Plus the fact that I showed her a pic of someone else's work, and to get close enough to that picture is good enough for me, especially for the price. Though next time, since she already knows what was done to my hair, I'll expect her to be better. The price I love. It's not cheap to get hair color. The cleanliness is lacking. The sponge to scrub my feet was being re-used, they don't use the disposable foot scrubbers, those little yellow sponges. I saw them rinse the big block of sponge and put it back on the plate where they get their tools to use on other people. The tools are being rinsed with water and put back to dry for later use without properly sanitizing the tools. My toe was bleeding a lot, she was pulling on the skin on the side of my toe nail carelessly, like she yanked off a piece of skin that was sticking out and it was bleeding so much and it's been 2 days, it's still swollen. She spent 5-10 minutes trying to stop the bleeding, she was pretending it didn't happen, no apologies, if she cut me and their tools are not being sanitized properly now I'm really worried for my health. On my previous visit I had a wax done while another employee was on the other bed lying down and talking on the phone while I was getting waxed!!! That went on for 15 minutes. I had lip, eyebrow, and underarms waxed. I guess she was trying to take a nap but her phone was on speaker really loud, I just happen to walk in and ask for waxing. I called in and they said a gray root touch up would be $60 which is for my mom. They encouraged me to get a hair cut quoting $35. They wanted to wash my hair first saying $50 total like OK overpriced but I figured something would be special about the wash like a deep conditioning or something so whatever. HOWEVER, they gave me a horrible bangs hair cut. IDK how you can mess up side bangs as a stylist but indeed this one can. The best way to describe it is that the hair is not blended at all, short and long strands here and there and not complimentary to my face shape. So I asked her to trim it more hoping it can be fixed saying things like "my as well go shorter" and she's doing the careless quick cuts til my face looks round af. The haircut is not face framing at all. I go to beauty schools all the time and no student has even f'd up this hard but being polite, I paid their quoted price. Even though I told them during and after the cut I was not happy with it. I left before my mom did. How is it that my mom leaves paying double??? This woman cannot see so well & then they couldn't even dignify her by staying by their quote. It wasn't even a full head, it was a match of her hair color. She literally walked out paying double. I am returning today to demand they fix the priced and I should have demanded a price reduction for my terrible cut I have to style with clips just to feel better about it. These women SUCK. And it's the same two women. I been here before for my mom just because they're always available (and my mom never does appointments) and now I know why! OTHER NOTES: 1. Found this salon on yelp and I decided to give it a try. My roots were grown out and my previous bleach job had left an orange tint in my hair. I asked them to blend in my roots and get rid of the orange in my ash blonde hair. I was there for about 5 hours and they were kind, patient and thorough. I had some breakage while they were washing my hair but they had already pre-warned me some would happen and they did a deep conditioning treatment in the salon and sent me home with an oil treatment for my hair as a gift. I asked them if my hair was really damaged or if it was okay they said it's holding up and there's only a little damage but when I went home and jumped in the shower so much hair came out I wanted to cry. I wasn't too pleased with this place. It's a mom n pop salon which can be hit or miss when it comes to service. We informed the staff that my eight year old niece was very nervous (she'd finally agreed to get her hair cut after wavering for months). There was only one other client in the salon when we got there. They did not do much in way of trying to make my niece feel comfortable. I understand the language barrier but there is also the vibe you put out and the way you work with clients. They took my niece toward the back of the salon to wash her hair and I followed because she was nervous and I wanted to be nearby. I was not in anyone's way because there really wasn't anyone there. One of the woman kept giving me a dirty look (not the one who was cutting my nieces hair but the other woman working in the salon). I felt uncomfortable so I went back to the front. Then when they moved her to the chair to start cutting, I stood nearby. Again not in anyone's way. The woman kept giving me a dirty look and told me to go sit down. Best decision ever. I have dark hair but keep it bleach blonde and salons can never get the color right - I end up returning for fixes or just overall unhappy with results. This place is a horrible place. They are unprofessional, rude and unwelcoming. We were ignored and not greeted when we came in. I waited 45 mins for my appointment, would have left if my mom wasn't getting her hair done. My daughter got her eyebrows done for the first time, was not offered to see it . When I complained, Helen said she didn't ask for a mirror which is customary to see it. When my mother and I complained Helen told my mother to shut up. This is great little in a spot next to a gas station in Vallejo. It truly is a little gem. It advertises itself as luxury, but that's a bit of a stretch. They do however offer all the services salons do. I've gone twice. First time, I got haircut on 1st day. And second time, decided to give them a try with root touch up, gel manicure, regular pedicure, and even an eye lash lift. The first stylist who cut my long hair used trimmers, and my bangs with actual scissors, then gave it layers with shears. I've never had a stylist trim my hair with clippers before. Thought it was an non-orthodox way of doing it, but the result was still nice. I didn't hate it. Charged $35 for it. Ok, very inexpensive, again, I'm used to different salons. My roots have been growing out for sometime now and decided to get a root touch up. Came back a few days later. The lady who cut my hair was not the same who did the coloring. One lady was talking for the stylist who was going to be coloring my hair. The lady translating and I agreed to root touch up and the balayage highlighted hair to be raised further up the hairline, as it was under the crown level. Well, the stylist started putting foil in my hair and did not do what the lady and I agreed on, she did a full set of highlights on my entire hair. It's been a long time since I've had this look done, almost 6-7 years, so, I went with it. It's a classic look, can't go wrong with it. I just had an underlying feeling that maybe the stylist didn't know how to do more updated hair(?) There were 2 stylists working on the highlight foils. One of them kept patting my head very hard and I was getting really fed up with it. I hate having my head smacked. I feel it's a deal breaker for me. Again, I didn't say much, I knew it wasn't coming from a mean place and the lady was just unmindful of how hard she was actually patting the foil onto my head. Unfortunately the amazing color pictures shown here in Yelp are all the men's work. There are a few from one lady, and she's the one who cut my hair. I don't know where the men are at now, or if they still work there. Well, moving on, the manicurist did a perfect job on both my hands and feet. She also did my eye lash lift. The only draw back was when removing the eye lash lift product , the product got into my eyes, both of them, and it hurt. It stung my eyes and they were watering to get the product out. She gave me a fan to help with the burning sensation, as if this happens all the time. I would get an eye lash lift again, just not here. Price for the lift: $70. Price for the gel mani regular pedi: $60. I would absolutely come back for a manicure and pedicure. She's fantastic. It was a long day, I came in at 10:30a. I was offered water once, and food past 1pm. I did get the water bottle. But not sure what type of food they would of given me. The colorist, while removing the product offered to but an oil in my hair to help with dryness that occurs after highlighting. That said oil was $70. She then dried my hair with a hairdryer that had the air blade attached to it. It concentrates the hot air into an air blade and it kept burning my scalp. (Scalp being tender from coloring and shampoo wash where the lady kept using her nails directly on my entire scalp. I don't have oil build up or dandruff but if I did, this lady will remove all the oils and dead skin cells with those nails) anyway, it was tender and now hot air. The hair was dried, she asked if I wanted it curled. Yes, most salons style after coloring. It's part of the process, I thought. Then after she curled it, she asked if I wanted hairspray. Again, yes. Most salons are putting in product in the hair, either a shine product or simply hairspray. She charged $200. I do love my look, I do love the lifted eye lashes. And I absolutely love my nails. Beauty is painful, take it or leave it, haha. All in total, it was $330. I paid and left a $30 tip. read more

During these covid times seeing my disgusting hair (see pics) I finally committed to get my hair done. Made the call and I made an appointment with Ty, 4 plus hours later my hair was transformed! A little background I have been wanting this color for years & I have been told in the past I couldn't do this type of color in one seating , that it's a process, may take 2 even 3 times of session. So it was exciting to see the transformation. I'm blown away, after one visit ladies Ty is magic. he took his time, i was asking questions and he replied patiently . I do not recommend coming here for a manicure or pedicure. The service was horrible and the worker that did my nails was incredibly rough and rude. Whilst doing my manicure, she continuously over cut my nails. I had received multiple cuts around my nails and cuticles as well as a few scratches on my fingers. She also filed my nail till the part where my skin and nail meet was split open. The worker also continued to twist and tug my fingers with no communication as to what she wanted me to do. I went here because the place in Napa I usually go to couldn't fit me in. With having long hair, I can go months with out getting my hair cut. Ok in this case it was close to 2 years and. I was desperate otherwise I would have walked out The lady who cut my hair said as an afterthought would I like it washed. That was a huge warning sign I ignored. She washed my hair, and then blow dried it before asking how. I wanted it cut. Since. She had dried it straight. I figured, what did I have to lose. The whole time I'm trying to see if she had a license....never saw. It. When she was done, she never showed me how the back looked and I had to ask a waitress that night to see if it was straight. I just didn't care for how she blew dried my hair at the end. I mentioned this to her. I'm quite picky on how to style my hair after it's been washed. My hair is quite fine and wavy is now blown-out properly. It gets frizzy. She semi dried it and that does not help my hair at the end. When I got home I re-styled it with more products so it doesn't stay frizzy. Overall ambiance of the place was ok. It was very hot in the shop. I did a Yelp check in and received 15% off as a first time customer. I would consider going to her again but hopefully she would style my hair better st the end. read more

After one wash hair looked horrible i asked the owner for a refund they told me to ask ty who did my hair and I did and he said no u made me lose my job. Owner obviously doesn't care about how the people who rent their booth treats their clients. Ty bleached my hair I was happy with the result then he said he was toning it then I found out it was actually a second round of bleach. I have short hair to begin with and they definitely up-charged for everything. Prices are listed and should've been under 150. Lowlights, trim, pedicure was $180. Maybe they included tip? I would never want to give a negative review to any small business and even as I write this review I am hesitate but I feel like I need to inform future customer of what my experience here was. To start off I came into the salon 9:30 and showed them what wanted, they made it seem like it was totally possible. They started to heavily bleach my hair but I figured it was part of the process and then my roots and the rest of my hair were dyed. I had mentioned that I didn't want a haircut but I was told it would just be a minor cut to even out my hair. They started to cut it. They do not know how to cut hair that isn't pin straight, I have wavy/curly hair, Not only did they straighten my hair to cut it (after I had said I didn't not like to straighten my hair) they cut my hair so badly that it looked like a mullet. I left with very damaged hair that wasn't close to what I had asked for. I know that I could've been more vocal about my hair but there was definitely a language barrier and they had many clients come in out out that I didn't want to anyone to hear me. I still paid the full $350 plus $50 tip since they did take over 7hours. Another reason why I felt like I should write this review is because they do not sanitize their stations after each client and I didn't ever see them sanitize they hair tools. You would think that due to COVID they would've been even more cautious but they're aren't. I came back the week after - still unfriendly staff but ok - just hair service and this time, the other lady charged me $120 (??????). Came back again but this time I asked the lady how much is my hair service because I was charged 2 different price and I just to be clear. First time trying this place since I left my old place and can't find the time to drive see my old hair stylist . When I got there , was not greeted pleasantly, I had to be the one to say Hi.
