In the past month, I've had two unpleasant experiences at the gym. First time,I arrived and left immediately because the air ducts smelled like mold. Tonight, the smell was even worse--it smelled like sewage. I asked the front desk clerk about the issue, and she was kind enough to say that a plumber had come to assess the pipes and found no problem. I appreciated that she took the initiative to open the doors and air out the place, but it was still rank. Now, let's talk about the upstairs area. My boyfriend and I were concerned a couple of months ago when we noticed three huge cracks across the entire length of the cardio equipment work area. Needless to say, this issue made me feel unsafe, so I decided to work out downstairs that day. When I asked about it at the front desk, the clerk said he would bring it up to the manager. However, the cracks are still there. But the smell is the worst part. It's just awful. I'm starting to consider looking at other gyms because this place seems to be getting worse and worse.

Walking into…read moreSymmetry is like walking into Cheers because everyone who works there knows you and genuinely cares about you. I can't come up with a good TV show analogy for interacting with other clients and it's hard to describe how you end up feeling supported and supportive of another client working out across the room but you do. There is something about Symmetry that makes everyone feel comfortable, relaxed, and included and that is so unusual in the best way. It's something you'll feel when you walk in the door. And fair warning, you can also expect to have Jay throw something at you as you walk in and yet strangely, you look forward to it. The best way to get a sense of what it's like to be a Symmetry client is to take advantage of the free consultation offer. But if you're like me & want a sense before u set foot inside the door then u should check out the testimonials on their website. I tried to cut & paste mine here but it exceeded the text limit! Actually everybody should read the testimonials. When u look at their testimonials you will see the diversity of the clientele and how much we care about the gym & our respective trainers. The testimonials offer a very detailed and genuine peek into the gym so to speak. It's rare for a gym to get so many clients to actually write out testimonial -- even rarer for them to be so open and personal. That's true with respect to Facebook too. How many gym's have pages that customers actively engage with? They go beyond sharing just fitness info and celebrate their clients on that page & their clients appreciate it (yes, I am speaking from experience ). Symmetry is a like personalized gym community -- whoever u train with is going to work WITH you to accomplish YOUR goals. Everybody at the gym is going to cheer you on whatever those may be.

The Doc wanted to open me up again or start injections and the PT didn't know what to do for me anymore. They told me I should plan on only doing pilates or swimming from here on out, but that wasn't going to work for an active person such as myself. It ended up being weakness in my last two toes which Jason had an exercise for along with the rest of the weak parts in my body. Needless to say, I've discontinued seeing both of those previous advisors and have started my journey back to a stronger, healthier me with SYMMETRY. (I mean, why would you ever resort to treating something if you could prevent/stop it from happening in the first place?!) Symmetry is a no-brainer.

I did some research on the gyms near my sister's home in Naples. Addicted to fitness seemed like the best bet but was concerned if it had enough of the equipment I needed based on reading the website. For a change it was the website underselling just how good this place really is. Image you were a billionaire and had your own gym for you and your friends to use. What would I expect? That it wouldn't be a massive set of treadmills it wouldn't be a pocket gym with no manager just a card. The place would have been decorated not feel like a basement. The staff would welcome you by name. There'd be free wi-fi access to water and coffee and men and woman's bathrooms with showers. The machines would be new and in pristine shape. Owners Jon and Michelle were welcoming and actually took the time to show me which machines I'd need to do each part of my routine. Normally YOYO unless you have a trainer. But yes they have those too. Paraphrasing Ms Riding hood not too big not too small just right. And did I mention the free wifi and being called by name?

Friendly, informative, and flexible staff. Upon entering the private room that housed the sauna she explained how to sit, hydrate, and importance of wiping away toxins as you sweat. The sauna functioned perfectly however the blinking LED light made it less homeopathic than expected. I'd love to see appropriate timing, calming/healing colors, and offering typical personal touches like infused waters, teas, robes and slippers between experiences. The salt cave was a chilly room with accented lighting. Don't fret amazingly soft blankets are waiting for you on the chairs. Lighting included: very obtrusive/bright if you say near the moon, blinking lights in the ceiling behind a black canvas, softer more appropriate lighting distributed evenly on the walls. The floor was sand, not dangerous to walk on. There were a few crystals of salt in baskets, on the wall, or on the ground. The cave parts appeared to be spray foam so more decor than homeopathic. The background sounds were nice and with a little imagination you were transported. I felt a tad restricted and minimizing my overall experience as I couldn't speak with my guest in the salt cave for fear of disturbing the other 6 patrons inside with us. Waiting anywhere is inevitable however you redress and wait in lobby between sauna and salt cave session which was not thoroughly explained before booking for upon arrival. So to be relaxed and toxin free, to then put on my street clothes and wait, and the bright outside lights and noise enter the tranquil indoors with each new patron. The spa pack their schedule so tight I'm concerned at the level of cleaning between people especially given the moist hot climate of a sauna and it was less enjoyable as I felt I needed to rush out as to not delay the next person for the sauna but then wait in to allow salt cavers infromt of me to finish. Great online promotions, $75 for two for salt cave and sauna. I'm sure this establishment will elevate the experience and perhaps have more return customers with better scheduling, small touches, and a separate waiting area for those checking in vs. waiting for the next experience.
