I've been a member since before the storefront opened. As soon as I heard about this place, I went to check them out and they were doing complimentary stretches outside. I signed up right away. I've had several different people attend to me because most finish school and then go in to other occupations. I've never had a bad stretch. Come in and talk to Devin, she's the manager and will be glad to get you started. I'm not sharing my faves because I want to be able to get an appointment with them. lol read more

I love getting stretched by Charlene she is the best. I had a sciatic issue and it went away by stretching the chiropractor was just not relieving my back pain. She listens to what is bothering me and seems to fix it every time. I have been going for a few years never want to miss. She makes me feel good. A friend recommended I check out Stretch Lab. I live in Long Beach and the Marina location is not officially open yet, but they are working outside under the protective canopy of the other buildings, which works out just fine. My official opinion: AAA+++, and a "WOW" thrown in for good measure. I have had 7 back surgeries and I am awaiting surgery to replace both hips. I am in constant pain and have great difficulty walking. I have been there three or four times now, and I come off the table walking comfortably and pain free. For a 65 year-old man with degenerative bone and joint disease, I find Stretchlab and indispensable part of my new routine. Outstanding ownership and professional staff. I can't believe I haven't reviewed StretchLab! March 6, 2021 was my first experience and I haven't looked back since. I've been a member since they opened up the location in LB around June/July the same year. I've tried a lot of "free trial" things in the past 2 1/2 years, and of all the things, this has stuck. First of all you leave feeling great and a 'lil invincible because your body tells you so. Besides a regular workout and adjustments when you are a physical being, having an assisted stretch is probably one of the best things you can do for yourself. Whether it's to get your body back in shape, help with recovery, or generally maintain your physicality STRETCH LAB is the place. The positive vibes you get walking in the door is just for starters. I look forward to these sessions every week spiritually and physically, because I walk away feeling like I've done something very important for myself. The Flexologists who assist you come from all kinds of backgrounds and understand how the human body should work. A customized session for your needs is just moments away and they measure your progress as you go. I know I sound like an advertisement, but I just don't know how else to explain it, you leave their feeling great. Call and talk to Stephanie the most positive person on the planet, she will line you up with the right person to help you out. I've seen multiple flexologists, but Charlene is my favorite. They advertise for a full hour session for half price. Then charge you for a full hour & try to reschedule another half hour for free. Very unethical & deceiving for your potential new customers. The session wasn't worth the cost, even at half price though. If I we're running this franchise I would definitely be making some key changes. read more

I have to start out by saying that the actual people who do the stretches here are absolutely fantastic. But the owner and customer service is so terrible that I have to leave 1 star. I was a member for 6 months and it was great but then all of a sudden they started to reschedule my appointments to different times and with different people without even notifying me. This happened 3-4 times and then I decided to cancel. Since I was unable to use any of my remaining credits, I asked for a refund. This is where things got crazy. The owner Steve called me and was condescending and rude. He spoke to me like I was a 2 year old that was too stupid to know what was going on. He acted like I should expect a business to just randomly change my appointment and talked down to me when I said that was unreasonable. It's pretty clear from this interaction what Steve thinks about women. So since he refused to refund the money I had paid for services that I could never receive, I disputed the charges with my bank and won. But of course, Steve won't give up. I now get weekly emails demanding payment for the service I didn't receive as well as the chargeback fee and a late fee. I absolutely do NOT recommend getting involved in this business. They are clearly not trustworthy or honest. read more

There is a weird culture going on there. I think it is an extension of the "safe space" thing from a few years ago where kids needed to be coddled. I got into a few poses where I was uncomfortable and mentioned them to Sarah, my 21 yo flexologist that day, and she tattled on me for being sexually inappropriate and a racist. I am a very conservative senior citizen who has many black friends and family and I was uncomfortable and i couldn't voice that? Where is MY safe space? I got accused by management, and then ownership, and then canceled. So not cool. It was fun until it got weird!!!! I have since found another stretch spot for half the price with a MATURE black man who also does massage, and then I can get a facial at the same place!! So happy to move on!!! The young and handsome black man there was a consummate professional, it was Sarah who made it weird. read more

Working from home has its perks, but sitting in front of my computer all day is making me so stiff and sore! I've been getting stretch therapy once a week for about 6 weeks now, and it seems to be helping! I would totally go twice a week...but it's EXPENSIVE! And you have to sign a contract for at least 3 months! That's the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. It's pretty out of reach for most folks, because folks would need to sign up for a series of classes. Once is not going to do it. But...if you can afford it, you should totally do it. I was interested in checking out the Stretch Lab service. On their website they offer a $49 introductory stretch offer. AFTER making the $49 purchase I was shown the appointment schedule and found out that they have no availability of any time that would work for my schedule for the coming weeks. I immediately called the location and requested a refund. The person I spoke with basically told me that a refund was outside of what he was able to do and gave me an email address for the manager to request a refund. I again immediately emailed requesting a refund, explaining my situation with my limited availability between work and school thus am requesting a refund. I never heard back on that email. Two days later someone from this location called wanting to schedule me an appointment and I again explain to this person that I was unavailable for the times that they did have available and again requested a refund for the $49. She said she would direct that request to the manager and somebody will get back with me. I have yet to hear back from anybody. I have sent multiple email request for a refund. Seems like one of these companies at once they get your money they don't want to give it back. So be careful with booking with them, especially since they want you to subscribe to a service. It seems that they'd rather pressure you to get an appointment rather than cancel that service or give you a refund for a service they are unable to provide. read more

I have been with Stretch Lab for almost a year. All the flexologists are great and the front desk staff too! When I had knee surgery it was easy to put my account on hold until I was cleared to go back. When the app was giving me problems they were quick to help me solve the issue. Whenever something comes up, I get a text to let me know. Recently, I was diagnosed with frozen shoulder. I have been seeing Sarah who used to work with a PT I saw a couple years ago. She understands what needs to be done and is working so hard to get me back to "normal". She assigns exercises for me to do at home and we are making progress. I LOVE Sarah! I know with her help, I will get my full range of motion back. read more

I joined StretchLab 9 months ago because I noticed I had lost a great deal of flexibility and my hips were hurting when I walked short distances. I have been working mainly with Charlene. We have gained a good working relationship where I trust her to stretch me to my comfort level and push me slightly beyond to make progress. I like waking up the next morning feeling that I have been more active but not hurting. I felt I was making progress but last Tuesday, I had proof. I went to Disneyland at 9 AM and returned home at 11 that night. I had walked all day and never once did my hips hurt or did I feel especially tired. I am 73 years old and I was elated that I felt so good. I credit this to StretchLab. I am deeply indebted to Charlene's skill and encouragement! I had scheduled a session with the owner Steve, and we had a Courteous conversation over the phone. However, just a few hours before my session, I received a phone call informing me that my session had been canceled. The receptionist advised me" call back to reschedule." These types of business practices are both irresponsible and not sustainable. Staffing is the fundamental element of running a sustainable business. I have seen several flexologists over my two years but Sarah is by far the most attentive and knowledgeable flexologist at this location. I have not had a bad experience with any of the others that I have seen. Stretching is vital for me with the physical requirements of my job. I started StretchLab when this location opened. I am extremely happy with my membership originally thinking I'd only do it for the initial 3 months. I workout regularly doing CrossFit so my muscles have always been very tight. Since going to StretchLab, I found I have much more flexibility and my workouts have improved. I also was seeing a chiropractor weekly and now I rarely have to go. My favorite flexoligist is Justin. He is able to do things to my muscles I could never do myself.
