Obsessed! This isn't your ordinary Italian place and the food/service shows! We always love a family business and this place has been just that for over 20 years. We grew up dining here and while the menu has changed the level of deliciousness remains the same. Personally it's all about the pasta. The amount of cheese and the noodles baked to perfection is a signature. The staff is always kind, warm and welcoming with plenty of suggestions to get your craving fixes and overall it just a relaxed atmosphere to be in. read more

This is our local pizzeria, very close to our house and our "go to" place for pizza, sandwiches and dinner. It is a very popular place but the staff handles the workload efficiently and in a friendly manner. Pizza, pasta dishes and sandwiches are all good...but my favorite is their calzone! I feel like there was definitely opportunity here. I ordered half pepperoni and half mushroom because I absolutely loathe pepperoni and even more so, pepperoni grease. This was what we got, 3/4 pepperoni and 100% pepperoni grease. I was so disappointed. It was almost like it had slid on the way over when being delivered. The menu is misleading - it states their Dinners are "Made from Scratch". I ordered Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken for delivery tonight, but I was immediately disappointed with the appearance of the chicken. It looked like those fake, rubbery, precooked strips. I called Luigi's and they confirmed that they use Tyson's precooked chicken strips. They clarified that they volume of orders they receive is way too high to safely manage cross-contamination concerns with the different types of meat they prepare. Understandable I guess, but extremely disappointing. Luigi's is otherwise a great restaurant- I appreciate that they include delicious breadsticks and fresh salad with their meals. The other items we ordered (pizza and veal Parmesan) were great per my son and husband. A good non-chain location that delivers amazing food is rare - I'll continue to go to Luigi's and order from them frequently. I just won't get the chicken with my pasta . It's also worth noting that the person I spoke with on the phone was extremely nice and accommodating. Excellent customer service! read more

Our new favorite pizza place. We started picking up pizzas during the pandemic but haven't gone anywhere else since then.

Ok if it wasn't for the two hours to be in and out I'd probably give it a 5. It was weird also because we were set right away but it appeared as though they were short staffed or something?, It took a long time to take the order then forever to get the food. Salads brought out too close to getting the food, atleast if they'd been bought out a little after the order it might have pacified us a bit due to the long wait for the food. I think they just sat way too many for what they could serve. The food was great but no great food is worth such a wait time. Server was excellent when we saw her. Not her fault for being over worked with too many tables, definitely a management issue. read more

Went to Luigi's with my husband and niece because we were having a craving for pizza. We ordered two 16 in pizzas - Luigi's Special and Jo's Alfredo Special. Both were so good that we were undecided on what was our favorite. Boxed up the extra and enjoyed them again the next day. I decided to go here for lunch today. Upon entering, I stood before the podium waiting to be seated when a disheveled female yelled at me from about 30 feet away asking, "what can I do for you?" After settling that I had come to dine, she directed that I should "come sit at my bar." I said, "I'd prefer a table, please." Her response was, "we don't typically do that, but ok...", I'm assuming because I was dining alone. How it is typical to dine at a bar instead of a table still eludes me. I said I'd go elsewhere and left immediately. I was made to feel like I was putting her out with my unreasonable request to dine at a table. The last thing I was to feel from the staff of a restaurant I'm spending my money in is that I'm being unreasonable about where I will eat what I'm paying for. Don't go here. Finally tried Luigis last night. We order often (delivery online) through glass nickel and even dominos. So we decided to try Luigis delivery. At 5:34 pm I ordered our food (wednesday night.) I ordered a stromboli, stuffed shells with crab meat with meat sauce, and lasagna with meat sauce. The dinners came with salad and breadsticks. At 7:04 pm I called the store asking where our food was. I heard them yell to someone "hey are you going to P*******s?" he then proceeded to tell me the food was on its way and to not look at what it says online for a timeframe. Strike 1, food was seriously late. The delivery arrived and the person was very nice and apologized and said they were busy because of Christmas rush. I get it. Once we delved into the food...more disappointment. The breadsticks were cold and my daughter who is not picky said "these taste like dishwater." My husband concurred. Strike 2. My stuffed shells with crab meat did not have any sauce on them as described and just a lot of cheese. Very bland. My husband devoured his stomboli and my daughter ate about half of her lasagna but said too it was only luke warm. Strike 3. My thoughts is the food had been prepared and sat under a warming lamp and they held our delivery for when they were doing others in our neighborhood. I went to the menu this morning to see what I had ordered and how it was not prepared as I thought, and the menu item was deleted! Been living here for 10 years and was giving a local italian place a try through delivery...never again. read more

My Favorite pasta place - love their red sauce best in the Valley! Almost always order some kind of pasta dish with meat sauce. My girlfriend likes it plain (no meat) and says it her favorite. Large portions and good prices. Every meal comes with a dinner salad and breadsticks. Service is friendly and they get pretty busy so can take a while to get your food. Luigi's offers some of the best pizza in the area, has decent pasta, such as gnocchi, but really deserves credit for Philadelphia cheesesteak subs and stromboli. Both are very good but the combination of the filling with the pizza dough crust of the stromboli especially so. Salads are pretty much just iceberg lettuce with a slice of tomato and cucumber on top, but it always seems fresh. Service has always been polite and efficient, but there are times things seem to be a little slow due to understaffing. Live music on weekends is a nice touch not available at many other locations in the area. We would eat at or order takeout from Luigi's more often, but they seem to be closed a lot - Monday's, a week or two in the summer, etc - so you may want to call to confirm they're open before you go. read more

Been here before excellent pizza. But this time came with group of 7, sandwiches were ok, but the Service Sucked; waitress brought out 6 meals out of 7 to table. There was only 2 tables there at noon. Other table had 4. After 15 minutes, waitress finally came back and asked how meals were. We asked about missing meal, she left came back after 15 more minutes with meal. She blamed the cook on this, even though she seen there was no meal for a person. When we got our bills they were screwed up too. And the to go boxes she brought out;were not enough, she must have expected couples to share a box. And never discounted the missing meal. Thank God the cash register told her how much change to give everyone. You'd think at 45 years old she could count to 7 at least read more

This place has really gone down hill on service. We go as a group every month to listen to the band but the bartenders are terrible. It seems no one knows what they are doing and even though there are always 2 - 3 people standing around, you can't get any service. There were 20 people in our group and the staff took great care of us. We were all served at the same time and in a reasonable length of time. I had the eggplant Parmesan and it was excellent. The salad and breadsticks which come with it are also good. My husband had the stuffed shells and he loved them and the generous amount of cheese with which they were covered. Those that had pizza said it was excellent. The only negative I heard was about the blue sea salad - didn't like the salad dressing. read more

The waitress ignored me to wait on one of the tables. The waiter I thought was coming around the bar to finally greet me and take my order. I guess it was more important that he filled water glasses. My breaking point was when the guy who I thought was the owner loudly greeted and started to schmooze with someone, who I thought was MEeeeee?? Oh, silly me. It was the couple who just walked in the door. I stood up, walked out, and the owner watched me go. Yeah, not gonna work folks. Liked your food, but such a blatant fail at patron service? No thanks. This is a decent pizza. The traditional, which we ordered for delivery, with sausage and olives was a fairly good value for what we paid. The crust is a bit thinner than hand tossed, and is a more bread than cracker. The sauce is on the sweet side and could be thinned out a little. Still, it's not bad, just a little sweet for me personally. The toppings were well proportioned, and the sausage was very good. We also got an order of Spaghetti for our 3-year old which he loved. Overall, this was a good average goto pizza and we'll order from here again. The only drawback was the delivery, it was snowing on the night we ordered, and delivery was scheduled for 90 minutes out. Went to dinner at Luigi's in Menasha last night. Food was great but our service was terrible!!! Took awhile for our food but that's ok, again it was worth the wait. However waitress brought our food and that was pretty much the last we saw of her! Never back to ask how everything was, not for drink refills, I had wanted to order something to go for Colin Jackson but that wasn't happening. I called Stucs from Luigi's parking lot and ordered. Some other person came and got us boxes and the bill. She finally comes back and asks if we want anything else to which I replied I was going to but no longer. To make it worse there were at least 8 waitstaff standing around AND TALKING. The icing on the cake was the manager or owner did nothing but joke around with staff and be on his phone! it's just a big fun time between them all. We do not dine-in...the few times we did, we thought the service was very poor. For some reason, their wait staff never seemed friendly or concerned. Long waits. We're not big fans of the red sauce on their pizzas, so we don't get it. However we do like their Cheesesteak pizza very much, so we order it as take out about 3-4 times a year. The manager is super friendly, and it always a nice neighborhood vibe at the pick up counter...which is so different than our dine in experiences. My husband and I went here on a thurs night, early. Food was awesome. Best Italian food in the fox valley area. He had the chicken parm and I had the baked ziti dish. We loved both. Delivery times are always very, very long.... even to Neenah, it really doesn't make any sense. Great pizza, bad delivery times. We've had deliveries much quicker than this, and even as far as Appleton! If you guys can get your delivery times down to 30 minutes like Glass Nickel, that would be acceptable. So the service wasn't the best, but she was bustin her butt to keep up. The restaurant was not very busy, but they do a lot of takeout and the phone rings often. The atmosphere isn't anything to write home about, but the pizza is! It is another place where ordering extra cheese is not needed. The crust was good, so was the sauce and lots of toppings. I was raised in a heavily italian city, and the fox cities area doesn't have great pizza but Luigi's is alright and at least one of the better places. In my 7 years of living within walking distance of place. I can say: staff is friendly but service can be slow at times or super quick, its hard to guess. Dinners are nice large and filling. The sandwiches are winner.( but I do ask for them to back off the seasoning, can have high salt content). All i am gonna say is stay away from the Alfredo dishes! Their sauce is bland and taste like it came in a jar. Ordered 2 dinners months apart and outcome was same:( 4 ingredients and 90 seconds is all you need to make some banging sauce. read more

We always get delivery so I cannot comment on the in-house service. However, the delivery drivers are always polite and quick. I usually order the linguine and clam sauce (I have had both sauces and they are equally fantastic). My husband really enjoys the pizzas and the kids pizza is huge for the kids menu; we love that. The tiramisu is the best I have had in northeast Wisconsin and comparable to the tiramisu I have had while in Italy. One time they were out and offered a strawberry "tiramisu" that was an awful fail, but if you stick with the traditional, you will not be let down. read more

I wish I could split the review up between food and service. Food is a five. Always delicious and consistent. Service is a two. Most of the time they are friendly, but often not. Delivery is always slow, even on a Wednesday night it took well over the "estimated" hour for delivery. Another time I went to pick up my pizza and the waitress walked around with my credit card for a good fifteen minutes. Scary. read more
