I downloaded yelp just to give these people a review. I have been having issues when I brake going over 40 mph for almost a year. & also a week before I was supposed to go get my diagnostic done my check engine light came on randomly. I seen the 5 stars so these were the 1st people I called. I was told on the phone a full diagnostic would be $130. I go in to drop my car off and was told with my check engine light I would have to pay $178?! Idk how it jumped to that, but I had the money I needed to get a full diagnostic done to see what was wrong so I just paid it and left my car there for over 24 hours. Get a call the next day and they tell me "we don't know why your car is shaking it gave us an abs code and we need more time to read the codes and that's an extra $100& my car had to stay over night AGAIN?? Then I was told my thermostat needed to be replaced and my coolant was leaking through the upper and lower hoses (this car is a 2016 Dodge Dart. 3 years old ?!) they gave me an estimate of $1,300 ?! So I went to get a second opinion and guess what? NO LEAKING, thermostat is fine, and the best part they actually fixed my brake issues because the routers were warped and they fixed it for not even $200. Anyways these people tried to take all my trump money basically. Don't know how they got 5 stars. read more

Brought in a used car for a preinspection after all of the great reviews we read here on yelp. Unfortunately I was not all that impressed. My husband says they did what they said they said they were going to do, that's "just" it. No more/no less. Robert did not go over the inspection report at all with"us". We had to ask all the questions. I know in one review it stated that they even gave a list of things that would need to be done vs. What needed to be done now/soon. I felt that he left it up to us to "draw" our own conclusions. No recommendations whatsoever. He did say it was in pretty good shape. With all the other reviews. I expected a little more/better customer service. Not great! But not "bad" either just so so. read more

Their prices are two to three times higher than other places. $51 to change an air filter that I later bought at Auto Parts for $11. 00 and they did it for me. $120 to replace a headlight that my factory service center later charged $60 for. Always get a second opinion. Will probably be more reasonably priced elsewhere. read more

A COMPLETE FRAUD Yes the staff was friendly and great to talk to. Then they will cheat you all they can. I brought a jeep in for a full inspection. I was afraid it needed too much work to be worth it. Paid the full $75 fee for an inspection (this wasn't some, hey what can you tell me for free thing). They called me 4 times to tell me what they recommended fixing, kept adding to the list, I kept asking if the inspection was done and they would say no. Finally they come up with about $2000 in repairs and said it would run great so I gave them the go ahead. We were back in the shop in 6 weeks, a hose blew out completely, and when I asked how they missed it I was told "well we don't touch any of the hoses because they looked so bad they might break" I was NOT told this from the inspection before doing all that work. 2 weeks later it broke down and had to be towed. I took it to the dealer. It needed $4000 worth of work. I sent a certified letter to the owner with copies of receipts detailing this entire issue and he did not even have the courtesy of replying to the letter This place will talk nicely, be friendly and CHEAT you in every possible way. read more

Randy is the nicest, most professional mechanic- representative at Street Tech Auto. I had my 2003 honda element serviced today and it flies!! I'm impressed with the team of mechanics- their efficiency to complete about a dozen repairs my car needed, arnd their integrity to not rob me blind (Randy was kind enough to look for multiple discounts Street Tech offers) is commendable. ALSO! Randy was friendly to offer me advice and answer all my "silly" questions about cars with patience and courtesy. I appreciate good customer service..and my well-tuned car too! Robert was extremely rude, I went in to get my engine diagnosed. He didn't listen to my concerns at all and proceed to tell me that my catalytic converter was failing. We had words about what would potentially cause the cat to fail, at which he told me to just come pick up my car because I wouldn't accept his blind diagnosis. I have never felt more disrespected in my life. These people treat their customers with no respect and their techs only look at engine codes, not the actual car. Would not recommend, and am upset that i wasted 105 dollars when I have a code scanner at home. read more

Absolutely amazing!!! I've got a 10 year old Chevy Tahoe with 235K plus miles that needed some TLC. Street Tech provided me with the knowledge on how to baby an old car instead of milking my wallet on unneccessary repairs. I come by occassionally inbetween oil changes and they check the fluid levels at no to very minimal costs. I thought this type of service no longer existed - Well, it does at Street Tech.
