We recently took a family vacation and needed transportation from OC to LAX for 16 adult passengers and 20 full size luggage and handful of carry on. I called several agencies giving me quotes for round trip transportation ranging from $800-1K each way!! We decided to use a car service because we had to fly in and out of LAX and we were going to be gone for almost 2 weeks. Paying for long term parking plus commuting between South Orange County and LAX in addition to driving after traveling through three countries over 30 hours just didn't seem like a good idea. Several people at Mr. B's office have used Strack and recommended the company. The reservation process was very easy and the pricing was up front with no hidden costs or charges. Even the tip was included ahead of time so we didn't need to fumble around with that while we were trying to leave and return from our trip. There were no charges tacked on - everything was paid up front. Communication before our trip and during our return was top notch. We received emails that provided us with the name and contact information for our drivers. On both the departure and arrival our driver was early and had checked all possible traffic snafus so that we could avoid them on our drive. Our return flight got in an hour early and our driver was waiting to meet us when we walked out of the international terminal with our luggage. He took my luggage cart, while Mr. B. followed with his and he had us out of the airport in less than 5 minutes. Strack is the epitome of what an excellent transportation service company should strive to be. I was extremely satisfied with every part of our service and will use Strack again if we are traveling out of town under similar circumstances. All the way from booking my drop off and picked up from john wayne, these guys were on top of everything. Driver was early, helped me put my sons car seat in the car drive there was pleasant & extremely comfortable. My plane lands back into john wayne and soon as the wheels touched down the driver texted me and was already on site. I almost never write reviews or send fan letters or have any communications about business I've interacted with unless they're so terrible that I feel a moral obligation to let the public know about my experience. This is a first for me. I'm writing an extremely glowing recommendation for Strack Premier Transportation . Because of a free dental study I'm involved with, I get driven every couple of months from Palmdale to Whittier and back. I've had about 11 drivers from this company and all of them have been absolutely top notch. Super professional, intelligent conversationalists (a big one for me, being trapped in a car with someone for 3 hours a trip), really well-dressed and polite with free amenities like good magazines to read and free water. Of course they set the car temperature to the customer's wants and the let the customer choose any radio/satellite station they prefer. I also requested to take a short-cut through the Angeles Crest Forrest Highway (to avoid long traffic jams where the 14 meets the 5 and all thru LA) and of course the driver obliged, saving probably an hour of mind-bending freeway stress. This review is specifically for Mr. Darren Bufford, Chauffeur, my driver today. I have a very difficult time sitting still for hours at a time, so some conversation becomes necessary on these trips, though I usually stick to my IPod. Today Darren and I had 3 great hours of conversation that really made my day. From the history of Los Angeles, pre-war real estate ventures in LA, to Hollywood film productions, to spirituality and religion. Now, it wasn't the driver who brought up the topic of religion and spirituality, it was myself, and being the great professional he is, he obliged me in this topic. And I was rewarded with one of the best philosophical conversations I've had in months. Again, I want to remind the public and Darrin's company that it was I who wanted this conversation to take place. I brought up the topic, he indulged me. After all, customer service is a HUGE part of the service this company offers. Philosophy and religion is often a touchy conversation, especially between 2 people with different philosophies. And I must say, I feel like I left this long drive a better human being than before I entered the (exceptionally nice) car. Ideas were exchanged, philosophies were offered and met with intelligence and respect, and deep thinking was the order of the day. You can't beat that in my world. In short, again, my driver's name is Darrin Bufford, an absolute professional driver and a top-notch philosopher to boot. This was an unexpected plus from a company I already knew was bend on customer satisfaction as its number one philosophy. Soooooo thorough! I knew there was absolutely nothing to worry about when I booked. The gentleman I spoke with was competent, friendly and helpful. They didn't have a vehicle for one of the trips I booked, but they handled the transportation for me. I have now booked with Strack 6 times. If you are looking for the cheapest possible way to get from point a to point b, don't call Strack. But, if you are looking for a safe, clean vehicle with a competent driver and office staff that you know will be on time and do the job flawlessly, THAT is when you call Strack. read more

I found Strack after calling about 15 other companies in the LA area to arrange transportation to and from the Rose Bowl from the LAX area. Some of the other companies seemed okay and others did not, but Strack stood above the rest for the service and clarity. When I first called Strack, I talked to Trudy. She actually asked me questions and listened to the needs of our group. She suggested several options with clear-cut pricing; we chose the 15 person Mercedes Sprinter to take us to and from the game. She seemed really excited about the whole thing (it was a big deal to us to be there to tailgate and cheer on our team for the Rose Bowl). Her time and attitude set Strack apart. To the other limo companies, I was just a person looking to book on a busy day, but not at Strack. Strack was willing to handle everything for our group. This included getting the Rose Bowl parking pass in advance. Some companies charged an additional fee just to drive up and get the pass. The invoice was sent to me ahead of time, and the cancellation policy was fair. Our driver, Mike, made the day even more special. He was on time and ready to go. I received email/text updates throughout the day about the status of the transport. We were in the car, so it didn't matter, but if I had paid for the service on behalf of someone else, these updates would have been great. Mike was willing to help us find a liquor store and load up the van. He got us to Pasadena in record time and had the parking situation handled. While we tailgated, he helped us without hovering. When we were ready to go into the stadium, he packed up all the coolers so we could get into the stadium as quickly as possible. After the game, he was patient as we continued to tailgate within the allotted time of our contract. He let us play fight songs from the iPod and endured our drunken singing all the way home. One apprehension I had when finding Strack was that they didn't have as many rankings on Yelp as other LA companies, such as Crowne Limo. My guess is that Strack is used more by professionals than by 1-time clients who write reviews on Yelp (such as weddings, etc.). Even though I normally use TripAdvisor, I wanted to make sure I came back to write a review for Strack. They made a special day even better. I wish I could have afforded to tip Mike 100% above and beyond what we paid. The service was just that amazing. I would recommend Strack to anyone who wants their transportation needs handled in a professional manner. read more

Have only had great experiences with this company. I have used them for many years, on trips ranging from bus transportation for company wide wine tastings in Napa Valley, to your typical airport transfers. I have never had any issues. The drivers have always been early, have been incredibly professional but friendly, and best of all, have been very flexible and willing to change routes/plans as sometimes happens. I was very happy with the service, vehicle, driver and our Account Executive Scott. I highly recommend this company. We had a limo to go wine tasting in Los Olivos and compared to all of the other limos we saw at the wineries, we had the best vehicle out there. Our driver was very helpful, suggested wineries, places to eat and always made sure we were doing okay. If I had any questions, I could easily get a hold of Scott and he was very prompt, professional and always made sure that I was taken care of.
