I went to Studio 703 for the first time Friday and I was very impressed by everything. My hair stylist was amazing, the front desk girl was so friendly and helpful and the owner even came over to talk to me and complimented my hair. As soon as I walked in I was offered a beverage. I love this place. All of the stylists are friendly and super hip. You can't go wrong with any of them. My personal favorite is Lily O'Neill. She knows how to listen to what you want and will give you her professional opinion in order to do what's best for your hair. I trust her recommendations bc I know she wants the best for my hair. Love love love this salon! And more importantly, obsessed with the work Natalie Mantia does with my hair! I have been so loyal to her and this salon for the past 5 years or so. All during moves between Columbia, Clayton, and even Chicago. She has always been worth the drive! I personally have color treated hair and have been highlighting my hair since 12 and have been pretty picky about how stylists color my hair. Ever since going here my hair has not only been the best blonde color I ever wanted but also the healthiest hair condition it's ever been in. I get a light "dust" or trim each time I see her to maintain the length and healthiness. My hair is the thickest and longest I have ever seen and I attribute that to the healthy dyes they use here. Any time I want to spice anything up Natalie hears me out and really listens to me and does an amazing job every time. There has never been a time I have left the salon and thought it wasn't the best work. It's always above and beyond my expectations! And it is super forgiving, meaning the color doesn't dull over time and when you get a base color at the roots it seems like the regrowth isn't noticeable. She colors it to the way I like, which is not too yellow not too platinum--just naturally blonde. My only regret is not going to their cool new seminars on make up and hair tips. Next session I will definitely be there! Lastly Natalie is the best to talk with or if you want to be quiet and work or do nothing but relax she is best for either. Most of the time I love catching up with her personally. I feel most stylists are either good at talking but not good at hair or vise Versa. It's nice to finally go to someone that's both good at hair and respectful of the experience you want at the salon. I love love love my hair after my style with Denise! My color Rocks, and my hair has the best curls ever after a really good curly cut. I have been coming to Studio 703 for about 3 years and have never been disappointed. The place serves hot or cold non-alcohol beverages, has an online appointment booking, does waxing, make-up and hair. I would not go anywhere else for a cut and foil. My girl Emily is the bomb. There is nothing she can not do. The owner is a professional photographer and works with models. Studio 703 is one of the best hair salons I have ever been too. I have to say that I have only had a couple of hair dressers that I trusted. I am very picky. Two years ago my last hair dresser left the area, so my friend referred me to Shawn. Every time I come in, he asks how I liked my last hair cut/color/highlights. I have always been very happy with the services. More so, I am so excited that I found a "high end salon" with a very relaxed atmosphere and none of the stuffiness of a traditional high end salon. My husband and I both went there. Gave it a try for a few appointments. My husband would schedule an appointment with a stylist and then when he would show up they would switch stylists on him. They did this THREE times and each time gave him the excuse that they called and left a message (which was a lie each time). He never received a call. I spent a ridiculous amount of money to get my hair colored and the last two appointments--my color faded REALLY fast. I saw Michelle. When I complained to her and recommended we try something different because it faded--she blamed me for having 'dirty hair' and said that I needed to use a special cleansing shampoo for their color to stick. I was mortified. I have been getting my hair colored for over 20 years and have very healthy, thick, and CLEAN hair. That was the last straw. I think they just have shitty products and/or skimp on color. I have never had such a defensive and accusatory stylist. Go anywhere but here! I have since switched to Dominic Michel and am so happy I did! read more

I was recommended by a family member to try out your salon a couple of weeks ago. I have been a long term customer of another reputable salon in the St Charles County area and was looking for a change. I will start by saying that I am VERY picky about who does my hair and the results that I get. I was scheduled the next day with Kate that included a consult with Lily for extensions. While I was there for my first appointment Kate and Lily constructed a plan to help me with concerns that I had with my damaged hair and what the best route was to get the best results. I received the best color result that I have ever had. I have blonde temperamental hair that sometimes likes to pull nasty tones. Kate completely took care of me and made my color exactly what I wanted. Then Lily color matched my hair to order the extensions and the next week had me in her chair to install the extensions. I have had great lengths extensions in the past with a not so good experience so I was very nervous to give it a try again but I was in desperate need of help for my breakage issues. Lily was absolutely amazing with me. She understood my concerns, did not try to upsell me to benefit the grand total, gave me only what I needed and the results were beyond perfect. I feel like hair is a very personal thing and with the amount of damage that I had it was borderline debilitating for me because I was missing so much on one side. No one and I mean no one can tell that I have extensions in (which is what I was looking for) and my hair has never looked better. From the color match to the fullness, to the placement, my results were 1000% better than what I was expecting. I should have bailed on this stylist a long time ago, but most women know that it's tough sometimes to break up with your hairdresser b/c the fear of the unknown sometimes overrules what you're currently getting. But after a year with the prices rising and continuously bad color jobs, I finally made the break. If you are wanting a haircut, Missy is a good choice. If you need root touchups, or are doing foil highlights, I would look elsewhere. I had at least 3, if not 4 services where my roots were never touched up properly, and you could still see them clearly. And the highlights were sloppily done--she rushed through them and never took time or care to really do a good job. Again, my fault for not speaking up or refusing to go back--I should have done so MUCH earlier. But I finally made the switch to a new salon, and realized truly how badly my color was being done at that point. So anyway, as I said, Missy is a lovely person, and her haircuts aren't bad, but she is NOT good with root touchups and highlights, so steer clear if that's what you need to have done. read more
