Cute little cafe! There's plenty of parking. There's seating inside and outside. They have a great menu selection. Service was okay... I decided to try the regular matcha latte with oat milk, which is not sweetened. I wish I would've known as I usually do like it with vanilla or simple syrup! Regardless, the matcha was of great quality, it was refreshing. Next time I'd definitely come and try one of their coffees! They look delicious. My friend got the strawberry matcha which she liked!

First time here, and definitely won't be the last. I came here looking for a place to study with some good coffee, and the Biscoff latte was really good and gave me excellent fuel. The service was inviting and my drink came out in under a few minutes. The place is nice and cozy and had many outlets for charging.

Saw this place on TikTok and had to give it a try! I ordered the Toffee Nut Latte, the Cookie Butter Latte, and the banana pudding. Both lattes were excellent, with the perfect amount of sweetness and a great coffee flavor. They were not overly milky, and everything felt really balanced. My favorite was the Toffee Nut Latte. I loved the toffee nut topping because it added the perfect crunch and extra flavor, making every sip a little treat. The banana pudding was also delicious! It was light, airy, and not overly sweet, which made it easy to enjoy without feeling too heavy. If I were in the area again, I would definitely come back. My only critique is that the menu did not seem to reflect their full offerings. I originally saw the Toffee Nut Latte on TikTok, but it was not clearly listed on the menu, so I almost missed out on ordering it. Definitely worth checking out if you are in the area!

Great coffee shop! A little limited for seating, however, still a great spot. Cashier was polite and recommended the baklava; sooo tasty but a little pricey at $9 a piece. It was really good though! Ordered the pistachio latte with cold foam; coffee is very strong. A first a little too strong and bitter for my preference but as the ice and cold foam slowly dilute the coffee, the taste settles and is perfect! Overall, try this spot if you enjoy your coffee a little on the stronger side.

Stopped two days in a row after meaning to check it out for a while. Since it's a bit out of my way, I made sure to take full advantage. Janjoun, who was at the front both days, was welcoming. Not just to me, but to every customer who walked in. She's super sweet and helpful, offering recommendations tailored to what you usually enjoy. The Biscoff latte was delicious and perfectly balanced. It wasn't too sweet or cloying. I'm not sure what beans they use, but it made me jittery, something I've rarely experienced with other coffees. The tres leches cake was delicious as well. I had a few bites and saved the rest. It's bigger than it appears in the photos. Second visit, I tried the pistachio latte, Biscoff cheesecake, and a piece of baklava. The pistachio latte was fantastic. It had authentic pistachio flavor (not an artificial taste). I finished it before I even got home. The cheesecake and baklava were both divine. I shared them with my husband, and he loved them too. I was so happy to find fresh baklava in a café setting rather than a restaurant or pre-packaged.

Came on a Saturday around noon. It wasn't packed but it wasn't empty. We ordered the banana pudding, Spanish latte and stories double! 10/10!! The Spanish latte tastes like an horchata latte, just a tad sweet but it was still good. The Stories double was good and strong! Will be coming back to try their other options. The baristas were also nice and greeted when we came in so that's a plus!!

I had a lovely experience at Stories Cafe (Whittier). I ordered the Pistachio Latte ($8 - Iced). This coffee tasted like a fresh creamy pistachio! I felt myself smile as I greedily sipped. It's TASTY! I arrived at Stories Cafe (Whittier) on Thursday (around 11:37AM). Parking is easy. The lot is very big. Staff is professional, knowledgeable, and hard working. Staff provided wonderful recommendations, and Staff eagerly answered my questions. My drink took one minute and 40 seconds. Very fast! As mentioned, I love the Pistachio Latte ($8 - Iced). It carries a creamy pistachio flavor that tasted natural and fresh. I felt awake after sipping. It masterfully balances utility and flavor. I couldn't hide my happiness as I continued to laugh aloud. I'm so happy that this location's exceptional reputation is well-earned. Regarding ambiance, Stories Cafe (Whittier) is clean, well-ventilated, and comfortable. The ceiling is very tall, so it felt very spacious. There's two very long counters with many chairs, and there's three tables. Stories Cafe (Whittier) also has utility. There's four available electrical outlets (some embedded in the counter); there's even slots for usb cables. There's also customer internet with password; its info is very visible since there's several mini internet signs on its tables. There's also a gender neutral restroom. And there's a small water station in the corner. The instrumental music is also very soothing. Overall, I had a delightful experience at Stories Cafe (Whittier). I'm so happy that the hype is real. If you love coffee, this is a must-try. 5 out of 5 "GO."

Absolutely blown away about this small cafe. Wonderful service from the owner and very lovely people. The dessert here are so good and have so much flavor. Very rich and very sweet and wonderful coffee as well. The banana pudding and the Dubai cake were spectacular. Also got a tiramisu brownie and it was so delicious. Loved coming here and will be coming back often.

After a tough loss in my Sunday league soccer match I was feeling down and decided I needed coffee. I saw this place was a quick 5 minute drive, so I headed over instantly. I ordered the Stories Double Iced Latte and man did it deliver. For those who love the bitterness of coffee and like it strong, I highly recommend this drink. There are also other sweeter options but in this case I was in need of a quicker picker upper drink. The espresso shots instantly hit a dopamine surge in my brain that made me forget the tough soccer game loss I experienced earlier that morning. Previously feeling down, all of sudden my moral boosted as I was sipping on this Stories Double Iced Latte. They also have a Biscoff latte in which I was very tempted to try. Maybe next time i visit this place I will order this drink. Parking situation is very easy as they have plenty of parking spots in the plaza. Could get busy but baristas are quick with orders, making lines go by fast. Restrooms are clean and overall space inside is well maintained with great AC for those hot sunny days. They also have free wifi. I could see myself working remotely here in the future, however I am concerned that it may be tight inside as the space inside this cafe is limited.

This café is such a vibe. Cozy, aesthetic, and a great place to hang out. We tried the Stories double latte, toffee nut latte, and banana crème matcha, and every drink was so good. The flavors were on point and not too sweet, which I really appreciated. The banana crème matcha was surprisingly one of my favorites. For pastries, we had the Dubai chocolate croissant and the Dubai chocolate-covered strawberry cup, and wow. If you love chocolate, you'll love these. Super rich, indulgent, and perfect to share. The staff was really nice and helpful, and the whole place just feels warm and welcoming. It's the kind of spot you can sit at for a while without feeling rushed. Definitely adding this to our regular coffee rotation.

I came here with a friend who was raving about how great this coffee cafe is. It's small, aesthetically pleasing, and only has a handful of two-top tables along a wall as well as a couple outdoor tables. They offer a variety of coffee drinks and a spectacular pastry case full of goodies. I ordered a Spanish latte while my friend got a dulce de leche latte. I also got a couple of pastries - a chocolate chip muffin and an apple danish. It was a cool, fresh morning so we decided to sit outside where our orders were kindly brought to us. The Spanish latte had a wonderful, mixed cinnamon and mocha flavor. I had multiple sips (more than I should have) of my friend's dulce de leche latte, which was sweet with a deep caramel taste. Both were excellent. The muffin was fresh and full of chocolate chips while the apple danish was incredible, soft & fresh with multiple thin apple slices on top of some sort of cream filling. As an aside, I was impressed with how squeaky clean the restroom was.

Amazing!! So happy this Yemini coffee is in Whittier. I don't have to drive to Fullerton. If you love pistachio you have to get the pistachio latte and wash it down with an almond croissant. The best place to enjoy great coffee and pastries. read more

Tried this place for the second time and it did not fail me!! Staff is always friendly and super helpful with customizing my drink. I've had their matcha latte and it is a tad bit strong in flavor but still sooo good. I recently got the crème brûlée latte and IT HIT THE SPOT. It's a strong bold flavor but the sweetness is actually a 6/10. Also, try their pastries! The cinnamon roll was delicious and they even heat it up for you too!! Definitely gonna be my go to coffee spot from now on! read more

Friendly service and delicious!! I had the Pistachio Oat Latte and it was creamy and smooth. I've had very strong Turkish coffee but this was not as strong. We had the Dubai chocolate Tres leches, Cookie Butter Cheese cake, and Dubai Chocolate Cheesecake... all of which melted in our mouths! We will be back!!! read more

Been here twice and wish I lived closer to come more often! The drive is worth it though! Both times I've been, I've ordered the Stories latte, which is a double shot latter with espresso cold foam (if I recall correctly). It's rich in flavor, strong, and my favorite drink so far! I also tried their pistachio latte with lactose free cow milk, and is DELICIOUS! I avoid ordering pistachio flavored lattes because most I've tried taste like alcohol from premade syrups. Stories Cafe's pistachio latte is the best I've ever tried, is a beautiful green color, and actually tastes like pistachio! Their pastry case is stocked and they have baklava!! I bought a piece for my mom who loves baklava, and she finished it so fast that I didn't have a chance at trying it . They also had a delicious chocolate cake in stock last time, an today it was a red velvet cake. I also saw a sign about a Dubai chocolate croissant, so I'll check that out next time. The cafe is clean and the employees are helpful. There are tables to sit (table outside, too), and I think there are outlets. Maybe the menu could use a bit more detail regarding some latte details (like the Stories latte) and milk alternatives, but the staff are very friendly and helpful! Don't be afraid to ask any questions :3 I'd include photos of the lattes I've bought, but we drank them too fast to be able to do it lol. I also feel the need to reiterate that they have lactose free cow milk. My cousin is visiting from Mexico and we've struggled to find spot in SGV & OC that has lactose free milk that isn't oat/almond/soy because these alternatives still bother her stomach. Apparently most (if not all) Mexican cafes have milk with lactase, so she was surprised to find that it's not an option here. Stories cafe is the first coffee shop I've found with this milk alt, and I've been to dozens in SFV, SGV, OC, and the IE. I hope this review can help others looking for a coffee spot with great coffee, friendly staff, a variety of delicious pastries, and lactose free cow milk! Me, my husband, and toddler went there today for the first time and initially liked the aesthetic of the place, very clean and comfortable. We ordered a pistachio iced latte with cold foam and a vanilla one. Both were tasty, we liked the pistachio one the best. We first complemented the espresso, very smooth and delicious. You can tell they take pride in their drinks. I also loved their customer service, the gentleman who took our order was very kind and even gave my daughter a free cookie, that was very sweet of him to do that. And the cookie was also very good. My daughter enjoyed some of it and you know toddlers don't eat much so us parents ate the rest of course haha. We will definitely be going back and next time I really want to try a matcha drink. read more

Love the coffee, but I work early and they are never open on time. I've been there already 4 times at 7 AM or I've sent an Uber eat delivery to pick it up at. They are always closed. They should really change the hours. It messes up my schedule, a whole lot. I really recommend they change their hours if they cannot get up early. read more

I called in because they messed up on my drink and got regular milk the drink I got was overly sweet on top of it. I spoke to Jenna the first time and she was really nice and accommodating she just didn't mention there was a time limit oh my drink compensation. I spoke to a different girl over the phone and she said she couldn't compensate my drink that they messed up. I understand policy but why wouldn't they let me know that when I called. The girl rudely hung up on me when I asked who I was speaking to and said "none of your business" then she calls back to offer me the drink and apologize saying her boss was speaking over her and that she was sorry. At this point its not even about the $10 drink. No free drink would get me to come back that is completely unacceptable when I was speaking to her politely saying I understood. read more

I don't usually leave reviews but I was really excited to try this place out since I heard alot of good things about it but the coffee was not great. I had a pistachio oatmilk latte and it tasted weak with a weird plastic flavor. I literally had to throw it all away. I also got a Biscoff latte with regular milk and that was okay I just feel like the coffee is not strong enough and honestly tasted like instant coffee it didnt have the freshly brewed espresso I look for. Overall I would not go back. read more

The vibe is really nice here, the service top noch...I got the carrot cake, and the Dubai chocolate bar with a coconut matcha ...I highly recommend stories caffe. I asked the nice lady about the letters in the wall, she explained that it means "in every cup of coffee there is a story behind it" hopefully I got it right. read more

This place never misses! My sisters and my mom also love the coffee and drinks. Not to mention the friendly staff, Moe the owner is always there ready to chat about his culture and discuss coffee. As the fall season approaches I'm excited to try their fall drinks. I highly recommend the biscof latte, pistachio latte and any matcha drink. The pastries are all amazing!! i've heard so many good things about this cafe so i finally made my way down to stories cafe to see the hype for myself! ...and let me tell you, this place is SOOOO GOOD! I got 3 beverages to try out and the rating for all of it is 100/10! The service was amazing and the location is beautiful! BTW: they have the best Strawberry Matcha! Tried this for the first time we ordered a strawberry matcha and a biscoff latte we had our baby with us and the woman working offered us a chocolate milk for him each of the drinks were a 10/10 very delicious!!! The store does have seating for you to enjoy your drink. The order was ready very quickly and they did answer a question we had about the drinks. For the actual drinks the latte we had was just ok. Nothing special. The kiwi drink is a unique offering but very sweet (was told it would be more sour & was looking forward to that flavor profile). Pricing is high for average drinks. read more

The cinnamon flavor was so flavorful with the ube. I could drink this every single day. That's how good it was. I also got a bagel which was jalapeno cheddar and they warmed it up. I added some cream cheese and it was a nice snack to have with my coffee. Every bite had cheese and jalapeño pieces. This place is worth trying. You will not regret it.

[Menu]: For the signature breakfast burrito, they actually have 6 options - classic breakfast burritos (bacon - $16.50), Prime Steak (grass-fed prime steak $20.50), the Ultimate Burrito (grass-fed prime steak + avocado + bacon), Chilaquiles ($15.50), Chorizo ($16.00), and Vegan ($16.00). They also sell their cold brew cafe de olla in giant plastic bags that look like IV drip bags at the refrigerated section. We recently visited Storys Cafe and had a great experience. The drinks and desserts were creative, flavorful, and definitely worth trying. The Biscoff Cookie Crumble coffee was delicious and packed with flavor. It had a strong coffee taste, but what made it unique was that every sip came with little cookie crumbs, adding texture and making it feel like a dessert and coffee all in one. The Peanut Butter Latte was another standout. It was rich, smooth, and incredibly tasty. As you drank it, you could actually get small pieces of peanut in each sip, which added a nice crunch and complemented the coffee perfectly. We also tried the Strawberry Matcha, which was well balanced. You could clearly taste the earthy matcha flavor while still enjoying the sweetness of the strawberry. Neither flavor overpowered the other. Storys Cafe also offers a great selection of pastries and desserts. We tried the banana pudding and the Tres Leches Dubai Chocolate dessert. My sister absolutely loved the banana pudding--it was so good that I practically had to fight her for a taste! Once I finally got some, I understood why she was guarding it. It was creamy, flavorful, and definitely one of the highlights of our visit. Overall, Storys Cafe offers unique drinks, delicious desserts, and plenty of pastry options. If you're looking for a café with creative flavors and treats worth sharing (or fighting over), Storys Cafe is definitely worth a visit. Their service was great. Very friendly helpful.
