When I contacted them about the issue, they made promises to refund monthly payments and cancel the loan balance on the alarm system, with the possibility of covering limited liability costs if the police report was consistent with the information I shared with them. But the catch--I can't cancel my account in the meantime, or I will get nothing, and am still on the hook to pay for the alarm components that I no longer have. It took a while to get the police report, but now that I have submitted it, they are reneging on loan cancelation and refunds, even though they confirmed that I am eligible for limited liability payment. Meanwhile, they've been charging me for monthly monitoring, which I know they are not doing because I NO LONGER HAVE THE ALARM SYSTEM. They weren't even monitoring when the system was in place... Stay FAR FAR AWAY from Vivint. This company is a scam.

I decide to just get it done, and so I asked them to hold on for me to secure my cats so they wouldn't run outside. They literally had to take the door off of the hinges! They used that time to go grab tools and a patiently waited for me to let them know when my cats were secured. The job didn't take that long, I didn't actually time it.... Maybe about 40 minutes? They were efficient and really did their thing. So now, my door is fixed and I'm ready to go on vacation. They aren't the closest geographically, but they do serve the entire area.
