Last night, this Charleston-based food truck was at the Atlanta Food Truck Park at Howell Mill…read more Super nice people. Disappointing wings - I got the LPWs and found them over-seasoned and, oddly, a little sweet. They were also "wet" vs "dry," which is my preference. I only had one of the six in my order. Came with fries, which were pretty good and I also got a side of corn on the cob, which rocked. I didn't add anything (butter, salt, etc) to it and it was delicious. Probably not a food truck I'll seek out again - but that corn was good!

While on vacation, it's always hard to find good local food... mainly because, you're not a local…read more Serendipitously, my friend and I were fortunate enough to find this delicious food truck! We went to go wine and vodka tasting at Firefly Distillery and there was this lovely food truck out there. Now my friend and I LOVE to try new food so we were happy to see this truck out there. Looking at the menu, we weren't sure what to order and know if it was good or not so we asked the lovely young lady working if she could recommend something. She ended up choosing the "Geechee Island Wings". Man... she did us no wrong. Seriously, straight up... no lie at all... Those wings were the best wings I've EVER had in my life. No exaggeration at all.. these wings were AMAZING. They had a balance of sweet, spice, and salt and they were juicy and wonderful. We had no idea that these wings would be that good. After we had each taken a bite, my friend and I looked at each other and said the same thing, "I think these might be the best wings I've ever had." If only I lived in the Charleston area... I wish I did because then I'd be eating these wings every day.

The look on these kids faces was excruciating. Even when asked if she would stay for 3 minutes to serve these kids she refused. I would absolutely never recommend this business.

My most recent visit down required that we find them so I could try it. Sadly, because it was so hot out they weren't going to be at any farmers markets but they directed me to Caviar&Bananas where I was able to find a tub of the lavendar/lemon fluff (I think it was $6.99). First of all, this tub lasted over a week before I opened it and found the fluff was still light and fluffy and hadn't gotten all dry and shriveled yet. I would eat a little and reseal it, and all in all it lasted another 3 or 4 days after being opened/resealed before I finished it. At no point did it get hard or crackly. We also ran into the wonderful owner at WildFlour in West Ashley, which is apparently where she makes the fluff, and she graciously gifted us with two samples - lemonade and watermelon beet. They both had edible glitter in them (so cool!) and were delightful to sample. I liked them both but would definitely suggest trying the watermelon beet since it's such a unique flavor. If I was having an event in Charleston, I would definitely use them either to bring the cart or to help provide a sweet snack.
