Strange Beast just gets better and better! The pizza the beer the new menu items they're just always top-tier. Any day of the week has something fun for hanging out with friends taking your family or late night vibes. Don't sleep on Strange Beast their team, their food, and the vibes are always on point. Not to mention the service if you like pizza beer and vibes check them out.

The place is small and a good time. We sat at the bar ordered what they considered a favorite has got honey and a lil bit of spice I could have ate it myself soooo good! Had an Irish ale nice and smooth. Nice lil spot to chill and have drinks at def going back.

Okay so I guess I'm the last person to finally visit this spot. I loved it! The vibe is laid back and the li e music was great. Guy on the guitar had some serious skills. We came on a Friday and enjoyed a delightful mushroom.pizza and the truffle airlines potatoes. We had several.glasses of chardonnay and watched how quickly the place got packed. ove the decor as it's a mix of then, now and some cool memorabilia. Staff was real nice and attentive. Only thing I would say is get there early cause parking can be a mission at times, but it's all good and worth it!

The good here never disappoints and they have a great selection of beers - I like the morning glory (blonde ale) and the rizz (Pilsner). My go to pie here is Gen Hogzilla and incredible meat lovers pizza 1 don't forget the hot honey!! Ambiance is always chill here - sometimes can be lively depending on the crowd and whether or not they have a DJ playing when you visit. Service consist of walking up to the counter and placing your order with the bartender. Nothing. Fancy, but it works All in all a great local spot and place to come get good personal pizzas.

The outside looks like any other place, but inside is some delicious beer and pizza! We tried 6/10 of the beers and all were great. And the pizza is so fresh, and I like that they have unique combos for toppings, without being weird or over the top. Definitely recommend!

Had a great experience! Dog friendly and very fun atmosphere. Happened to go during BOGO and Bingo, so it was packed. Looked like fun! Will try to come back for it. The pizza was DELICIOUS. So soft, I want to go back and try all the different ones.

Great experience at Strange Beast in Kendall! As soon as we opened the door and walked in, Rob greeted us and gave us the rundown on the meatball and beer specials. He was super welcoming! He recommended the Robaoke pizza and it was SO good! Vaca frita with red onions and chimichurri! Where else can you get that on a pizza in Kendall?? We also tried 3 other types of pizza and while they all were flavorful, the Robaoke was my favorite. The whole place has such a cool, chill vibe. Rob mentioned their epic Thursday night karaoke, and they have other weekly events that I checked out on their IG page. So glad I heard about this spot!

I LOVE STRANGE BEAST!!! I discovered this place right before the pandemic so it was my go to during that time. The service is always amazing and while the staff changes from time to time they never disappoint. I love the cauliflower bites even though they changed the recipe. The margherita pizza is delicious as well as the lomo saltado pizza. They have various events during the week, my favorites being bingo night and karaoke night. They're open late which is awesome. This is a great spot for date night, casual outing with friends, or a solo date. My favorite day to go is Saturday for lunch because they're not as busy

Strange Beast is my happy place everytime I go there. The pizza makes me happy, the people make me happy, be it the Strange Beast TEAM or customers, because you never know who you might strike up a conversation with !! Maybe you will meet again, maybe you won't. I think it's the beer, it's definitely the beer that makes me happy, good endorphins. Good clean fun. GO PATRICK SWAYZE !! lol. Still one of the best pizzas I've had in Miami! The Willy dropped the sauce and the chopped Pepperoni pizza is my go to. I always add a ton of veggies to the pizza and some chili flakes to give it a kick. The service is really good. Everyone is so nice and playful. It's also a bar. There's rock music always playing and everyone seems to be enjoying their pizza and beer. Wednesdays are trivia nights. Some nights are bingo nights, some nights have live music, etc. Every night at Strange Beast is enjoyable, whether you're participating in the games, having some pizza or you're just there for the drinks. If you're in the area, or even if you aren't! I definitely recommend Strange Beast

Awesome craft brew and pizza joint in West Kendall. Our area needs more places like this to go out close to home! The pizza is excellent, sizable, and affordable, and the rotating local brews they have on tap make up a good selection. Can't wait to taste their own brews when they get up and running. They turned an old quik-e mart into an atmosphere that's so full of life. I love it, I mainly go for the beer (great selections btw) but if you like pizza it's not bad at all either. Definitely a fiver from me. read more

Really enjoyed this brewery and I don't even drink beer!! We wanted to hang out on a Thursday evening and strange beast is near a friends home so we met up here. The place is small but it had a good ambiance. We were able to grab the one table that was available and we ordered some pizza and my husband and our friend ordered some beers. Service was good, pizza was good and they said the beers were good. My only complaint about this place would be parking. The lot is small so it gets full easily. We definitely would come here again. So happy to see a spot like this in the Kendall area! read more

literally the best place. went with some friends and had a blast! the pizza there is so good and you have soo many different options to choose from. along with the food they have the biggest variety of drinks to choose from! each being so delicious! the service is great, everyone there is genuinely such cool people and so sweet. checking if everything is okay and just great energy. the kareoke nights are the best! this place definitely gets packed but its worth the experience, definitely going back :) read more

I really liked the pizza. A lot of options. Great beer! I had a beer made with coffee and as weird as it sounds, I absolutely loved it. I could drink it for breakfast . But I won't . Wonderful service! The gentleman there seemed passionate about there business and engaged with all the guests. Great place to chill with friendship. Great food and great vibe. read more

Nice place. Feels like you are in Wynwood instead of the burbs. Beers are kind bad pricey at $9 so it's hard to be a regular at this place.

We went on Sunday December 27 we advised the manager to clean the tables because there was some people sitting in the table and he completely ignored us then he replied that he was not going to serve us because we had said maybe those people had COVID-19 and there is no temperature taking on the way in so I would go to another brewery where they actually take more action with this Covid-19 issue I WOULD NEVER GO BACK TO THIS SHIT HOLE read more

Love this new place in the neighborhood! Pizzas are very good and come out quickly. The Pepperoni was my favorite, but White Pie is very good too. Great beer selection and very friendly service. Best brewery and pizzeria in Kendall. My buddies and I went out for a few drinks and some pizza and were surprised by how amazing everything tasted. I love the vibe of this restaurant and it isn't something you can find anywhere, for sure!! The pizza was priced very reasonably, and for the taste of them, I would pay even more if I had to. The beer was also great. It isn't like any basic beer such as corona, it has character and a much better flavor to it. The staff is also super cool too! They are very friendly and on top of their job. Would 10/10 recommend to anyone interested in checking the place out. read more

Great pizza and great beer just a little pricey. However it's not a family Pizzaria so don't bring young children. The tv's are constantly playing adult style cartoons which include nudity. The place is also very small so finding a table is challenging. Their menu is very limited and there is not much to choose. Overall I would order out but I would not eat there again. read more

Had a great lunch today with the family! We ordered Doug's white and margarita pizza, both were great! Also tried their beers... pretty good too. The place was clean and had excellent service. I went with 3 little kids and they were very accommodating and never made us feel out of place. My girls loved looking at all the different Godzilla pics on the wall. They actually really liked the name of the place too. Lol. Would definitely go back again! read more

I love this place! I was so excited to see a Lincoln's beard offshoot a little closer to my area. It's a little small, so seating might be an issue on busy nights. The beer list is similar to the beard (thankfully includes Lincoln's best) but not exactly. They had frosé on the menu, but when I asked they sadly said it wasn't available. The pizza is made Neapolitan style. Pretty good, but if you like American pizza it won't be your favorite. Overall Strange Beast is definitely going to become a local hangout. read more

We booked a 6:30 PM reservation so we could grab a happy hour drink before hand. I think the cocktails at the happy hour bar are different from the regular menu. I had an apricot gin cocktail that I didn't love, but was decent and a slow slipper and my husband had a campari cocktail that is great if you like campari. The bartender was accommodating and overheard me asking my husband if he knew how to spritz the lemon peel like she did but he hadn't been paying attention so she did it again. For dinner, I spotted the table next to us dining on the rolls and Caesar salad and decided I wanted both. The server mentioned that salad is one of their most popular. The rolls were light and fluffy, and very large with sweet and savory honey butter. The Caesar salad was good. It comes out as large leafs of romaine, which is a nice presentation but I do think that leads to breadcrumb and dressing distribution being uneven. It was a very good salad dressing though, not too tart or heavy but still creamy and zesty. For our entrees we had the cavatelli with duck ragu which was my favorite. There were both crispy and tender elements to the duck and the pasta just melted in your mouth. We saved a tiny bit of it to take home because we couldn't stop nibbling on it, and it was great the next day too. They brought our steak out after our pasta. We should have specified we wanted them at the same time. By the time our steak arrived we were pretty full. The steak was served tender and juicy. We got the Prime Hanger. I appreciated that the server mentioned their two less expensive cuts were very popular instead of trying to upsell us on their pricier options, as we were very happy with this option. We had some steak leftover as well which was delicious the next day too. As it was perfectly medium rare, we were able to heat it up on a skillet without it overcooking much. We ordered the Bernaise sauce with our steak, but it was not necessary and I probably would have skipped it. Service was good and pretty efficient. They made sure to check on us frequently but the meal was good without any additions. I don't remember if when booking I requested an outdoor table but their patio is quite hot in summer. I think they need some outdoor fans to help with the heat as I was shvitzing a bit. If I were to visit again in the summer I would make sure to specify the need for an indoor table, but I'm sure it's lovely in the winter months. There was also the occasionally fly near our food which did kill the mood a bit and some table fans might help with. There is a gravel parking lot next to the restaurant. When we arrived there was only one spot available so it does fill up.

Two things... BOGO Mondays on their beers and the pizza!! My partner and I have a couple of favorite brews at this place (and Lincoln's Beard), the Lawyers Don't Surf and the P. Swayze. Always yum. And what goes really well with beer?? Yes, pizza. And the pies here are really great. Thin, fresh, and delicious out of their crazy hot oven. I highly recommend the Baby Godzilla add mushrooms (have a look at my pic).
