I took initial time off to rest and heal but when it was time to reengage my body I realized that it was going to be a LOT harder than I thought. I was so frustrated, at first. Erin remained patient with me and really worked with me to address the concerns I had about re-injuring myself but still wanting to make progress. She helped me emotionally and physically. 2) Pre-natal! When I found out I was pregnant, I was really excited but worried about how I was going to be able to keep up with pilates. I had severe lower back/sciatic nerve pain throughout the pregnancy (plus lingering injury from previous car accident!) and she helped me modify every exercise to fit my needs. She even did research outside of our appointments into various exercises and ways to keep me comfortable while moving forward. Erin's encouragement, patience, discipline, experience and kindness are above and beyond what you will find in any instructor. She is a diamond and I am lucky that I found her! She's also helped me recover from some sporting injuries. I appreciate that over the 4-5 years working with her, as my instructor, that she has continued to study and add to her knowledge and skill. I've seen her work wonders with many people that previously had injuries or physical limitations that needed rehabilitation or special care. She's simply exceptional. By session 2, my son was more familiar with proper alignment and I could see small changes and core stability improving. Every session showed more improvement. This kind of education for parents and young athletes is golden. Dr. Gabriel knows his stuff, and he's great with young athletes. Everything has been a band aid so far. I was having a pretty serious flare up and came to see Dr. Gabriel. In one session he took me through an assessment, pinpointed the muscles that were giving me problems and did several treatments that took away my pain. That was several weeks ago, and I am still pain free. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Gabriel for any pain (physical, spiritual or emotional) that you need freedom from. He is able to treat your mind, body and soul.

There was a problem with the facility apartment insurance request. I paid and submitted the forms about a month prior to move-in and the first bill over 6 weeks later included a fee for not having insurance. I tried contacting the billing office and requested a call back to get things clarified. This did not happen and the problem was not fixed. I again went to Francine who has been my anchor at the Clairmont to get problems fixed. I finally received approval of the policy on October 17th but I had submitted the information in early August! In addition the bill itself was incorrect. The dinning room food has improved, per my father, but the utensils are still awful! I do wish your administrative staff would try using the forks at the facility and imagine that they have arthritis in their hands as these residents frequently do. My dad does better with most plastic forks than the forks supplied at the Clairmont. Please, this should be an easy upgrade. One thing we really appreciate is the ability to have a pet and to have a fenced "yard" area outside of their apartment. I think this adds a homey feel for many of the residents. Better water access would be a plus for those with outside plants. You have outside waste bins for doggy waste but no plastic bags at the one outside of the building for the last 6 weeks. Your showers do not have safety bars inside of the shower, Since most of the residents at this facility use walkers, canes or wheelchairs, why do you think it unnecessary to have a safety bar inside of the shower? This would be a considerate and wise upgrade for the apartments. Overall, we (the family) really like this facility and the people who live and work there. My Dad is still adjusting......

She even ran a few minutes late for her next appointment because she didn't want to rush our conversation, which I really appreciated. As a cash patient, I was also pleasantly surprised that they offer an interest-free payment schedule. That kind of flexibility makes a huge difference. Highly recommend. It's honestly refreshing to see healthcare moving in such a positive direction.

Not the $49 visit I expected…read more I signed up for One Medical because I saw a $49 price for a video visit. Instead, I received a $335 bill to my insurance, which resulted in a $120 bill to me because I hadn't met my deductible. When I called, I was told that I had scheduled a regular visit rather than using the free "on-demand" option available with the membership. I explained that I found the distinction confusing, but the representative essentially told me it was my fault for not reading the fine print. When I asked to escalate the issue, he initially told me there was no way to do so. I eventually reached someone who escalated it, but the escalation manager's response was essentially the same: they weren't willing to do anything about the bill. They did offer a 12-month interest-free payment plan, but I declined because it required giving them a credit card. With their deceptive practices, I'm scared to see what they do with my credit card. For $99/year for the membership I ended up paying more than my regular doctor for a routine video visit. I'm cancelled my membership.
