Farmer John's really spent time and resources making upgrades to everyone's experience when they visit. One of the most noticeable improvements was the concrete paths that have been poured, circling the attractions. This makes the farm completely stroller friendly and so much easier for moms with young kids. My daughter also got to do the pony ride which was such a special treat for her. I should also note that it was only $15 to get in. We went to another pumpkin patch here in the valley that charged just as much, but had way less attractions, amenities and things to do. They charge $15 to get in, but it was discounted to $12 per person since we went on a weekday. My daughter is almost 2 years old, and the main attraction that she was interested in the animals. Since it was not too busy, she also got to enjoy the giant pillow bouncer. We ran through bales of hay, played in the corn pit, and enjoyed some fresh homemade pumpkin bread from the snack shack. Overall, we had a great time despite being able to utilize many attractions since she wasn't old enough. I would say that the rest of the attractions would be perfect for ages three and up. I should also mention 2 & under are free, so there's quite a bit got a two year old to do considering. We hung around for over two hours having fun as a family, until the mosquitoes started coming out after sunset, If you're local to the area, I definitely think it's worth the visit! I visited early October so hopefully they keep their stalk up. It is cute for pictures ! They also have a flower garden , but due to the heat some of the flowers were dead. The maze was pretty tricky and fun. I want to go back and try at night. It was super hot in the day but I still enjoyed it. It is a huge maze with lots of directions you could take ! The owner offered us complimentary cold water bottles after which was sweet of her. They have a little mini haunted house which is appropriate for kids ! I wish they would have had food when we went , but we went pretty early in the season . I believe they only have food on weekends. I would def recommend a visit for the maze and pumpkins. The kids and adults all learned so much about tortoises, and the whole experience was incredibly informative, hands-on, and just so cool. How often do you get to get up close and personal with giant tortoises like that?! The owners were so knowledgeable and kind to open up their home and space to all of us. You can tell how much they care about their animals and sharing what they know with kids. Such a fun and unique experience, and we can't wait to come back again with my youngest for his field trip!

Unfortunately, the experience quickly changed due to the rude behavior from the owners. During our visit, the owner yelled at the children - YELLED. This video is just a small example of what happened. There were multiple instances where both the man and his wife raised their voices not only at the kids, but also at the parents. While the children still managed to have fun, the overall environment felt stressful and uncomfortable for many of us. We understand that managing large groups of young kids can be challenging, but the way the situation was handled made what should have been a positive field trip feel uneasy and disappointing.
