    Two flats for making jam.

Every year since I was a child my family has come to buy strawberries from this stand and now that I am an adult, I do as well. They pick the strawberries daily, this means they are not picked bright red for travel and sustainability of sitting at a store and then a fridge. They are picked deep red and heavy with sweet juice. They taste far superior than those bought at grocery stores. My suggestion: Because of this they do not keep as long. I suggest picking them up the day you intend to use them. They are open 7 days a week during strawberry season.

    Locally sourced? Yep

Quick review here. I'm from the MIDWEST. We just don't get treated like this in our town. Fresh? Hell yes! Grown right on the property as a matter a fact. We made our selections and headed hurriedly for the house. The strawberries were some of the best I've ever had. Farm fresh to table is real here. 16 reviews already. Get by there if you are I the area. I was very impressed.

Great strawberries! The Yang family has been running this field for over 20 years. Talk to the locals and they'll tell you they have best strawberries around. They do sell through them quickly, so if you want some be there early. They also have tons of fresh veggies and seasonal fruits. Worth a visit :)

    Monte Vista Strawberries of course!

This has been my go to for fresh fruit and veggies for the past 14 years. I'm so excited every spring when the strawberries are ready for harvesting! They are the best on the planet. We are moving to Arizona soon and this place will absolutely be missed by my whole family.

Best strawberries around, and that's saying a lot in the Central Valley. Put them in the back seat if you want them to make it home

I never buy fruit anywhere else but here. My daughter one time got a free strawberry for looking adorable. I recommend this highly.

Great quality. Great prices. Support your local economy, and you don't get much more local than this.

We moved to Florida and one of if the first things we did was to see who sold them. Publix did and does Their season begins around the middle of July thru the last week in Sept. The honeys are ready to be eaten the day you purchase them. The orange the same. These melons are the sweetest you will ever taste! I think from time to time Fresh Market and and Whole Foods sell them. We eat at least 2 large size honey or orange dews a week They are also known as King Of The West Each melon is labeled Turlock. How often does anyone describe the pleasure of eating THE SWEETEST OF ALL TIME? ''Tis my pleasure. ENJOY!!!

The asparagus from the Peacock Farm was so fabulous that I returned this morning determined to purchase more (only two bunches remained among all asparagus available .. and I again chose Peacock's)! But, the amazing thing is that I live for the day when "King of the West" honeydew's arrive at Publix in July or so ... and I know from the day Publix opened its first store in our fair city that we can count on Turlock's to get these melons this far east! Publix pretty much has a monopoly on these special melons, although I have seen an occasional KOW melon in a rival grocery. I wish I lived closer to CA to see what other wonders Turlock's display/sell. Sandra Butler
