Rat infested building nearly everyone has rats in their unit StorQuest doesn't care even if the rats destroyed $3k of your stuff they will only reimburse you $400.00 max. He refused to patch an opening where rats could get in and missed huge openings where they could get in . I had to do it myself .I had to buy hardware and cover the openings myself This place is awful if you want rats pissing all over your stuff then get a storage unit here. Aside from my lock being tattered with while I was away for many months, the service here is no good. This facility is filthy, the employees are lazy and careless and seem to never have an answer. There's homeless folks sleeping at the door entrance, And they will increase your rent monthly, so don't buy into their move in specials. You will not be saving much in the end. Storquest is an Unsafe, Filthy environment with Poor Customer Service. They say it's in their contract that they do not reimburse for moving out early. Every storage unit that I've had in the past has prorated and reimburse funds for days not used, except for this dump. I recommend that you store your belongings somewhere else. Save your money and your belongings by storing somewhere else. read more

This is the place to store your stuff if you don't want to be taken advantage of. The staff at the front desk are helpful and friendly, there's usually ample parking and the space works well for my needs. What I love the most is that they only raised the rent 8% after 7 months, not like Extra Space which doubled my rent after 3 months saying it's due to "market conditions" which is complete BS and we ALL know it. read more

Veronica manager worst service!!!!! couldn't even hear a customer speak over the phone she directed and threaten me and my 11 years old daughter to throw out the trash when I got home ...while she was sitting / walking around watching the cameras /nd her phone waiting for time to pass !!! Knowing my rules not to leave trash! Veronica waits for customers to leave while she ONLY has the key for the trash nd not help out nd open the door knowing I have trash she was no where to be found so she said if I dnt come back I'll will get charged 60-70$ THAT DAY !!!! H O R R I B L E E X P E R I E N C E ! As soon as I stepped in I had Veronica follow me and step over me and say if I couldn't unlock the door to my mothers storage then she was going to kick me out. I understand there is rules and safety precautions to follow but I had my moms storage card with pin, along with her keys. Since I couldn't read storage number on card I was only asking if that storage number was located in building! She had major attitude, and I gave her attitude towards the end only because she was so rude! Even threatening me she will have me escorted out. I even said, "I'm being nice with you, and only asked you nicely". I don't know who put her on her high horse but that is not how you act in costumer service! Had an appt to look at a 10x15, Veronica was unwelcoming and rude. Was silent the whole time. She was not helpful and rude. She did not look like she wanted to work "attitude" She showed us the supposedly 10x15. It did not look like it. We did say "it does not look like it" and she repsonds. "Thats what the clipboard says" she did say they had a bigger one. And did not offer to show us. We were disappointed. read more

Due to COVID-19 I was very stressed and needed a storage immediately. I had difficult time with scheduling. I ended up with my storage key broken in the lovk and my stuff outside of the storage. I been using this location for years on and off. So far this location has been okay. Most of all personel have been helpful and willing to give the best customer service ... a special thanks to Jackie, for helping me with any questions i have. This location also got a minor remodeling from main office to inside the building thats a plus, since before u would get a bad smell and seem to dark. Parking can be at times a little nightmare due to McDonalds. An the reasons why this location gets 3 stars out of 5, was due to pricing seems like the more popular l.a. gets, it keeps getting more and more expensive. My final complain was i seen that my unit had a grinder cut one of the bolts and another loose bolt as if someone try to open it... some door also seem to spaced out and people can peek in and see what you have inside.. but other then that i can say this location can be great if they were better with inside security and pricing . read more

Amazing friendly staff. Good so far, saw no one living there. Its hilarious to think anyone can live in there. I didn't see another soul on my floor although it was ghost-creepy. Im used to ghost-creepy storage units, I think the lighting they use gives off emfs and makes me feel creeped out. Anyways the staff is SO AMAZING and funny. Made my day. I wish it was open a little longer, since I am always at work during open hours on weekdays, but I guess they have to do what they have to do. Prices were deeply cheaper than surrounding areas. So far, not bad, will report back if my stuff was stolen in 6 months or not! (teehee) read more

I had a horrible experience w/ StorQuest, hence here's the one star review. Here's what happened. I was about to move out of my original apartment and I need to put a lot of the furnitures into a storage. I found this location nearby, so I made a reservation on their website that I'm gonna checkin on June 24th, then paid $10 confirmation fee for my reservation. On June 24th I was packing w/ the help of a moving company and got all my stuff loaded onto a truck. I called StorQuest around 4pm asking when they close. I was told that they close by 6pm and I need to checkin before the office is closed. I said I'd arrive around 5:30pm. Then after I finished all the packing, the moving company and I drove over to this storage, at 5:30pm, they are CLOSED. I tried to knock, called the 'after hour emergency', called the 'global hotline', called the contact number on their website, and it seemed that the whole company is offwork, before their marked close time of 6pm I was still paying the moving company by hour, so I had to search around and find another storage and unload the truck, about 2 hours later. StorQuest caused me a direct loss of $100+ bucks, not counting the waste of time and the frustration. Two days later, I called their office again asking for an explanation and refund, at least for my $10 reservation fee. The guy told me he had taken a note and will have his manager call me back the next day. A week has passed and I never received any callback. That's how they handle their problems. read more

The people there are nice, but the area is sketchy, especially at night. I see the same vans/RVs there all the time. I think some people live in their vehicles there. I also ran into a guys who was trying to find someone to buy drugs from. Apart from the the facilities are a bit rundown and the elevator is spastic. I give it 2 stars because I think it's a bit overpriced for being old and outdated. read more

Love this storage place. Great customer service and clean units. Definitely recommend this place.

After a while, I realized that people were living in there. I even saw a fight break out among two homeless men that escalated and emptied out into the parking lot. They were being cheered on by some other homeless guys roaming the first floor. I turned to the guy next to me: "I think people are living in here." He grabbed his cel phone, which was charging in an electrical outlet and walked out: "I don't know what you're talking about." That's when I realized that this guy, too, was living in there. They have tried to clean up the place by reducing the late night hours but, structurally, there is no way you can fix this problem. Mainly, this is because there is no double-locking system and not enough support staff who patrol. Apart from that, the office staff are nice people and I would have liked to continue interfacing with them but could no longer deal with the security risks. I'm now at a much better place. You may pay a bit more but peace of mind is worth it. read more

I had a TERRIBLE experience at this storage unit and would not recommend it to anyone if they want to actually get their belongings back after storing there. I rented a storage unit at Storquest-Figueroa after graduating college. I was relocating temporarily the east coast. When I went back to retrieve my belongings with my husband, I noticed how dirty it looked since the last time I was there. Before moving anything, we noticed about three cockroaches crawling on my boxes. He killed them and we assumed it would be fine after that. However, after he took the first box out of the unit, we realized that there were many, MANY, more- not only were they crawling outside the boxes, but they were inside the boxes as well. We realized quickly, however, that the cockroaches were not confined to my unit when a cockroach fell from the ceiling and landed on my husband's neck. As we started to look around, we saw that the cockroaches were crawling on the walls, ceilings, and floors of the entire floor. We walked up & down every aisle on my floor and saw cockroaches skittering under and over the doors of other units, in addition to many dead cockroach bodies lying on the floor in front of units. Seeing this infestation of cockroaches, I knew that I would not be able to salvage my belongings since they were primarily bedroom furniture (bed, sheets, etc...) and kitchen materials (plates, cups, appliances). I could not risk bringing anything back into my car or house that had cockroach eggs in it. When I presented the issue to the manager, she got a cockroach bomb from Home Depot for us and set it off in the unit. She was friendly, but her quick suggestion to use a cockroach bomb made me think she had done this before. As I had insurance on my unit, she just advised us to come back in 24 hours, so that we could itemize everything in the unit and send to insurance. Now my belongings were also full of chemicals in addition to cockroach eggs. The next day when we came back we had to take everything out of the unit to make a list of all that I lost. Needless to say, I had to trash my belongings, which was over $4000.00 including the money that I spent in rent on the unit. Of course we also weren't happy that we had to spend hours in a unit with terrible chemicals and dead cockroaches going through each item. However, if that was what we had to do for insurance, we had to do it. Later, we came to find that insurance does not cover insect damage--- which is something I would think the manager would know instead of suggesting us to waste our time. StorQuest themselves also denied having any responsibility in the damage of my belongings and the customer service was terrible. I played phone tag-- and by phone tag I really me calling the district manager regularly-- to have a fair conversation about this circumstance. I paid on time every month and in return, I expected to be able to pick up my items in the relative condition that I left them. Otherwise, why have a storage unit? Why spend the money for a storage unit? Why not just throw everything out in the first place? When I couldn't reach the district manager, I tried to talk to someone higher through the customer service line, but I was constantly given the run around. No one wanted to help and even worse, no one cared that they had so terribly failed to deliver a service that I had PAID for. Again, I would not recommend this place. They should be ashamed of themselves for such bad business. read more
