the dipping sauce but my wife liked it. The true delicious part of the meal was my stuffed burger. I ordered the Sticky and to take crunchy Jiffy peanut butter, bourbon jam, caramelized onions and put it in a burger and on the bun, it was amazing. They also have sweet potato waffle fries which I have never had before and they were delicious. I stole some of my wife's classic Mac n cheese and it was really creamy and delicious. I recommend this restaurant as the price of $13 for a good sized stuffed burger and fries is fantastic! We will be back again! read more
