We went here after spending too long at the lake. Everything in town was closed (which drives me nuts about Chelan). We were pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. Very neat building with a cool ambience. Took the kids there and they were accommodating (quickly cleaned up the broken wine glass my son knocked off the table and replaced it almost before my wife knew it was gone!). The kids meals were pretty small but of good quality. The grown ups had salads that were good. My one complaint is that the beer was only so-so. Wow had such a great Sunday night football experience at stormy. The two ladies that worked there were so sweet and fun to talk with. The food was so yummy, I highly recommend the poutine, wings and potstickers. My sister also left her phone and they tracked us down and waited outside until we arrived. Went here after driving from Western Washington hoping to have a beer and some food. We were seated promptly but waited about ten minutes before we saw a waiter and they were not very busy. The waitress gets to my fiancé and I and asks to check our IDs and doesn't recognize the tree or American flag that was present on our IDs and refuses to give us beer because of it. We are both 25 with very valid, brand new IDs since we changed addresses recently. Was excited to eat there but staff are incompetent. read more

My family came here and we were ignored the entire time had to get up and find our waitress to have our waters filled. Our food took over 30 minutes to arrive. On top of the terrible service the food also very subpar. I ordered the smoked brisket French dip and it had one slice of brisket and some slimy barely cooked onions. Had dinner here Friday night while at the Fire and Ice Festival service was great and so was the food. Went back on Saturday Night sat down watched several tables get seated and waited on while we waited. Waiter came over could see we were not happy as we explained our frustration he quickly said "Thanks and have a good night". I was quite surprised that he was so quick to dismiss us. I went to find a manager as I felt it was hugely rude of the waiter. My friend went ahead of me to talk to the waiter told him he was lucky he didn't get his ass kicked. My friend didn't touch him or anything the guy threw himself on the ground and said he didn't want any trouble. The beer on tap, all from other breweries, were good (especially the amber from 12 String Brewery from Spokane). At least Chelan has a place to hang with craft beers. We were not impressed with this place. The service was okay, we seemed to have multiple people looking after us, but the food is bland and not very attractively presented. The prices seem good but I had the tacos and was still hungry after eating. My beer wasn't very good and my wife's iced tea tasted like it came from a tap. She had a SW salad. Very uninspiring. Okay the food was strange. I had the three taco thing with shrimp, brisket and beef chunks. After a couple bites I had open the taco to see which I was eating. It was the shrimp and had no taste. Squeezed the lone lime piece across it to try to wake it up. Then moved on to the brisket taco It also had no taste but waitress brought bottles of different types of barbecue sauce. It was weird but I put barbecue sauce on a taco. Did I mention that the tacos had feta cheese on them? Who puts feta cheese on a taco? My husband had the brat. I came for dinner with a group of friends. We ordered and shared the large sampler platters which had plenty of food. Of seven platters, two chicken quarters had enough red in them that we were afraid to eat them. I understand that smoked chicken can have pink meat and juices, but my piece had a lot of red. After I showed this to the waitress, the cook came out and explained that the myoglobin in the chicken was responsible for the red color. He argued that the chicken was just fine, as did the manager who responded to my private e-mail. They both assured me that the meat is cooked "to temp." Actually they set the smoker temp to 220, and unless the meat is individually temped, they cannot say that each piece has reached proper temp. I would not recommend ordering chicken here. The brisket, pulled pork and sausage were good, and the beans and coleslaw were great. The desserts were awesome; peanut butter pie was our favorite. The restaurant compensated us for two chicken quarters that we could not eat by giving us one free dessert and a few free soft drinks. read more

However, the staff quickly corrected the error, and after that it was smooth sailing despite sitting outside on the cramped sidewalk and listening to construction next door. Small sacrifices for good food! My daughter ordered a soft pretzel and couldn't stop remarking on how good it was: fresh, warm, yeasty, and slightly sweet; it really did taste good. Both she and my son had mac & cheese and loved it, Husband and son both got the brisket sandwich, which was messy and difficult to eat but very much enjoyed. Hubs said the veggie soup was tasty, too. Don't miss the Carolina BBQ sauce (mustard based), but if that's not your thing, they had two other types of BBQ sauce at the table. I had fish & chips, which I'm always a little nervous about ordering because so many places serve greasy fish. I was pleasantly surprised by small, crispy nuggets of fried fish that wasn't greasy at all. I also loved the chips, which were thinly sliced planks of potatoes. Such a great addition to downtown Chelan! I think it's taken a bit for them to find their stride but it just keeps getting better. We were snowshoeing in Chelan for Valentines weekend and were looking for a good brewery and decided to try this place. We were disappointed there was no burger on the menu after a long day but we got tacos and a wrap. The brisket was AMAZING but everything was quite plain. They have awesome sauces (the mustard sauce was the best) to make up for it but the lack of something jazzy with the meat is the reason for the 4 stars. Do not order the BBQ chicken platter. I got this dish on Friday, 7/26/2019, and it's a disappointing to say the least. The chicken was slimy, pink and oozes blood when cut! The server explained to me that they have a special smoking system but I couldn't care less of the process if the chicken is inappropriately cooked. Disappointed after having dinner here for the fourth time. The menu has been changed a lot and I can't believe they got rid of the kids menu. Telling me to order my kids an appetizer or side is just annoying. The brisket my husband ordered was really dry (he has enjoyed this in the past) and my smoked chicken had an off flavor. Servers were nice, but the food has went downhill in the past 2 years. I don't think we will be back again unfortunately. read more
