So disappointed. I placed an order for parts on 7/16/25. I wasn't notified until today that the order was going to be cancelled for fraud. I ordered the parts with my card, but put the order my husbands name. This made the shipping and billing address different from each other, making them flag it. This happens, no worries. My husband and I call customer service, explain the situation, and confirm my information. After everything, our order was still canceled. Unfortunately one of the struts we received was defective. We installed it and immediately heard noises in the front end. We didn't think it could be the brand new strut so we took it back to the dealership and they diagnosed it as the strut. I called Strut Masters and the customer service rep was less than friendly about the situation. After sending them my invoice and diagnosis from the dealer, they shipped me a new strut. Aside from the inconvenience of this, I asked to be reimbursed for the shop bill and the rental car I needed. They've declined the reimbursement for my rental car but did reimburse me for the shop invoice. There was no explanation on why I couldn't be reimbursed for both as this was due to their defective product. I need to order replacement rear shocks and will not be purchasing from Strutmasters again. Friendly customer service goes a long way when you're experiencing something like this. They do not have that here. Even now the front end makes a lot of noises it didn't prior. I don't think their product is very good. read more

Installed a kit onto my 2002 Lexus LS430, first thing I noticed was a sticker over a sticker. They covered up a sticker of the strut manufacturer (PICC AUTO), they manufacture bottom line components such as FCS. If I would have known that I would not have made the investment into their product. I am an ASE certified master technician and we used to install FCS but had too many returns due to failed parts. I would think twice before purchasing from this company. read more

Do not buy. I purchased the air to spring conversion for my 2017 Infinity QX80. The parts I received were substandard at best. The factory top shock mounts are larger and rectangular in shape. But the shocks I received in my kit were small and I can only hope do not sheer off while driving. After hours of removing and re-installing the parts I received to trouble shoot the problem of how one side of the truck sat lower than the other. I found the non-adjustable coil over shocks are not handling the load evenly. I cannot reuse the factory rubber isolators because the factory springs have a larger inside diameter and will not fit the springs I received in this kit. Instead I had to cut the rubber washers that came with this kit just to have them fit the mounts on the truck. Strutmasters actually sent me an email asking for a review, and after I gave them this information they did not respond in any way. And of course are not going to publish my review. It's my fault, I took the lazy way out and purchased a pre-packaged box of parts to solve my problem instead of taking my truck to a shop and getting the right parts. I'm currently in the process of researching and purchasing adjustable coil over shocks that will fit my truck correctly, and correct the ride height issue. read more

I was looking for an option to delete the air level-ride for my 2011 Chevrolet Suburban. I needed something stiff as we often pull a boat trailer with this car. In July, 2021, I called Strutmasters, and was sold a GC24FMCK (about $800). They arrived a few days later, and I installed the set onto my truck. At first, I was impressed with the ride. Then, when we first connected the trailer, the rear end of the truck sagged (badly). In fact, in the first six months of occasionally pulling the trailer, the sag got worse - to the point where the rear tires would rub on the inner wheel well. The trailer is appropriately loaded as per the requirements of the truck, with the ratio and tongue weight as per the limits on the truck. Now, a year later, I spent $1,000 to remove the GC24FMCK, and replace them with OEM air struts. I removed the Strutmasters struts, and tossed them into the dumpster, still looking nearly new. I was not impressed with the Strutmasters conversion at all. read more

Had a rattle that turned into a very loud knock on left rear of 2005 Audi A8, moved the spring assembly to right side and now the knock is there. Removed again and bought a spring compressor because the strut rod was hitting the spring, it shifted, so I had to put more rubber around to keep it from moving, now the rear left is doing it and will have to make up for lack of a proper sized rubber spacer/bushing again. Also have knock in front so it seems I will have to go thru the whole process again. Customer service does not exist. They will give you a number for Tech support who will not return phone calls. It's been a year or so since i put the strutmaster package on my 2005 SL500 and the struts are still good. It rides really nice but the driver side is a few centimeters lower and scrapes from time to time which means i really cant do much about it. It didn't do that when i first put them on but i guess after they get settled in they're not as firm, but for the price you cant bet it considering i would've had to pay 8 grand to get the suspension fixed compared to the $1,300 i spent with strutmaster. Thanks strut master, I'm so glad for the services you give to your fellow American people! If only we had more companies like you in every other aspect. read more

BUYERS BEWARE. Strutmasters is a nightmare of a company. Their customer service department is non-existent. They sent us the wrong product for our 2007 BMW X5, and they are refusing to return our numerous emails and phone calls. On top of the $50 shipping we had to pay to get it here - we also have to pay another $50 to return it. That would be a 20% restocking fee for THEIR MISTAKE. The product we received was for a 2000-2006 BWM X5. The certified BMW mechanic that worked on our vehicle said that this kit would not fit our vehicle. Strutmasters' one and only response was from Kim Fuqua: "I checked with my production manager and the R&D manager, and that kit that you received is the BB2RB kit that you ordered." This product was never used (because IT DID NOT FIT). They sent us the incorrect product and would rather continually argue with us instead of doing the right thing. This company is a joke. I will be reporting my experience through every avenue to make sure other consumers do not have to experience what I had to experience. read more

Very happy with the product, but when I ordered the product I added a lift system as well. When I received the product only 1/2 the lift kit was shipped. I thought the rear struts had the lift integrated so i didn't realize parts were missing. When I had the shop install everything they didn't realize the front pucks were missing, they thought the pucks that came with everything were for the front.. especially since the rear struts were so much taller than stock. Not the case, I had to pay to have the front put back together then call strutmasters to try and get the rest of my kit.. after receiving the rest of the kit 2 weeks later I decided not to do the lift because the rear would be so tall.. so I shipped back the lift kit (on my dime) and strutmasters didn't give me a full refund but charged me a 20% restock fee on top of all this.. they didn't own their mistake and when I emailed them about the restock fee they didn't respond.. not to mention the same steel lift pucks are available on other sites for less than the restock fee they charged me. Their struts are decent but they overcharge and don't own up to their mistakes. This will be my last experience with them. read more

First of all, I own LADs Auto in Calgary. Dealing with strut masters has been one of the worst experiences we have had in our professional career of 35 years of owning a repair shop and purchasing parts from an outside supplier. They sold us front struts and springs, rear springs and rear shocks, a conversion kit for a 2014 Dodge Ram pickup which ended up being defective. The truck had a difference of an inch of ride height from side to side. They did sent us different set up replacement springs, which were lowering springs, not what we needed. We called numerous times and emailed numerous times with no response. Our client was less than satisfied with this product. We ended up paying for and suppling him with a kit from Monroe and the issue was resolved. To this day, strut masters has not made any attempt to correct this situation or refund the money. Do your self a favour and do not purchase their product. They do not stand behind what they sell. read more

I had a mixed experience with a Strutmasters conversion kit for a 2009 Lexus LS460L. The rear struts were fine, but the front struts caused a rattle in the front suspension. I eventually replaced the front Strutmasters struts with a used set of OEM struts, which fixed the rattle issue. read more

I am not sure what limited life time warranty means because I asked to spend another $1,200 to buy a replacement kit to fix my car. I had an awesome time with strutmasters. It may because they got a fat commision off me I dont know. I purchased front and rear struts for a Mercedes Benz gl550 2010. for$1500 that includes shipping plus the by pass module. Everything was sent accept the bypass module which came the next day. The Module had instructions with diagrams. My awesome mechanic installed the struts perfectly the bypass module we needed some help with we called the customer service they transfered us to the electrical department we left a message they got back with us with in the hour and talked us through the process. This is day 3 I had everything on I hope they will last for the next 10 years. One airmatic strut oem from mercedes cost 1500. I saved at least 5000 dollars with strut masters. read more

I ordered a conversion kit for a 1998 Cadillac SLS that I recently purchased as a daily driver. The car is in immaculate condition, so I've just been going through and fixing the few minor issues it has. The suspension was an area of concern for me, it had the Air/MagneRide suspension. Super plush ride, but the compressor was kicking on more often than I liked and I didn't want any surprises later. I priced the stock suspension for the vehicle and was not about to pay $800 per corner to replace it. I did some searching and found the conversion kit from Strutmasters. The whole set was about the cost of getting a single corner done in the OEM setup. After doing some additional research, I decided to call up Strutmasters and order the kit. I spoke with Darrell who took the time to get the information needed to choose the right set, he was very friendly. I got my suspension 5 days later and had it installed. I was a little worried that it was going to have the ride of a 1990 Honda Civic that had been slammed to the ground. Once everything was installed and aligned, I took the car for a test drive. It was like a brand new car. The ride was a bit stiffer than stock (expected) but in no way was this a bad thing. The car felt much tighter, it had a sportier ride and handled so much better. I was also a bit worried about warning lights due to the removal of the stock suspension, but the resistors provided in the kit were top notch. The front were completely plug-and-play, but for the rears, we cut the wiring and connector from the strut and tied it into the pigtails for the resistor to make it plug-and-play. No permanent changes to the car. If I ever wanted to go back to the electronic suspension, I could. Overall, I'm incredibly happy with the product and service from Strutmasters. I will shop them again, and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a cost effective AND quality suspension setup. read more

I purchased 2 air ride replacement shocks and 2 struts for my Cadillac Eldorado. The rear shocks were 40% or so thinner than the originals, the top mounting was at least 1/8" narrower than the original, and I did not feel comfortable using them. I tried to return them and was told that 30 days had elapsed, too bad. I explained that in Upstate NY the weather was not conducive to working in the driveway, and was again told "Too bad, 30 day limit". I was also told as I was complaining about the rear shocks "We don't even make those" - which is in direct contradiction of the tone and wording of their advertising videos. One has to wonder from which Asian paradise those shocks may have been sourced. I got disgusted, will sell the rear shocks on eBay. I bought Arnott replacements, they were actually identical to the original, bolted right in no hassle. Turning to the front struts - They are substantially similar to the original other than the springs not being of the same diameter steel. I installed them, they went in fairly easily, no problems - UNTIL I go to install the sway bar link to the new strut mounting bracket. Two problems. The original strut bracket is built up in thickness to accommodate the unthreaded shank of the sway bar link. The strutmaster replacement is the same thickness of steel throughout the mount. They did include a block of approximately 1/4 inch steel with a hole drilled in it to accommodate the link. Two problems: first, the darn link end will not fit through the hole, and second, there is not the same degree of strength in the thinner strutmaster mount to provide lateral support for the sway bar link stud. On calling tech support at strutmaster, I got an answering machine. A day later, I get called back, and they left a voice mail for me. I returned that call, and again, got their answering machine. THIS is tech support??????? To be honest, I bought these because, and only because, they allegedly are US made. I have plenty of experience dealing with Chinese vendors in my business, and preferred a US product to repair something that weighs 4000 pounds and moves down the road at 90 MPH. Based on the quality of the rear shocks, and the sloppy design of the front struts, and the erroneous sizing of the hole in the spacer bar for the sway bar link, and the barely civil treatment I got from customer service, that Chinese junk is starting to look better and better. read more

"I had a problem with my Hyundai Equus Air Suspension and fixing it would be very expensive (Hyundai does not back its flagship vehicles.) I started looking for an alternative. I came up with Strutmasters. I ordered the suspension system and was told it would arrive at my mechanic's shop in three to five days (I'll even give them work days although that was never mentioned).The problems began here. The suspension DID NOT arrive in 3-5 days, nor was it shipped during that 3-5-day delivery window. This went on and on with incorrect updated shipping times. I ordered the product on Sept 10 and it finally arrived on September 28. All in all, my car rental bill, because of Strutmasters, ran over $750. I could no longer keep adding rental expenses given the continued inaccuracies of Strutmasters delivery dates so I traded in my car and bought a new one. When the suspension finally arrived, I returned it to Strutmaster (cost $89 more out of my pocket to ship it back) and was charged a 20% restocking fee by Strutmaster. Really?????? This is after having to pay over $750 in rental charges because of Strutmasters' delays. If you use a company who treats its customers as Strutmasters did me, you have to be OUT OF YOUR MIND." Ordered the 2013 ram 1500 airbag to coil over conversion kit. An offroad shop that is ASE certified installed them. I drove home and noticed the front end bottoming out...they recommended I contact strutmaster, I did. They sent me back to the shop for an inspection. The shop informs me that the spring rate is not enough for the front end weight. We start communicating with the company and the only resolution theyre willing to do is send a new set of struts....that does absolutely nothing to fix the issue. They're response is we've had a lot of success with this kit we're not going to do anything other than send new struts....drastically under engineered. I'd go any other route than to waste any money with these clowns. read more

Very disappointed with how things were handled by Strut-master and their customer service. While speaking with the CSR, he made it sound like they are a great company who believes in their products, so I ordered them right away hoping to solve my car problem. I received the parts and took them to my mechanic. I was told that my car has more issues than just the struts. I immediately called Strut-master to get the instructions to return their product that hadn't even been taken out of the box. I was told by their CSR that I would be better off selling them on eBay. I was also told I'm responsible for another shipping fee and a 20% stocking fee on a product that was never used and returned within 30 days. When selling the product they seem to care about the customer. But if for some unfortunate reason their merchandise doesn't work out, and keep in mind it's 1000.00 dollars worth, they are not about keeping the customer happy. Worst mistake I made. Driving a Mercedes equipped with AirMatic suspension should be a comfortable and soothing experience. After all, the smooth ride of a fine German luxury car is legendary! But as these vehicles age, the active air suspension system develops malfunctions. Here's my mistake, I replace this luxury ride for the Strutmasters conversion. Strutmasters conversion kit took a beautiful and enjoyable driving luxury automobile to that of a Dodge. Strutmasters didn't want to help and tried to avoid the issues I have at all costs. I can no longer enjoy my Mercedes to the point that I'm replacing the entire system back to the original Mercedes airmatic. The lack of customer service the fact they don't care about you after the sale plus the crappy parts, wrong ride height, noise coming from the new parts, the unsafe freeway handling is the only reason to not buy from them ever!
