Love the vibes of this place. Staff were very friendly and service was quick. Got the matcha latte and a blueberry scone. It was all delicious and the scone was fresh out of the oven which was an amazing plus. The area it is in is also really cute / nice with lots of little shops and feels very safe with lots of parking.

We tried the iced carmelita and the latte. They have a nice variety of drinks on the menu, and the service was fast. The coffee was a little bitter for my taste, since I prefer sweeter drinks, but the rest of my family really enjoyed theirs. The interior is nice with cute decor, and there's plenty of seating both inside and outside.

Stopped in first time while We were waiting for the Fat Pigeon to Open. Nice space, good seating and very clean. Everyone was very friendly, prices and wait time We're Reasonable. It was fairly busy as well. Quality of the coffee, and hot cocoa was awesome. Served temperature Appropriate. Nice place to Chill and visit. Well done.

The vibes here are always super lovely. There's plenty of seating for folks who want to get work done and the employees are all exceptionally sweet and accommodating. They have more experimental / novelty drinks which can be hit or miss but they're really fun to try. They used to have this mango chai flavor I was obsessed with but they ended up swapping it out which was a bummer.

A place w real people and the BEST coffee ever! The people are friendly and they REMEMBER you. I am always impressed by their roast. Yum! Also the food is delightful. The croissants are delicious. If you're looking for a sandwich and some great coffee with the best atmosphere, you want Panama Bay! And make sure you ask for Mia or Sam! These two are simply fantastic!

Probably closer to 3.5 stars. This is (almost) a good place to get some work done! They have outlets and a decent amount of seating. The only con is that the music is too loud. One time it was so loud a stranger next to me actually went up to ask the employee to lower the music and everyone thanked him. I don't recommend if you have to take any calls or meetings. The bathroom code changes every week so you'll need to ask the employees for the code when you come in. Drinks are okay - not my favorite but I still come back because it's the best place I've found to do work so far. It comes out to $6.85 for an iced oat milk latte with a flavored syrup. I recommend downloading the app to gain points and rewards! It's a cute cafe to stop by for a drink or sit outside.

Such a cute coffee spot! Had to give this cafe a try for their innovative speciality lattes and was not disappointed. I tried their banana bread latte and I don't like sweet coffee an asked the barista to make it less sweet and and she did an amazing job making it less sweet but not lose flavor! I'm not a fan of hazelnut, which the og recipe calls for, so the barista subbed it for toffee for me and it was fire. My mom got their Mumbai masala chai which was also super yum and had a good taste of spices. We also got their spinach and cheese pastry which was fresh and also super yum. Def recommend trying this spot!!

Stop by to get another coffee on the way. Nice decoration with some of Halloween theme. It is nice coffee shop. I like the wall where you can write message on the cup holder and stick it to the wall. The cold brew and the oat raisin cookies are good. Worker is very friendly.

Yup, if I'm drinking coffee, I want this one!!! I stumbled on the iced vanilla latte and it's one of the richest, most flavorful lattes I've had in so long where I can enjoy the coffee aroma and flavor without it being bitter and having a weird aftertaste. *Drink of choice: iced sugar free vanilla latte with oat milk - largest size they have!! Gotta stop by and have it anytime of day!! Sad they're not open late night to have it more

It was my first time at Panama Bay this afternoon and I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered a small iced decaf americano with oat milk and sugar free hazelnut syrup. It was perfect! I'd order that same thing again when I come back! We also shared a Reese's peanut butter cookie. We asked for it warmed up and it was gooey and delish!!! Will definitely be back!

Panama Bay Coffee: A Cozy Downtown Gem! A repeat favorite! I love the rustic vibe of this charming cafe. Always a pleasure to grab my go-to Caramelita Latte, served extra hot, paired with their scrumptious gluten-free Banana Blueberry Muffin (warmed to perfection!). Consistently delicious and welcoming atmosphere. Their staff are always smiling and friendly. A must-visit in downtown Livermore!

The apple pie French toast was the highlight of the meal--sweet, comforting, and packed with cinnamon-apple flavors that really did remind me of apple pie. It felt indulgent without being overly heavy. The eggs Benedict were well-executed with perfectly cooked eggs and a rich, creamy hollandaise sauce. The butternut squash soup was smooth, velvety, and full of flavor, making it a great starter. The turkey avocado sammie was fresh and satisfying with generous portions of turkey and avocado, making it a solid lunch option. Service was friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout the meal. The vibe is cozy, relaxed, and inviting, making it a great spot for brunch with friends, family, or a casual weekend outing. The atmosphere feels warm and neighborhood-oriented, encouraging you to linger a little longer over coffee and conversation. Overall, an enjoyable brunch experience with a menu that offers something for everyone. I'd come back to try more of their breakfast and lunch offerings.

Although this was a tad off the freeway, it was easy to find with plenty of parking. There were beautiful trees & plants outside, which also surrounded the patio area. The space was clean with a modern yet rustic feel. The employees were fairly friendly and made our drinks rather quickly. I got a matcha latte with oat milk & brown sugar vanilla syrup added. They had so many unique syrup options that I had a tough time ultimately deciding, but the brown sugar vanilla was honestly such a great choice. I'm an absolute matcha snob and make my own at home all the time; the one I had at Grounded was quite delicious and I could tell they use a higher quality matcha than most other coffee shops, which made me happy. My husband went simple with a cold brew coffee and said it had a good flavor with low acidity, which he very much enjoyed. Next time we have to drive to/from Oakland for work, we'll be stopping in again and my husband will likely be taking a bag of beans home too now that he knows the coffee quality was high. My sister ordered Joe's omelette (scramble listed on the menu). It comes with ground beef, spinach, onions, mushrooms, and cheese. Comes with a side of toast and country potatoes. Again, a large portion of deliciousness! We also ordered Aloha mimosas- made with bubbles, vodka, passion, and guava. Tall cup but I felt like there was very little inside. Overall taste was nothing out of this world, very bland as was the garnish. For food I ordered the Philly Omlette - 2/5. The meat was so dry and lacked any seasoning! Disappointing - salsa was the only thing that saved it and ketchup for my potatoes. Of which, the potatoes were OK. I ordered a 16 oz (large) coffee, but was served a 12 oz. When it was brought to our table, I politely asked about the size since it looked smaller than what I usually get. The barista told me it was 12 oz and mentioned it might just be a different cup, then walked away without really addressing the concern. I checked my receipt and confirmed I was charged for a 16 oz. I went back to the counter and explained that I simply wanted the correct size. Initially, I was told I would need to pay more, which was frustrating. After explaining again, she finally offered to remake it. For clarity, the drink hadn't been touched at all--I returned it exactly as it was.
