My instructor was very nice (Jill) but it felt very rushed especially for a new student coming into the a barre studio for the first time. At the end of the class Jill and the desk person tries to pressure you to buy more classes, which is super annoying. I just took my second class today hoping it would be more organized and paced well. I signed up for a 5:30 class and showed up exactly at 5:30. When I walked in the class had just begun, but the front desk woman reprimanded me and said with an attitude that if I was going to be late I should have called ahead and that people my age seem to always be late to everything... BIG turn off. The class was just okay. The pace is rushed, and it feels like the instructor is just trying to get you to do as many combination of movements as possible in 45 minutes. The class was also jam packed, there was not enough room for everyone, they should definitely make a maximum guest policy to avoid this. Won't be coming back. Some of the workers (especially the front desk older woman) acts like they are high and mighty just because they work at a well known fitness club. There are so many BETTER local barre and fitness studios nearby that are personable and friendly!

Absolutely horrible. The front desk workers, especially the older/middle aged woman with red hair is extremely rude. She is very demeaning and makes you regret walking in. The best way to describe this customer service is that they believe they are better than you, unfortunately. The workout itself. I would give it a 7/10. It is a decent workout, if you are new to barre or pilates you will feel the burn. However is it worth the price, no not at all. I could easily find a YouTube video with the same type of instructor and complete the same workout at home. The instructors kind of just move through the motions. There is no "let's go!" energy, there is no hands on or verbal support to fix postures to limit injury, and there really is not much of a personable experience. If you are looking for a GREAT, personable, individualistic barre class this is not where you should go. Literally more than half the class is lost and not sure how to fix their form and it's very unfortunate to see. I highly recommend THRIVE barre in Pelham if you are looking for an awesome high energy motivating class where you will be helped all areas. I was very sad to be let down by pure barre, as it is so close to my house. I will not be returning and I really recommend that you look elsewhere.

I like the pace of the workouts and the instructors are always friendly. Some of them do a good job of helping you correct your form and do modifications when needed. Only complaint is that there isnt a dedicated area to put your stuff (keys, jacket) - so its always a bit of a jungle near the entrance and I dont like putting my stuff on gym equipment.

This is totally unacceptable that there was no one to supervise her and it is unsafe. I called the Little gym and I requested to the staff that this can not happen again but the staff member just hung up on me without reassuring that this won't happen again. They are charging about $340 an hour and still want a tip, I hope with this rate they pay their workers well? That is not including any food or drinks, just generic plates and tablecloth. I voiced my disagreement for mandatory tip and they removed it. We ended up tipping anyway at the end of the party, but including a tip without first mentioning it at initial phone call was wrong.

I've been to enough gyms to see that cleansing is not always the case. If you leave it up to the patrons or members, then chances are you're going to see evidence of someone's sweat lingering on the equipment you plan on using. While not overly huge (other UFC gyms are larger), it's sizable enough depending on what you're planning to do. There's more than enough bags to use, a speed bag, treadmill, benches, bikes, elliptical machines, and other random things. There's gloves you can borrow for a bout with the bag, but make sure you sanitize when you're done. There's plenty of UFC merchanise available to purchase as well depending on what you're interested in. There's also an octagon cage available for classes and practice, My son's in one of the classes there and the instructor is great. I really wish there was a mma/jujitsu class around back in my youth, The staff is always friendly. It's located on the corner in a fairly busy section of White Plains. Street parking is horrendous and the meter police are all over the place looking for any excuse to get White Plains money - so park in the municipal parking lot behind the building - it's about $1 an hour. So overall a great gym. I plan to get a membership soon myself to pound on the bags at will. If you're curious, I would ask about a trial membership. Recommended.

I was a member for a year in mamaroneck and loved it there but once white plains gym opened I decided to change my gym to the ufc in white plains. I regret my decision. Staff members are rude there! Very disrespectful! I cancelled my membership back in November and my bank account let me know in December that ufc gym tried to take out monthly charge! I was surprised, called ufc immediately. The young girl up front answered and was very rude. I talked to a manager named Jeff back in November he said everything was fine, after the upcoming payment was paid I would not be charged and membership would be cancelled. A few days ago a third party collector called me about ufc .. And I was surprised again! I called ufc and Damien, the GM, spoke to me. He let me know Jeff is no longer there and whatever Jeff has told me about my account being canceled is a lie. He also said I needed to pay for December! It's ridiculous! I asked to speak to someone higher than him and he transferred me to the owner Dean Ballantoni.... ITS BEEN A WEEK AND THIS GUY HAS NOT CONTACTED ME BACK! All ufc staff member keep saying is I have to pay the month of December, which I never attended once and didn't even know my account was still not cancelled. I will never forget the day I first met some of the BR region Masters ( Master Christine, Master Jo…read more, Master Arthur and volunteer staff!) at the awaken fair for an aura reading and chair massage. Automatically you feel a wave of welcoming, humble, loving energy emitting from them . Its quite emotional and funny to talk about it right now( I started in October 2021 )as I reminisce on how much this center has helped helped me get to where I am now. When I first stepped foot into the Wellness center, I noticed the calming energy and plants , I was welcomed by Master Susan, Which I had a great conversation with while I got set up . Master Jo then gave me a thorough and mind blowing Intro session That planted a seed of hope inside me... especially with my Health Conditions and worries (Asthma , anxiety, insecurities, Ulcerative Colitis). I no longer suffer from this anxiety! I have released so much stress and trauma in my body. I no longer have to use my emergency inhaler during the winter time ! I no longer need my medicine for my autoimmune disease! I have so much more love , confidence and trust in myself ! Thanks to all the brain education, the classes, finding my true self work shop and the instructors, all of this was made possible. I took back my brain and my life . This is my safe haven . They truly care about you beyond the symptoms and emotion that burden us and teach you how to balance your stress and energy system. I continue to choose myself by tapping into my self healing potential, investing in myself through brain education and practicing in daily! My mind , body and soul are thriving!
