Strada was something that was missing from Fresno and Central Valley. It has unique way of serving fresh sandwiches which you won't find anywhere else. We loved their freshly baked focaccias so that we even bought it separately after our lunch. Their menu is easy to navigate and choose from. Stuff is very friendly and nice people, also they have lots of stuff members working all together including separate person making sure all the tables are clean after each customer. Finally some sandwich shop that would definitely worth to visit again. 100 % recommended if you crave for quality sandwich.

I've been waiting for the lines to dampen down before I finally tried this place so I wouldn't have to wait in line outside. The wait was worth it. I got the stracciatella and added prosciutto. The stracciatella is creamy perfection. It would still be good without any added meat. The roasted tomatoes added a lot of flavor as well. They are baking focaccia constantly. If I'm being picky, some of the focaccia portions are visibly smaller. If you get the end pieces, it's usually rounded off and thinner, so you are getting less bread. The place was packed around 2:30pm. The line probably took about 15 min to get through and didn't quite reach the door. I will definitely be back to try some other sandwiches. The sun dried tomato and spicy Calabrian spreads sound delicious!

For the price of the sandwich are worth it they are huge! I got the peach prosciutto & my husband got the mortadella I believe I'm really not sure because I've notice maybe mines was a seasonal thing which is fine it was great loved the peach Also waited for the hype to calm down on this place I would always see a line but I went on a Sunday ordered on line & picked up at the window within less than 15 mins

Such a great new sandwich spot and truly one of a kind! The focaccia was one of the freshest and tastiest I've had--perfectly baked, soft and fluffy inside with a delicious crust. All the ingredients tasted incredibly fresh, and you can really tell they care about quality. The staff was very friendly, welcoming, and impressively fast, even while preparing everything fresh. I also loved that they sell their freshly baked focaccia separately--you can take some home and enjoy it later! Definitely a place worth trying. We'll absolutely be coming back!

Went in on a miraculous day of no lines. I'm not sure how I got so lucky because this place has a line out the door daily! I ordered the capocollo and it was absolutely delicious and the portion was huge! So simple yet so satisfying. So my favorite Italian sandwich place is Antico Vinaio in Italy and this is the only place that I have found in Fresno that serves anything remotely close to what I had in Rome! Will be back again and again and again

Excellent new place to try! Fully enjoyed the turkey salami sandwich! I wasn't sure if I'd even like the bread but wow was i surprised! Totally different in a good way! I tried this sandwich because it is made with traditional mayo, mustard, oil, and vinegar ... not a spread. I added the roasted peppers and substituted arugula for lettuce. I made it a combo and added chips and soda. You order and pay at the counter and all the ingredients are right in front of you to see. All the sandwiches are large, have a good amount of meat and other toppings. You can make your own or choose one of the strada selections. The bread, the toppings and meat are all really good! I will definitely be back and try something different! The atmosphere is relaxed, casual, and modern. I like that they have some booths available which are more comfortable.

This picture doesn't do this sandwich justice.

I'm not sure if I can add anything new to what's already been said! I had the turkey pesto sandwich and it was amazing, to say the least. The flavors from the bread and the pesto spread were perfect, and the fresh mozzarella was great. The staff was super helpful and even asked if I needed help picking a sandwich. Based on their menu, I don't think there would've been a bad choice. I can tell I'm going to be thinking about this sandwich for a while.

I finally got a chance to try Strada. I took advantage of their new take out window. I put in my order via Toast and scheduled it for 11:30 am. I arrive about 5 minutes early as I was done with my errands quicker than what I thought and when I approached the window and gave them my name, my order was ready to go. I arrived back home ready to partake in this deliciousness. I had ordered the Roasted Turkey and Salami. This comes with mayo, mustard, tomatoes, onion, spicy pickled peppers, iceberg lettuce, olive oil, red wine vinegar and oregano inside a delicious focaccia. The sandwich was delicious and spicy pickled peppers had just the perfect amount of heat. Not overpowering as sometimes spicy fillings can be. Let's talk about the bread. The focaccia is light and airy and not tough like focaccia can sometimes be. It was still warm when I got it home. It had just a little hint of sea salt. You can actually order a whole loaf or half loaf just of the focaccia. Their menu had quite a variety of sandwiches to choose from and you can customize it to your liking. They also have chips and soda and you can order these as a combo along with your sandwich. The price is reasonable considering the size of the sandwich you are getting and quality of all the ingredients. They also sell desserts and their chocolate chip cookie is too die for! I highly recommend this fabulous cookie! It's huge and thin and crispy. Once you bite into you get a taste of chocolate chip with a taste buttery flavor. Definitely will be returning to more sandwiches and get another cookie

Taste out this state, not something you can get just anywhere in the valley. Fresh focaccia with many Italian classics to choose from. Tried the mortadella with added arugula, tomato, and onion. Husband got the Tuscan ham with added arugula, tomato, and onion. J Pardini knows what he is doing to bring the Italians out for lunch on a busy Sunday. Forget about it!

First time trying this place. I was honestly not expecting much since it's just a sandwich you know. I think I came in thinking it was going to be overpriced and basic. I thought that the sandwiches were going to come just as is how it says on the menu with the limited ingredients. However, when I had my chance to order, it was actually a lot different than I had expected. The sandwiches on the menu was basically a base and if you wanted to add more toppings, you could. My personal favorite one is actually not on the basic menu, it seemed to be a promotional or limited time option. It is the prosciutto and fig sandwich. I believe it comes with a pistachio cream and arugula and some other toppings. I added some other additional toppings like provolone, eggplant, tomatoes, red onion and chili peppers. Super tasty and delicious. These sandwiches are really good fresh but I saved a half for the next day and it was still really good. It held up well and the bread did not become soggy at all. I think the value is just right. All the sandwiches on the menu are around $12-15 I believe. I also tried the huge cookie and that was perfect. The tiramisu was not the best and it was overpriced. They also sell day old batches of bread if you would like to make your own sandwiches at home. I love that cause it shows that they do value food and they care to prevent food waste. The service was not bad, I feel like they could do a little bit better at explaining the ordering process. I was not informed that I could add other toppings to the sandwich until I asked if I could. I think that is something they can explain at the beginning of the ordering process. Interior of the restaurant is super clean and gives off that sandwich shop vibe. There is ample seating and honestly people seem to be in and out here. They come, eat their sandwich and leave. I think the restaurant has a nice charm to it and it's very pleasing to look at.

The lines are long during lunch but it is well worth the wait. Nothing beats the smell of fresh bread as you enter. These sandwiches are huge. The ingredients are very fresh. Staff was nice. Plenty of seating indoor and outdoor. The dining area is nicely decorated with minimalist vibe.

The sandwiches here are on a whole other level. Every creation and every ingredient goes together so well. I can't get enough of the sandwiches here.

My friends rave about this new sandwich shop so I decided to give it a try. The line was huge so I chose to do takeout and I got my order pretty quickly. It does match up to the hype. It is very delicious. I will definitely come back again.

After reviewing the menu selection, it felt like I was waiting for a while just for a staff member to acknowledge us. Instead, the workers were standing with their backs to us , and left us standing there for a while. In fact , I was so confused I was looking around for a kiosk to order my food. The next thing that I didn't like was the price of our lunch. 45.00 for one sandwich , two small cups of soup , two fountain drinks , and a dessert. Seems pricey for a sandwich spot. I get it - this is a step up from Subway. However, for what I spent - I expected more. Finally, the dining room tables were grimy. I had to clean off our own table before the food arrived. I felt like this was inexcusable considering the amount of staff standing around not doing much. Here is what I did like. The menu has a nice variety of hot or cold sandwiches, sides , and desserts. Everything sounded so good. Today, I opted for the Monterey chicken sandwich. While the flavor was good, it ate a little messy. I had chicken pieces falling out and cheese oozing out of the bottom. I don't think I would order this again- there appears to be better options to choose from. The baked potato soup was really good ( salty but delicious)! Hands down , the best thing we tried was Gary's chocolate cake. That cream cheese frosting was heavenly! Heads up- this cake is super sweet ,and a little goes a long way. Feel free to share this dessert. I am coming back to try more menu items- I may have just ordered the wrong sandwich today.

It was succulent, saucy, and deeply comforting. The pork was rich and exceptionally moist without being mushy, carrying deep smoky and savory flavors from the slow-smoking process and well-seasoned rub. The BBQ sauce was equally well-balanced--subtly spiced, tangy, and slightly sweet. It complemented the richness of the pork rather than masking it, and I appreciated that it was neither overly drippy nor sticky. The vinegary housemade slaw added the perfect contrast, bringing fresh crunch along with a briny, acidic sharpness that balanced the savory meat beautifully. The garlic-butter French roll held everything together nicely without falling apart, yet remained soft enough to absorb the sauce. I was not nearly as impressed with the tri-tip sandwich, which happens to be their best seller, though I still enjoyed it overall. The tri-tip itself was on point: thinly sliced, tender, medium-rare smoky beef piled onto a garlic-toasted French roll and complemented by tangy BBQ sauce. It delivered smoky, savory, juicy flavors with a satisfying contrast between the tender meat and the crunchy bread, which held the juices well without becoming soggy. That said, I thought the sandwich could have used a little more meat, which likely explains the popularity of the Jump Tri-Tip -- a larger version of the regular tri-tip sandwich that adds more meat on the same excellent bread for only a few dollars more. I also felt the sandwich needed an additional element to elevate it further--perhaps caramelized onions for sweetness, melted cheese for richness, or a sharper horseradish cream or garlic aioli to add more depth and contrast. Service was warm and friendly throughout, and I am always greeted with a smile.

This original location remains my recommended spot for Mediterranean food. Many Mediterranean…read morerestaurants in Fresno County are Armenian-owned, while only a small handful--like this family-run restaurant--specialize in Lebanese cuisine. Lebanese food is widely considered among the best expressions of Mediterranean cooking due to its vibrant use of fresh ingredients, particularly herbs, lemon, garlic, and olive oil, along with a strong emphasis on healthy, plant-based, and grilled dishes. It offers diverse, shareable, and nutrient-dense options such as tabbouleh, hummus, and falafel, making it both flavorful and nutritious. I always enjoy dining at Golden Grill because they exemplify Lebanese cuisine so well. Their dishes highlight fresh herbs like mint and parsley, along with garlic and lemon juice, rather than relying heavily on spices. The result is a light, refreshing, and aromatic flavor profile that feels both vibrant and balanced. The kebabs are excellent. The grilled cubes of beef, chicken, and kafta (ground beef and lamb) skewers are flavorful, tender, and juicy, topped with herbs and grilled to perfection. They carry a subtle smokiness and savory aroma, and the meats are beautifully charred with vibrant color. Their pita and saj sandwiches are also very well done. Each sandwich is warm and carefully assembled, forming a sturdy pocket filled with high-quality ingredients. They combine savory meats (or falafel and vegetables), creamy sauces, and crunchy pickles and onions into a balanced bite. The bread holds generous fillings without collapsing while still being tender enough to bite through easily. The pocket opens cleanly, creating the perfect pouch for the ingredients. For a small restaurant with limited seating that appears to receive many to-go orders, the presentation for dine-in guests is especially thoughtful. The dishes are served on clean white ceramic plates and trays, with the food carefully arranged and portions balanced. It is simple yet elegant and visually appealing. Golden Grill also captures the Lebanese mezze-style dining experience. As someone of Korean heritage, I appreciate this approach, since it is similar to how Korean meals are served with many shared dishes that provide variety in every meal. Some of the shared plates include Lebanese staples like hummus, falafel, tabbouleh, baba ghanouj, and fresh flatbread. Everything here tastes fresh and well-prepared, with distinct textures and aromatic flavors. The signature entrées come with two cold appetizers. The hummus is silky smooth, a velvety blend of garbanzo beans and tahini that almost melts in your mouth. The baba ghanouj is creamy, garlicky, and finished with olive oil. The tabbouleh is bright and balanced with lemon juice, garlic, and a generous drizzle of olive oil that ties together the citrusy and earthy flavors. The restaurant itself is clean, with tables and chairs wiped down quickly after guests leave. Service is friendly, welcoming, and helpful when placing orders. Prices are also reasonable, especially considering many competing Mediterranean restaurants do not place the same emphasis on presentation or on creating a mezze-style dining experience at no additional cost. While some may prefer other Mediterranean cuisines, I personally enjoy the fresh, light, and diverse flavors that Lebanese food offers. Golden Grill's citrus-forward dishes and extensive mezze options make it one of my favorite Mediterranean spots.
