Very cute and quaint restaurant on a shopping strip with a cool chill vibe. If youre traveling alone (or with someone else) and need somewhere to sit and be with yourself in a relaxing and calm atmosphere, stop by Stop & Taste. A welcoming host and the food is very good!!

Cute little spot in the cut. It's very unassuming but has great appeal. I had a vanilla late and French toast. The late was tasty and the French toast was excellent! We sat by the window and enjoyed a delightful breakfast. I highly recommend this place for breakfast!!

Cozy breakfast spot near Ocean Park. We came in around 10am and snagged the last table. It seemed a bit hectic since only one guy was running the cashier/taking orders/bringing out food/making coffees, so it was a bit slow. My iced latte was yummy, and the oatmeal was some of the best I ever had. The yogurt parfait was fresh and tasty, but pretty small.

I really have to give a shout out to this place for having a truly fantastic vanilla latte-- the vanilla just blended seamlessly into the coffee, the flavor wasn't overwhelming at all, it was the perfect sweetness, and the entire drink was so creamy and smooth. Highly recommend. Cappuccino and hot chocolate are good as well. Otherwise it serves pretty standard breakfast food. Staff are very friendly, no complaints.

Eggs cheese & ham with toast. Iced vanilla latte.

AMBIANCE Parking: Old San Juan rules--come early or be ready to walk. Seating: Multiple seating areas for individuals and small groups but it's also a cafe too so there is seating in the back too. Vibes: Clean, modern café with a mix of locals and tourists. You can tell people come here for the coffee, not just to pass through. It leans more intentional and coffee-focused rather than just aesthetic--which I appreciated. FOOD / DRINKS Coquito Frap (Recommend) When in Puerto Rico, Coquito. Creamy, coconut-forward, and lightly spiced--like a frozen coquito with a coffee twist. Sweet, smooth, and definitely more of a dessert drink than a regular latte. CUSTOMER SERVICE Friendly and efficient. Even with a crowd, things moved quickly. TL;DR OVERALL 4.5 Stars. Solid spot. Great drink options at a reasonable price. They know what they're doing. Whether you're a coffee person or just need a reset, this place delivers. Salute to the Munoz family for sharing their coffee to the world! TIPS * Try their house coffee if you want the full experience--that's what they're known for.

We loved it so much we actually went twice during our trip - and even made a final stop before heading to the airport to go home. On our first visit, Hector (the roaster) happened to be there, which made the experience feel even more special. The staff overall were all so kind and attentive. The coffee is absolutely excellent - velvety smooth, rich, and delicious. I could easily drink more than one cup. I had a latte, and my husband had a macchiato, and both were great. They have a cute little outdoor atrium seating area, but we preferred indoors where all the comfy pillow seating was. Just a note - they don't offer decaf - but for regular coffee drinkers, it's a must-visit. Such a gem in Old San Juan!

I've bought them at the grocery store for my mother over the years when I couldn't find Menier. I was hoping to see some unique desserts at Chocobar Cortés. Let's just say that the chocobar at this location was not what I was expecting. It's like an express version of their original one in Old San Juan. This is located in the lobby of the Condado Palm Hotel. There are 2 entrances. Don't make the same mistake we did by trying to access at street level. That door is locked. You'll need to enter through the hotel lobby. The service is very slow here. There was only one other person there. We ordered a box of 6 chocolates and payed for it. I'm guessing he was making a drink for the other guest because he asked us to wait a few minutes. It ended up being longer so he told his colleague (who just came back from a break) to make up the chocolate box for us. Unfortunately, it took even longer as this other guy was more interested in the 2 young girls who just walked in. The chocolate bonbons were good, but nothing unique. It's the same artisan chocolates that you see everywhere for the same high price. Perhaps this location is better for their specialty cocktails in the evening time. I was looking forward to trying the choco-latte at some point. I doubt there will be a next time.
