    ROASTED TURKEY with BASIL PESTO

Food was fresh and you can pick whatever add on's you want on your sandwich. Line can be a wait if planning to go on weekends. Ambiance can get crowded, tables can get filled up pretty fast. Overall would recommend!

The bread is fresh, as are the veges in the sandwich. Very tasty! The line was quite long, but there are so many friendly people serving that it went very quickly. People in line were friendly as was the staff. There's a low home of chatter so if there were music playing in the background, I did not hear any. There are plenty of seats available. Ordering the sandwich was a great experience. You are able to request each item as you walk by. I chose the vegetarian sandwich and added turkey. My husband ordered turkey salami, and he really enjoyed it. We were in Italy in March and looking forward to trying these sandwiches to compare. One differences that we preferred in Italy was they cooked the sandwich after they made it so it was very crunchy. Other than that, the flavors and fresh ingredients were comparable.

Atmosphere was top tier matched perfectly with the freshness ingredients creating a flavorful bite. You can taste the freshly baked dough and organic vegetables in every bite. I love how you can customize to your taste buds! Ask yourself will you go back? YES! But line might be out the doors... Enjoy!

Clean, fresh atmosphere with really nice, helpful employees. Paper menus while you wait for counter service, so that you can decide what you'd like. I love the turkey and Brie sandwich, with added arugula, avocado, and fresh tomato. It is outstanding and my go to sandwich each time I visit. Portions are very generous and filling. Each ingredient is delicious and adds to an overall great experience. And the warm bread? Nothing better. There are so many options: their tuna looks great, I've also tried a zucchini sandwich. That was really delicious. There is something for everyone. There is a line out the door, frequently. I plan my visits, on the way home from work on Tuesday afternoons and arrive there at 5 PM with no wait at all, consistently. My new favorite sandwich place!

Decided to try Strada on a Sunday around 2:30pm. They were busy! Line literally out the door the whole time we were there. I tried the prosciutto and my husband got the capicola. Mine was just ok, it needed something. I took a bite of my husband's and it was much better. We'll give it another try!

Finally got to try this place after the hype died down a bit. It's nice to see how fresh all of the ingredients are, especially the bread being made off to the side. I decided to get the Prosciutto sandwich, thinking that I maybe wouldn't like it. However, it was really good and I actually liked that the prosciutto wasn't super salty and that the arugula wasn't too peppery tasting. The staff greeted everyone nicely with a smile and were happy to help. Just wish they could speak up a little bit but maybe it's just me. The inside was clean and well decorated. It does get pretty packed though so it can be difficult to find seating once you get your order.

Wow, kinda surprised at how good this spot was. I knew it wasn't going to be an All'Antico, but damn it does the job given the area we're in. 8/10 for the sandwich. I made a custom one with turkey and salami, added sun-dried tomato spread and pesto spread with fresh mozzarella, some veggies and avocado. It was great. The bread is the star, soft on the inside, crispy on the outside. 6.5/10 for the cookie. Not bad but nothing special about it. Some flaky salt on the top would have helped. Service was top-tier, chik-fil-a level

First time here as I am not from this area. Sis raved about the sandwich she got a few weeks ago and said the bread is amazing. They make their own bread. The staff was friendly and yes the bread was amazing. I got a create your own with truffle spread, artichoke spread and creamy mozzarella to start. I also added red onion + avocado (of course) with the marinaded bell peppers that were delicious. Overall, my sandwich was very delicious and I would return

Let me start this off by saying, I was raised an Italian-American New Yorker. So my bar for this kind of food is excessively high! Where I'm from Italian deli is taken very very very seriously! We have very specialized stores just for this kinda thing. However, this kind of sandwich shop is definitely different than the way that I was raised. This is more aligned with All'Antico than a standard New York Italian deli. All that being said, STRADA is one of the very best things to happen to Fresno in a damn long time. I ordered way too many sandwiches & knew we wouldn't be able to eat them all, but we prefer combinations over more singular type sandwiches. So I asked them to deconstruct everything & they did! And they did it perfect perfectly w/out any fuss. That's why the picture is just of the bread. I forgot to take pictures after I crafted my new masterpiece combos. What I need to highlight here more than anything is the quality of the meats. That's something so very very rare to find outside of the NYC area. Practically nobody outside the Tri State area has decent Italian cold cuts. Not even in places you'd think would. Trust me when I tell you that we NYers have a different standard for Italian cold cuts. Everything was expertly cut, thinly sliced as it should be. Next, let's talk about their toppings. The quality of their oil & aged balsamic vinegar are off the charts, especially for a sandwich shop. All of the other toppings (like pesto, truffle spread, roasted tomato, pistachio spread, pecorino cream) were so perfectly balanced & so fresh & tasty. They fully enhanced the sando!!! So can they do anything better? Absolutely not! Maybe except for offering a build your own. But still this place is otherwise perfect! Will be back again & again!!! --Thanks, STRADA! You've given me a slice of home & of something new to love. Rare has that happened outside NY. Ahhhh, but let's talk bread!!! That focaccia is absolutely magnificent! It's light yet lightly greased, exactly as it should be, to keep it from being dry. I could eat that bread for days & days.

Strada is one of the newest places but also one of the best! Keeping this short and sweet, the service is great and quick! The tuna sandwich is amazing, sweet and savory! The vibe of Strada is calm with a good amount of seating!

my reasoning for three stars is just the lack of consistency. We really enjoy coming here, but it's definitely a hit or miss. My husband thinks it's the bread that has some trial and error to go through. Some sandwiches are amazing and some days we're just kind of left feeling like they were average. Oddly enough, my favorite sandwich there is the tuna. I've tried almost all of them and you can't really go wrong except for when they they're having an off day. I wish the sandwiches came with more stuff on them, but it's easy to customize in the line. We will keep coming back. We just hope as time goes on their level of consistency goes up. The outdoor patio is really nice especially for families. when we were sitting out there, we had Staff approach us and asked if we needed anything and help us get stuff for our leftovers. That was a really nice touch.

I really liked the sandwiches here. My only negative was that I think it could benefit from a little bit more meat to bread ratio. The tiramisu and the Nutella dessert sandwiches were also very tasty. The staff was nice and even though there was quite a line it moved pretty quickly. I would recommend that you give it a try if you haven't yet.

Now in their second week, Strada, the newest Pardini restaurant in Fresno has opened with a bang! I normally give a restaurant a month or so prior to trying and reviewing to allow"bugs" to be worked out. No need to with Strada. After reading the great reviews hfor Heirloom, a close neighbor, we decided to go there for Mother's Day lunch. Looking at the 150 plus people awaiting the opening, we moved down the parking area a bit to Strada. With an about 30 people waiting outside and another 40 or so waiting inside, we decided to go for it. About 35-40 minutes later a very talented looking crew was preparing our Sandwiches. The wait wasn't bad and I spent it learning about this new eatery. A knowledgeable young lady who was passing out menus to the line was very helpful with a friendly personality and seemingly a full understanding of the menus content really helped. The inside was clean, neat and comfortable. Some Italian music would have added a nice touch. I ordered the Spicy Soppressata, a nice sausage with spicy Calabrian pepper spread, Sun dried Tomato spread and Arugula. My wife ordered the Prosciutto Sandwich with fresh mozzarella and tomato, arugula, olive oil and aged balsamic. Both sandwiches were created with care and were absolutely delicious. Speedy prep and checkout. The best sandwich I've eaten in a long time. I thank the extreme line at Heirloom for directing us to Strada. Jimmy, you did it again! We'll be back. There is still about a dozen sandwiches I want to try out.

After reviewing the menu selection, it felt like I was waiting for a while just for a staff member to acknowledge us. Instead, the workers were standing with their backs to us , and left us standing there for a while. In fact , I was so confused I was looking around for a kiosk to order my food. The next thing that I didn't like was the price of our lunch. 45.00 for one sandwich , two small cups of soup , two fountain drinks , and a dessert. Seems pricey for a sandwich spot. I get it - this is a step up from Subway. However, for what I spent - I expected more. Finally, the dining room tables were grimy. I had to clean off our own table before the food arrived. I felt like this was inexcusable considering the amount of staff standing around not doing much. Here is what I did like. The menu has a nice variety of hot or cold sandwiches, sides , and desserts. Everything sounded so good. Today, I opted for the Monterey chicken sandwich. While the flavor was good, it ate a little messy. I had chicken pieces falling out and cheese oozing out of the bottom. I don't think I would order this again- there appears to be better options to choose from. The baked potato soup was really good ( salty but delicious)! Hands down , the best thing we tried was Gary's chocolate cake. That cream cheese frosting was heavenly! Heads up- this cake is super sweet ,and a little goes a long way. Feel free to share this dessert. I am coming back to try more menu items- I may have just ordered the wrong sandwich today.

The tri-tip sandwich is my go to and it never disappoints, tender, flavorful meat every single time. It's great as is, but I usually add the BBQ sauce on top, which just takes it to another level. The bread is buttery and garlicky, exactly how I like it, and it pairs perfectly with everything. The pulled pork is great too, and the hot link sandwich is another solid choice, full of flavor with just the right amount of heat. This time I only ordered the rice pilaf, but I usually get the chili beans as well, they've got a nice little kick of spice. It's a bit farther from me, but not nearly far enough to keep me from back!

It was succulent, saucy, and deeply comforting. The pork was rich and exceptionally moist without being mushy, carrying deep smoky and savory flavors from the slow-smoking process and well-seasoned rub. The BBQ sauce was equally well-balanced--subtly spiced, tangy, and slightly sweet. It complemented the richness of the pork rather than masking it, and I appreciated that it was neither overly drippy nor sticky. The vinegary housemade slaw added the perfect contrast, bringing fresh crunch along with a briny, acidic sharpness that balanced the savory meat beautifully. The garlic-butter French roll held everything together nicely without falling apart, yet remained soft enough to absorb the sauce. I was not nearly as impressed with the tri-tip sandwich, which happens to be their best seller, though I still enjoyed it overall. The tri-tip itself was on point: thinly sliced, tender, medium-rare smoky beef piled onto a garlic-toasted French roll and complemented by tangy BBQ sauce. It delivered smoky, savory, juicy flavors with a satisfying contrast between the tender meat and the crunchy bread, which held the juices well without becoming soggy. That said, I thought the sandwich could have used a little more meat, which likely explains the popularity of the Jump Tri-Tip -- a larger version of the regular tri-tip sandwich that adds more meat on the same excellent bread for only a few dollars more. I also felt the sandwich needed an additional element to elevate it further--perhaps caramelized onions for sweetness, melted cheese for richness, or a sharper horseradish cream or garlic aioli to add more depth and contrast. Service was warm and friendly throughout, and I am always greeted with a smile.

This original location remains my recommended spot for Mediterranean food. Many Mediterranean…read morerestaurants in Fresno County are Armenian-owned, while only a small handful--like this family-run restaurant--specialize in Lebanese cuisine. Lebanese food is widely considered among the best expressions of Mediterranean cooking due to its vibrant use of fresh ingredients, particularly herbs, lemon, garlic, and olive oil, along with a strong emphasis on healthy, plant-based, and grilled dishes. It offers diverse, shareable, and nutrient-dense options such as tabbouleh, hummus, and falafel, making it both flavorful and nutritious. I always enjoy dining at Golden Grill because they exemplify Lebanese cuisine so well. Their dishes highlight fresh herbs like mint and parsley, along with garlic and lemon juice, rather than relying heavily on spices. The result is a light, refreshing, and aromatic flavor profile that feels both vibrant and balanced. The kebabs are excellent. The grilled cubes of beef, chicken, and kafta (ground beef and lamb) skewers are flavorful, tender, and juicy, topped with herbs and grilled to perfection. They carry a subtle smokiness and savory aroma, and the meats are beautifully charred with vibrant color. Their pita and saj sandwiches are also very well done. Each sandwich is warm and carefully assembled, forming a sturdy pocket filled with high-quality ingredients. They combine savory meats (or falafel and vegetables), creamy sauces, and crunchy pickles and onions into a balanced bite. The bread holds generous fillings without collapsing while still being tender enough to bite through easily. The pocket opens cleanly, creating the perfect pouch for the ingredients. For a small restaurant with limited seating that appears to receive many to-go orders, the presentation for dine-in guests is especially thoughtful. The dishes are served on clean white ceramic plates and trays, with the food carefully arranged and portions balanced. It is simple yet elegant and visually appealing. Golden Grill also captures the Lebanese mezze-style dining experience. As someone of Korean heritage, I appreciate this approach, since it is similar to how Korean meals are served with many shared dishes that provide variety in every meal. Some of the shared plates include Lebanese staples like hummus, falafel, tabbouleh, baba ghanouj, and fresh flatbread. Everything here tastes fresh and well-prepared, with distinct textures and aromatic flavors. The signature entrées come with two cold appetizers. The hummus is silky smooth, a velvety blend of garbanzo beans and tahini that almost melts in your mouth. The baba ghanouj is creamy, garlicky, and finished with olive oil. The tabbouleh is bright and balanced with lemon juice, garlic, and a generous drizzle of olive oil that ties together the citrusy and earthy flavors. The restaurant itself is clean, with tables and chairs wiped down quickly after guests leave. Service is friendly, welcoming, and helpful when placing orders. Prices are also reasonable, especially considering many competing Mediterranean restaurants do not place the same emphasis on presentation or on creating a mezze-style dining experience at no additional cost. While some may prefer other Mediterranean cuisines, I personally enjoy the fresh, light, and diverse flavors that Lebanese food offers. Golden Grill's citrus-forward dishes and extensive mezze options make it one of my favorite Mediterranean spots.
