The service was good experience, nice and simple. But food was so good you'll want to order it twice, can definitely feed two people. No food was skimmed out in the process like Chipotle.

Their Greek fries are sooooo good!

Stopped in to try them the other week. Ordered the Gyro sandwich and Greek fries. Both were very good but the Greek fries were AMAZING! I could add Gyro meat and eat them as a meal (I think they have that on the menu). The guy who made my order was extremely nice and generous with all the toppings and meat. I will 100% be back!

Gyro sandwich (no onions) (YUM) with salad(fries are an option) & some baklava.

We are so glad to have a gyro place in town. The lamb gyro was great & filling! The salad was good too but wished it had Kalamata olives rather than black olives. Toppings were fresh! You can choose between the salad or fries as your side! Staff were very friendly. Go support them!

This place was fantastic. That was absolutely the best Gryro i've ever eaten, and I've eaten them all over the country. Highly recommend.

Looking for something new to try in north Dallas we stumbled upon Platia Greek Kouzina in Frisco…read morejust across for the Stonebriar mall. Given it was 12:30pm we were happy to see this place was quite full but still had a table for the 2 of us inside. There is a terrace which might be an option for our next visit. Yea you read that right, we will definitely be back. For lunch we ordered the octopus appetizer which was nice a tender, perfectly grilled and simply served with the most perfect vinaigrette. Nothing more than a little squeeze of lemon over it and you could have brought me a dozen more. But we had to save room for our mains. I chose the gyros salad and my wife the baked haddock with Greek potatoes and string beans. Both dishes were perfect. Not too fancy and just what the doctor ordered. Overheard several tables around us that they were repeat customers so we must have stumbled on to something good. So if you are thinking Greek, check this place out. You won't be disappointed

We enjoyed Platia tonight! I haven't had much Greek food, so it was a fun experience trying…read moresomething different. I ordered the Pastitsio with potatoes and gigantes. The main dish just wasn't my favorite, but it wasn't because it wasn't well made, it was more of a texture preference for me. The potatoes were a little overcooked for my liking, although a friend at our table said his were great. I did, however, love the gigantes! Our table also shared the Trio of Dips (tirokafteri, hummus, and skordalia), the moussaka, the Brazilian steak, and the Aegean stuffed pepper. The tirokafteri and hummus were both delicious. The skordalia wasn't for me, but that's simply because it's essentially a chilled potato dip, not a reflection of the restaurant. The Brazilian steak was fantastic, great flavor and cooked perfectly. The stuffed pepper and moussaka also got a thumbs-up from our group. I believe our server's name was Uli, and he was good. He took the time to explain several dishes. Greek food probably isn't at the top of my personal favorites list, but this one was ok.

The name has changed! The restaurant is now called Babel, but they're still offering a cafeteria…read morestyle Mediterranean menu. I came here for a friend's engagement party. The varied menu and the price point were just right. You pick up a cafeteria tray and point to what you'd like. I opted for the 6 item veggie plate. Portions were very filling! I tried a rocket salad, pita bread, beet salad, lentil soup, hummus and chickpea salad. In other words, a feast!! The food was very good. I also opted for a Diet Pepsi and a baklava. The salads were crispy and delicious - I loved the vinaigrette dressing which was perfectly tart. I wish I'd tried the coffee with my dessert - the baklava was a bit dry. I wish they'd opened a private side room for our party. Our table felt a bit cramped and it was a challenge to scoot into the very long booth seat which was closed off where they pushed tables together. On the whole, a really nice place and I'd definitely return!

A while back I went and the vegetable combo had gone up to $20! Now it's back down to $16 so I'm back. The food is as good as ever. Homemade everything. Two versions of hummus, regular and spicy, and both are delicious! Tatziki, tabouli and garbanzo salad as well as stuffed grape leaves, chicken and beet salad. And hot sides are also available on the veggie plate! Rice pilaf, roasted cauliflower, eggplant and several more. The cauliflower was amazing! If you get a meat they have many but the tenderloin kabab ("beef kabab"") was a huge hit at my table. Cooked to perfection on the charcoal grill. Just fabulous. They've got shwarma, gyro sandwiches and even more delicious meats and the freshest vegetables. The pita bread is fresh from the oven- a steaming hot pillow of goodness. They have several types of canned and bottled drinks including yogurt drink and San Pelligrino, a couple of iced teas, lemonade and various fountain drink choices. No alcohol here. If you have never been, go and if you've been, go back because it's definitely worth the visit. It is a great place to enjoy tasty homemade Lebanese, Mediterranean and Greek food. Oh! One final note: the staff is friendly and welcoming. I felt so comfortable and relaxed because they really make you feel at home .
