We have been having intermittent issues opening and closing the garage door. We called Lakewood…read moreGarage Door and they sent out Ryan to see what was going on. He listened to the issues we were having and started to check the system. He quickly and efficiently determined that the connection in the logic board was flaky, (the vibration while opening/closing the door would cause a glitch and the opener would stop). He noted that when the connector was bumped or jostled the light would go out just as it did whilst operating the door. He explained the three options to resolve the issue (replace the logic board, replace the opener, or having us buy a new opener and he'd install it. All three options which presented a great value). He wasn't sure if they had a replacement logic board as the opener is 14 years old (Craftsman 1/2 HP). He disconnected the faulty one and went back to check. Fortunately they had a new replacement logic board, he called to see if it was convenient to come Back and install the new board for us He installed it efficiently and professionally. We reprogrammed the opener remotes and key pad. It is soooo nice to have an operational garage door opener again! Ryan continued working, even redressing the sensor wires to the opener (as when the garage door opener was installed the wires were just draped over them support hardware and looked like a rats nest), oiled the moving parts in the garage door (including spring) all after checking to see that the door moved easily and was balanced. Ryan help was fantastic, the service impeccable. The whole experience was smooth and time efficient! We highly recommend checking out Lakewood Garage Door!

I called their office at about 8 PM just to find out when they opened in the AM. I am very grateful to them and think that they a fine example of how effective small businesses can be.

Hello it is me yet again. If you are wondering if the fire alarm issue has been resolved? It is just horrendous. I am so sorry to my neighbors. I think someone in this building survives on the thrill of this fire alarm or maybe they have an obsessive crush on a firefighter? This place keeps Denver fire department in business. all jokes aside it takes away resources from our city's real emergencies plus it just riles everyone up around here. It's been going off for over 15 min and i'm staring at the building and not a soul bothers to go outside anymore. I hope there is never a real fire here. This management company should be sued into bankruptcy or just call it quits in my humble opinion. update, it just turned off after 37 minutes update 2, we're at round 5 of alarms today, it's 10:25pm. we had another 20 min in the 9 o clock hour too. Get it together pals it's bed time!!!!!

When we arrived, two people were sitting at their desks, apparently doing nothing besides surfing the Internet. No one else was waiting. We were told, by a large, sloppily-dressed man, that normally there was a 15-minute grace period, but we would have to reschedule. Daughter did make another appointment, for three days later, but signed a lease on the first apartment we saw instead. Good. Being treated shabbily by lazy on-site agents was NOT a good first impression. I'm glad that she chose somewhere else. I can only surmise that management might be as lazy and unresponsive as these agents. She wasn't terribly enthusiastic about the building, but liked the location. We obviously have no opinions on the apartments or management, since she wasn't able to view an apartment, much less sign a lease.

I am completely dissatisfied with my 2-10 warranty. The builder poorly engineered my interior…read morestairs, but I did not know about it until the carpet company came out to re-stretch the carpet to eliminate the bunching in the middle of the stairs. To re-stretch the carpet, it first has to be removed, and when it was removed, I couldn't believe my eyes. The stair treads didn't even come close to the drywall, and the treads had a gap that was double the height of my son's foot - so my son going up and down the stairs could easily get his foot trapped, or his hand/arm stuck in the stairs. At first 2-10 said they would re-open the warranty claim, and seemed like they were on my side. However, when the builder got involved, he told 2-10.com that the stairs were built to standard construction standards, and 2-10 concurred. They never sent a third-party to come take a look, despite informing them that it was a pinch hazard and it could break my son's foot. The builder said in a response to my review that they engineer gaps to allow for an "optional stair skirt". So they recognize the gaps are there, are refusing to admit liability for engineering stairs that appear to be unsafe. I simply can't believe that both (1) 2-10 and (2) my builder refuse to do anything. I think the reason is that it's just too costly for them. They have to remove the carpet, and effectively redo the whole stairway. Looking at about $1,500 in parts and labor, maybe more. Even though I can measure the gap, which is an inch on both sides on some stairs, they flat out refuse to admit liability. Just remember that with new home warranties, the BUILDER is the customer. Not you. The builder pays 2-10 for warranty coverage to eliminate some work and liability at their end. The warranty is NOT for the home owner. There may be some benefit, but builders could respond directly to home owners without 2-10. They do it because it saves them money so when they deny your request, you are on the hook for legal costs for arbitration. Just don't expect much. The customer service rep in this case, Joseph Lim, did a fantastic job talking to me, and describing the process. The problem is above him.

Lengthy venting here!…read more Three weeks of phone calls. Three weeks of excuses. Three weeks of being told to wait. We've been fighting with our home warranty company for over three weeks regarding our oven. Our oven was throwing error codes. The owner of the repair company asked me how old the unit was and I told him the stove was 25 years old. He said that replacement parts could not be found. We believed the unit would likely be replaced and so did the repair company. Then suddenly a "replacement part" was found and installed thanks to the corner cutting home warranty company (who found it). When the technician arrived, the replacement part looked old, rusted, and questionable. To be honest, it looked like it came from an appliance graveyard. We immediately complained because the oven still wasn't functioning properly. Features didn't work correctly, sounds were gone, and even the technician agreed the repair was unacceptable. On Saturday, while I was cooking, the oven flashed an E2-F3 error code. Less than a moment later, flames erupted inside the oven. Not smoke. Not a small spark. FLAMES. I was on the phone with my son, Tré, who kept telling me, "Mom, don't panic," while I yelled for my husband to come help. The flames shot out from both sides of the oven and nearly turned into a kitchen fire. My hubs had to extinguish the fire, and the appliance reignited twice more after it was unplugged. He even got his arm hair singed trying to keep our house from burning down. After our smoke detector went off ADT called and were dispatching firefighters to come out but by that time my husband was already moving the stove outside. Our eyes burned from the smoke. We had to put on masks and use damp cloths just to breathe while getting the appliance out of the house. This entire nightmare was preventable and we could've lost so much! We pay for premium coverage to protect our home, not to watch it nearly catch fire because corners were cut. For 25 years we've paid for top-tier coverage and have spent weeks trying to get this issue resolved. Instead of replacing a clearly aging appliance, a questionable repair was performed and we were put in danger. Heck, at this point, I would stop discussing it as a simple "stove claim" and start referring to it as a fire and safety incident that would've been avoided had they AT LEAST tested the part before installing! Thank the Good Lord we're safe. But this entire ordeal was preventable. People purchase home warranties for peace of mind, not fire drills in their own kitchens. I'm thankful my husband reacted quickly. I'm thankful my home is still standing. But we were beyond angry that it's taking an actual fire for this situation to be taken seriously, as we believe the warranty company will finally do what's right! 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty- Review and Accountability group...do better by your clients!

The job is for removal and replacement of soffits, fascia, gutters and downspouts on a 1-story ranch with 200 linear feet of gutters. In 2023 a woman came out, did the walk through and then sent me a quote with details about the materials, a cost breakdown for each part of the project - quantity and cost for removal of gutters, removal of downspouts, installation of gutters, installation of downspouts. It was very professional (I work with contractors and job bids for a living) and provided all the necessary details of the cost. In 2023 they refused to address the soffit and fascia so I declined to move forward with them. In 2025 a man came out, did the walk through and then insisted on setting up a follow up appointment to walk through the project quote. I did not receive the info packet ahead of time and was disappointed by what I received - a detailed project description for siding work (presumably for the soffits and fascia but the material was specific to siding installation which isn't relevant to either of those locations) with no scoped quote for any aspect of the project. There were no details of the materials to be used or breakdown of the cost specifics. The dollar amounts were hand written into a spec sheet of "good / better / best" (photo attached because I don't even know what to call it, it's definitely not a job quote). I understand that materials costs have changed significantly and the job might cost more today than two years ago, but if you're going to waste my time with a second meeting to quote the job, actually quote the job. So your experience with WestPro may entirely depend upon the person you randomly end up with as your project coordinator. Homeowner be wary. I'll update this review when I've heard back with legit quotes and decisions on a path forward. For now it's a very unimpressed meh.
