    Stuc's Special Pizza

Came here on a Thursday about lunchtime. Quite welcoming as Kelly greeted us at the door and invited us to a place to sit. Nice atmosphere, nice decor, and an inviting environment. She took time and went through the specials, the different sauces, and explained parts of the menu to us. After a couple minutes to get our order, we had our drinks. I ordered the Stucc's classic 9" hand tossed, and my wife ordered a pepperoni calzone. Also added a side of garlic cheese bread for an appetizer. 10m12s to appetizer. 25 minutes total to lunch entree. So for mine, damn! Delicious, crispy, good balance of meats to sauce. Her? She wasn't prepared for the giant pizza dumpling that was in front of her. And that's a SMALL! Filled with cheese, pepperoni, and a delicious blend of seasoning. When I say cheese....yeah. Like cheese to the third power. Needless to say, good food, good price, and we will be back.

Love Stucs! Usually I get hand tossed but the hubs wanted to try the deep dish. Baked well, I like my toppings more well sone but it was delicious even so. The dough was nice and fluffy. The sauce is sweeter here than at other pizza places. To me that's what makes it shine. I can always add crushed red pepper flakes if I want the heat. The desserts here are on point as well. The salads have lovely fresh veggies. And the bread sticks are phenomenal.

It had been over 5 years since our last visit...and I'm so glad we were in the area and looking for some pizza! The dining room is open and that is how we ended up here this time. We had incredible service. We enjoyed the Garlic Cheese Bread as an appetizer and we shared a hand tossed Cheese & Sausage Pizza for dinner. The Garlic Cheese Bread was served with pizza sauce - the bread was warm and toasty and cheesy...PERFECT! The pizza was delicious as were the leftovers the next day! The ice cold beer was delicious, too! It has been awhile since our last visit...but we are looking forward to filing up the punch card and visiting again soon!

Worst taco pizza ever! Philly sandwich not much better. Don't waste your money here. Will definitely not go here again.

Ambiance: cute, cozy and intimate lighting which is perfect date night vibe and there were still some bigger parties accommodated. Arrived and it was packed and still not very noisy. Service: Nick was awesome! Knowledgeable, friendly and personable. There's a level of pride in the work that he does that screams unreasonable hospitality (IYKYK) and paced my courses out beautifully. Wine recommendation was on point and attention to others didn't lapse. All tables felt his presence. Food: House salad was easily the best red wine vinaigrette that I've ever had. The garlic was the perfect kick. Scallops appetizer were sweet and perfectly cooked through and the spinach/basil cream sauce that was under and surrounded the dish was amazing (and I don't or at least didn't think I liked basil!). For dinner I hate the halibut and mushroom risotto which was cooked to perfection. The risotto does have onions which I missed and didn't care for but they took care and offered me a separate bed which I thought was incredibly nice. For dessert I had the chocolate cake which was delicious. Coffee/espresso hints and perfect texture of cake to filling. I will be back for sure!

I didn't take a picture of my pasta but got the red sauce rigatoni which is always my favorite. Rich, creamy, with al dente pasta and fresh mozzarella. Service was great and food came very quick. They now charge for bread which is disappointing when it used to be free. Regardless can't go wrong with anything here, so good!

Everyone who works there were very pleasant for the interactions. We got seated on the upper level and had a great view of the water. Overall inside ambiance was very pleasant. Sleek design. Appetizers - captn krunch tenders - bam bam shrimp - Cheese curds For dinner I got the braised short rib It was so goo perfectly cooked fall apart beef over delicious polenta. We had a private room with pre-set menu that included bread service + soup or salad. Do not skip on the fresh bread with compound butter. I never knew how delicious bacon Parmesan compound butter would be. I want to be a butter snob now and only crave compound butters moving forward. :D Food presentation is beautiful but taste is what wins me over. The tenderloin is magnificent. All of the flavors are in perfect symmetry - the sprouts and mashed potatoes were dynamite. Having broccolini as another vegetable was even better. This is a generously sized dish and easily makes for 2 meals. I can't say enough positive things about my first Fratellos experience and very much look forward to coming back for another taste.

They have an ordering station to place your orders for food/beer. They have a ton of board games to play while you drink or wait for your food. Great place to meet up to wind down. I've been here twice, once for drinks and once for food. Great experiences both times. Service: Friendly and informative. They have a slim team but are incredibly efficient. Food: They pizza is incredible, the crust is untouchable. I ordered the Dirty Martini pizza (they don't have it anymore *cries in salty olive tears*). This pizza is one of a kind. If anyone else had this available in the Fox Valley I would go there every week to get my fix. It's salty, savory, creamy, crunchy and CRAVE-ABLE. We ordered one other pizza on the menu that is a standard offering, The 99 Corvette. This was okay but we both fought over who got more pieces of the Dirty Martini Pizza. I can't wait to come back here for more fun.

They do not have physical menus or servers to take people's orders; customers scan a QR code to get the online menu and order at the bar area. I can't speak to the craft beer and wine aspect to the restaurant, but they do offer some delicious craft sodas for people looking for nonalcoholic options. Although they have "normal" woodfire pizza choices (traditional pepperoni, cheese, etc.), the highlight is their rotating menu of inventive specialty savory and dessert pizzas. I found their "normal" pizza to be just ok, but the tomato soup pizza (Souper Slice) was incredibly flavorful and unique! It's definitely worth taking the leap of faith for some of their more out-there sounding pizza options. Since they have limited oven space to cook the pizzas, food can take a while to come out if it's busy. Plan ahead and use that time to relax and enjoy their drinks, or come during an off-peak time for less wait.
