I am a general contractor and went to Strictly Stones for natural stone and porcelain shopping. They are showing lots of good stuff on their displays and the prices seem reasonable. I bought what I needed and went to their warehouse which is a few minutes away but the quality of their material in their warehouse wasn't even near what they showed me in their showroom. There were a lot of cracks in their natural stones and the color of the porcelains were different too. I then came back to the store to cancel my order but the manager in charge was a very rude person. He simply didn't want to cancel my purchase and return my money back. He was arguing with me and put me on hold while he was answering other customers. It took me an hour to get my money back. Never visit this store! Horrible customer service. read more

Don't even get close to this store. My experience with this store hasn't been anything but just plain nightmare. I saw a marble called "Crema Marfil" on their wall that I liked very much. It was clean, consistent, free of any issues. The grade was premium and so was the price. I went to their warehouse and was shown a pallet of the marble and they looked good too. So I ordered a lot of them (about $5,000) and asked my installer to pick them up (for $400). My installer picked them up and started to install them. Later that day I came home to realize that these marbles are anything but the premium. They had cracks going from the front of the tile all the way to the back of them. They were glued together. Not one, not two or three. ALL of them. I then took a few samples and went back to the store and talked to the store manager (Chris) and the sales person (Thomas). They wouldn't take them back and told me to "go pound sand". I told them, I will dispute this transaction with my credit cared company. They said, "do whatever you need to do". Chris and Thomas were very rude and unprofessional. And so I took 100s of pictures from the cracked marbles and filed a complaint with my credit card company. Yesterday I learned that my CC company agreed with me and refunded my money. This purchase from the wrong company has cost me one month so far and I still have to take them back to the store. Who is going to pay for the deliveries (both ways)? A note: as part of the process I learned that the store next door is also owned and operated by the same crooks. Avoid them too. Don't believe all their 5 star ratings. They have lots of employees who can write these reviews. read more

Tomasz has been so much help during our house remodel and I highly recommend contacting him for all stone, tile and flooring needs. I was first recommended to reach out to him to find a granite slab for my oversized island. He was always so helpful and prompt in texting me back with updates on my search. His pricing was always the best around and today I finally went into the store and met him. He has so much energy and is just a happy guy. We were told about this place from a contractor who came to do an estimate. He told us to ask specifically for Tomasz. We had checked Home Depot, Lowe's, and Floor and Decor and nothing was really what we were looking for. After walking into Strictly Stones, we asked for Tomasz and he was right there. He was finishing up some work and told us he would be with us in a minute. After wandering, it seemed the tile would be way out of our price range. Tomasz came and found us, introduced himself, and asked us what we wanted, and how much we wanted to spend. He took us over to look at options in the price range which were in another part of the store. He answered all the questions we had, explained things, and never tried to pressure us to buy something more expensive. My experience purchasing tile at Strictly Stones and State College Distributors had been going really well, until I returned samples for a refund of a $10 deposit. Granted the deposit was months old, but the tiles were in excellent shape and I was finally completing my order. Danny (was told this was the person's name at the time. Now editing this after 2 years since another employee wrote and told me the name is wrong. Sounds like whoever it was is still there) at Strictly Stones (who I had never worked with) has a serious mental problem and should not be working in a customer facing position. He mocked, berated and escalate the discussion into an argument, that led to both of us yelling at each other. Fortunately management saw clear to refund the $10. I mean really, you are going to lose a $700 sale over a $10 deposit? The staff at State College Distributors is great. read more
