Tried the club sandwich at Jersey Mike's and it was actually really good. The meat tasted fresh, the bacon was crispy, and they definitely don't skimp on portions. Good bye Jersey Mike's! Never again. I had the most delicious Chicken Salad sandwich while visiting Hawaii last year. When I saw it advertised as being available here, I rushed to have another amazing sandwich. It didn't happen! Twice! But it won't happen again. They spread the chicken salad so thin, you can hardly tell there's any on it. The first time I was watching and asked them to put more. I mean, at least cover it from edge to edge. I didn't have the opportunity to watch this time, so not to my surprise, the spread was thin and sparse. And it didn't even taste good. You've been warned. I've been here a few times and again today 05/05/24. My go to order is the Giant Italian. I've had one really bad sandwich where the bread was as hard as a rock. Crumbled before you could get your mouth around it. Was not a pleasant experience. Hurt the roof of my mouth when it was eaten. Since then I've asked for "fresh" bread in the comments when I order and it's been great. I know I shouldn't have to ask but at $20 a pop everything should be perfect. read more

So we purchased four subs from them only to get them home and find that they bread was hard as a rock no exaggeration. So I call to the location only to find that they are closed but still answer the phone. I tell the shift lead about the bread issue only to be told that It not her fault that the bread was hard its the manager Selina's fault! Because she made the bread this morning and that she had nothing to do with it. I said I never blamed you I just wanted to let you know about the issue. She then raises her voice and says if you want your money back then you will need to bring everything back in tomorrow and make sure its refrigerated! I wasn't looking for a refund just letting them know the issue we had so they could make sure it didn't happen again. She told me to talk to the manager in the morning and then hung up. I called in the Morning spoke with Selina, who said she was sorry about that and they should have never made the sandwich's with bread like that and offered to remake them for us. I thanked her for her kindness and accepted the remakes. We had several deaths in the family so were not available to come in that week but came in the following week. I arrived and spoke with the young lady behind the counter told her we had some remakes and gave her the managers name. This is where the wheels engine and everything start falling off. The shift lead Steven goes in the back for several minutes comes out and says those were already picked up! I tell him I know for a fact that they were not picked up since I would have picked them up. He tells me his manager was called and she told him to not remake them. I tell him that must be a mistake because I spoke with Selina and she assured me that they would be there. I then asked him to call her again this time he says she doesnt take calls when shes not at work. I then pointed out that he told me he had just called here at this point he balled up his fists and started shaking. I asked for a customer service number and he said he didnt have one. I asked if it was on the receipt paper to which he started reading me the stores number. I told him that was the stores phone number that he worked at and his face grew red and he started shaking more. I told him to have a great day and left. The following morning spoke again with Selina, she tells me that she was informed by the shift lead that we had come in and got our food. I tell her thats not true and she then tells me a ridiculous story about they have this problem all the time where people just walk in off the streets and tell them they have remakes and give the peoples names for the remakes. I tell her how absurd this story sounds and she doubles down telling me that its been an issue for about a year. I tell her that she should let the area manager know about this as this seems to be a real problem. She tells me that it is and assures me that it wont happen again. She gives me the area managers number. I called the area manager the following day Felipe. (626-833-0101 felipe@jmsubs.biz). He apologizes and again offers to remake the subs. I stupidly accept and again a week goes buy my wife goes in to have them remade and again she is told that we already picked up those subs. The district manager gets a call he sends her to voicemail. He texts me and tells me that Selina told him that we already came into the store and picked up the replacements. I tell him again that we did not and he goes radio silent refuses to accept our calls or txts. I have never seen a group of liars like this in my life. They promise to make it right only to lie lie lie when you take them up on the offer. Apparently they just hand out the remakes to anyone who walks into the place! Avoid this place like the plague. read more

My wife and I have come to this location a few times since moving to Fresno and this is by far the best location we have ever been to! Not only are the sandwiches always fresh and delicious but the customer service we receive is exceptional! Especially from the manager Adrian! He always has a smile on his face and is extremely personable and professional! We always come back here not just for the food, but also because Adrian makes it such a great experience every time! We were dying for Jersey Mike's cuz they are the only sub place that does gluten free subs! We went to the first one.. we arrived and they told us they didn't have enough GF buns after we had paid lol Went to second on 4 miles away ..not enough GF buns (we needed 3) We called this location to be sure...and they said they had them. We arrived and they did!!! Not only did they have them but their customer service was OFF THE HOOK! Yusuf served us and took the time.to SCRUB down everything so it would be gluten free and scoured the grill too! There's nothing new to be said about Jersey Mike's Subs. To me, this is an elevated version of Subway (still love me a tuna sub from Subway) because of their quality of meats and toppings. Get it "Mike's Way" - all the fixins' with the olive oil, vinegar, oregano and their pepper relish. YUM! The only way it falls short is their cookies aren't that great. They had a check-in offer for a free cookie but it was old, hard, and dry. Subway would never do that to me (hello, Macadamia cookie). read more

When I am craving a sandwich for lunch this is one of my main spots. The staff is very nice, food is always fresh. I usually get the medium club sub and it is very filling. The other thing I like about this place is their reward system I have been able to get a number of free sandwiches. Really makes it feel like tour actually earning something as most food rewards take ages to get something to redeem. I highly recommend this place for your sandwich needs. read more

Lol every time I come here I keep thinking "this customer service can be worse" and boy does it get worse. I shouldn't have to feel like an inconvenience or an after thought when I come in to order a sandwich. We came in at 8:40 to order. One person ahead of us and after about 5 minutes, a girl came into the store walked right past us and the guy cutting the meat immediately greeted her (after ignoring us). I was running errands and craving a philly cheesesteak, I pulled up yelp and found that I was near this Jersey Mike's. I ordered a regular philly cheesesteak no chips and no drink and it came out to $9. There is also a yelp check in for a free cookie! They cook the meat right there in front of you, still, the sandwich is made very quickly. The sandwich was really good!! It had a great ratio of meat, veggies and tons of cheese. Last Friday one of my sons visited my wife and I with #13 sandwiches from Jersey Mike's for lunch. This was our first experience with your sandwiches and they were apparently made "MIke's Way" with the rosemary Parmesan bread. What a treat! Today after the women's basketball title game we got a hankering for another sandwich order and we were pleased to discover we have one of your stores fairly close to us on Friant Road. I've been to this location twice this month. Both times I've ordered online. The first time I arrived 10 minutes before my scheduled pick up time expecting to wait for my order but it was already done. Good and bad to that, didnt have a wait but I wondered how long my food had been just sitting there. I ordered the sub in a tub and there we huge globs of mayo in it which was a little off putting but it was good nonetheless. Came here again today. I ordered the chipotle cheesesteak wrap which at first appeared to be very small but it was definitely filling I couldn't even eat it all. It was really good. I was disappointed though that there were no red peppers and I paid $1.50 to add mushrooms and they didnt put them on. Other than that, great lunch and we will be back. read more

This is my absolute favorite sub sandwich place. Always fresh and delicious! I have moved out of the Fresno area , and there isn't a Jersey Mike's subs here . So of course every time I come in to town I absolutely have to have a sandwich here. I always get the # 8 club sub with a little bit of tweaking. This location has always been so accommodating. I like to jump on the app and order my usual (a mini turkey & provolone) when I finish up at the gym and pick up a sandwich on my way home - and the service here has been consistently good for as long as I've been coming here. I really like this location, on Friant near a bunch of other great eateries including The Habit, Butterfish, and Pieology, and it's one of the cheaper lunch options - and quick, too. I like how they pile the sandwiches high here - you get a nice sturdy sub bun topped with freshly sliced meats and cheeses, finished off with thinly sliced onions, lettuce, tomatoes and whatever else takes your fancy. They kinda just pile it high, glug on a ton of olive oil, and place the top half on top where it all just sits together perfectly. These sandwiches kind of defy gravity! The hot sandwich options are good too - I like the buffalo mayo cheese steak and my man is mad for their meatball sub. A mini's enough for me most days and it rings in around $6. I had my first visit to Jersey Mike's yesterday. I was interested in seeing how they do in the Philly Cheesesteak department. I ordered the Big Kahuna with bacon and no Jalapeños. I also ordered the Portabella Cheesesteak and the Original Italian cold sub. The Big Kahuna was good and adding bacon made it gooder. My only gripe was that the bread was a little dry. At my favorite sandwich shop in So. Cal, they griddle the veggies, then put the open roll face down over the veggies & it gets soft. I'm not sure how Jersey Mike's does it. The Portabella Cheesesteak I haven't had yet, but I'm expecting similar results to the Big Kahuna. The Original Italian I really like. It has quality ingredients and the seasoning is on-point. I added bacon to it, because why not? It's been really hot lately, so a nice cold sub hit the spot! Good quality, fair prices, good service. I'll walked in about 10 minutes till close on a Wednesday night with a hankering for a club sandwich. I really wanted Dutch crunch bread from deli delicious but they were closed so I thought the rosemary Parm from Jersey Mike's would be a good next choice. They were all out of rosemary Parm. I was heartbroken. I selected white bread and asked the gentleman working if they would mind grilling up my bread with mayonnaise already on it to give it a little flavor and they were happy to take my request. During the sandwich making process I was thinking of ways I could spice up the plain white bread. So I made another request. I asked them to put a slice of jalapeño without seeds on each side. Normally I'm not this picky because I'm too anxious to make requests, but the restaurant was completely empty and they were so nice, it was easy for me to feel comfortable ordering what I really wanted. I was really impressed that the guys that were working understood what I was trying to do and they worked together as a team to make my sandwich.
