As a potential new client, I signed a release of information so that my previous doctor could send records. That wax 3 months ago. A week before my appointment I called and studio had not received. Dr. Storey is great! Very caring and thorough. Doesn't say work needs to be done that doesn't. She's happy to monitor possible problem areas rather than rushing to overtreat. Patient, kind, reassuring, and a perfectionist artist in what she does (in a good way!). Wonderful working relationships with orthodontists and oral surgeons gives you total care. The hygienists are 100% snark-free and lecture-free. Office staff are kind and knowledgeable about insurance. This practice has figured out what other dental offices have not: treat people with kindness, quality, and positive encouragement and they'll keep coming back! I had a horrible experience with Dr Bunch, however. Sub-par work, zero chairside manner and made many unprofessional comments about other patients in front of me. Not interested in hearing your commentary on some rando's sinus size, doc. So just make sure you don't end up with her and you'll be good. Dr Storey and her staff are a rare find. If you're nervous because it's been a while since you've been to a dentist, or you don't floss as much as you should, don't be shy. You won't be lectured - you'll be encouraged, and that will help you build a relationship and get you on a path to dental health! But seriously, if you don't floss, it's like taking a poop and only wiping your outer butt cheeks. Go floss. read more

Exceptional experience from booking appointment to arrival at dental office. The front desk person, Renee, was very personable and helpful with check-in. My hygienist, Alyssa, was on time and did a very thorough cleaning. She was knowledgeable and professional with a spirited personality. Dr. Bunch examined me and offered expertise on questions I asked. None of what another Oro Valley dental office tried to sell me, such as periodontal and antibiotic treatment, was deemed necessary. Very impressed with Studio Dental, Dr. Storey, and the whole team. I have been seeing Dr. Storey for the past year & a half or so and actually enjoy going in for my cleanings - crazy, right?! They have great personal TV's to watch while you are in the chair, the staff are kind, the facility is clean and modern, and they are extremely gentle and caring. I'm updating my review to 5 stars; I ended up having a cracked tooth a few weeks ago and Studio got me in ASAP (twice!) to help me diagnose and make sure I wasn't in pain for too long. She sent me to an excellent endodontist and has been fabulous in terms of follow-up and flexibility post-care. It has not been an easy road and dental work can be stressful, so I have really appreciated knowing I have a dentist that cares about me as a patient and person. Knowing I can trust her opinion in terms of recommending best next steps for my long-term health is priceless. I recommend Dr. Storey & Studio Dental to anyone and everyone, and I imagine she'll be my dentist for as long as I call Tucson home. read more

Studio Dental Pllc. I am soooo in disbelief with STUDIO DENTAL and their so called office policies! My husband and I have been going to Dr Storey since we moved here in 2008. I specifically sought her out for her experience with cosmetic dentistry because I have several aging veneers. During 2021, I had to the other dentist (dr Bunch) twice for emergency visits only because I was working at a job that would not let me off except for my lunch hour and after hours and dr Storey was not available. I did resume seeing Dr Storey at my normal checkup Jan 3, 2022. I am not working anymore and so I don't have my stringent hours and so I called to make an appt with dr Storey for a new crown they had given me an estimate for at a prior appt and they have vehemently denied giving me an appt with dr Storey - instead they want to book me with the new dentist that took the place of dr Bunch who just left. I'm sure She is fine dentist but they are trying to say I was a Dr bunch patient so that is why I gave to see the new dentist and I'm not a Dr Storey patient (ugh) and that it is office policy. I told them they would be losing two patients as my husband and I both think that their denial to book my appt is ridiculous, they just said office policy would not allow it. I checked and saw that all but one visit at studio dental for my insurance was billed under Dr Storey for me and not dr bunch. I'm sure this has something to do with which patients they allocated to the new doctor when she joined the practice but my husband would have stayed with her if only they had booked my appt with dr Storey. Now they have lost two patients. I even told them that I would be posting a bad review online which I never do. (I love posting great reviews!) Guess they don't believe in customer service . (And the office manager is not very polite! If you make office policies, you should at least have good reasons as to why. read more

I have a dental emergency and you would think that they could fit me in before August 29!!! Nope! The receptionist said she could put me on a cancellation list. Didn't even ask the Dr.. I called another dental office and they can see me today. I have never been to their office. read more

I also came to Studio Dental through a Groupon deal and my experience was overall a positive one. Dr. Storey and everyone on the staff was friendly and positive to me during my exam. The office is clean and looks relatively new. Clients in the waiting room can have water or coffee (though I assume the latter should be avoided before a cleaning), and can watch TV throughout during their exam. I did not feel like I was being treated as a "lesser" client because of the Groupon. I returned to the office a couple of months later to replace a filling that fell out (work of another dentist) and also had a good experience the second time. I do not have dental insurance, and the office was very willing to work with me, gave me a written estimate of the work in advance, and the price was reasonable and stayed true to the estimate. Before my second visit (when I was not paying with Groupon), the office did contact me and ask me if I could reschedule, but when they were unable to find a convenient time, I was allowed to keep my original appointment and had no further issues with scheduling. read more

My wife goes to Dr Storey on a very regular basis. Before my wife started going to Dr Storey, she was completely petrified of the dentist. Dr Storey and the staff at Studio Dental do an amazing job of making the patient experience completely wonderful. Dr Storey is an amazing dentist. I am so blessed to have Dr. Storey as my dentist. I had some very bad dental experiences in the past which made me horrified of going. But once I came for my first appointment I knew that was all going to change. I have not been blessed with the best teeth (even though I take care of them) but Dr. Storey and her staff have been very kind and comforting during the entire time it has taken to get everything fixed. They aren't pushy and they don't make you feel like a failure when your teeth have issues. Did I mention they have tv's for you to watch during the entire length of your appointment? Every time I come here, I am thankful that I took such horrible care of my teeth growing up. Each visit has been easy, fast and no one here judges based on dental history. Hard to believe, but today's visit was a blast. It was actually fun! Plus, with my new (temporary crown) I feel like I can chew through steel, wood, linoleum, whatever is thrown my way. It's like I I have a Super Hero mouth now. I may go chew on some steel, wood, or find some floor tile just to test my new Super Mouth. Everyone at Studio Dental was great. I chipped an old filling while on vacation and they were able to get me right in on the Friday before the long Memorial Day weekend and they took great care of me. Dr. Berry was very helpful and did a great job on the new filling. The office is very clean and modern, they use a small laptop for the intake paperwork, and everyone is very friendly. I have been a patient of Dr Storey's since we moved from Mn 5 yrs ago. I was hesitant to keep my appointment durning the pandemic because I am in a high risk category. I made my appointment and was seen 10/19. The staff requested that I contact them when I arrived, they contacted me when the hygienist was ready, took my temp & I was escorted to my room. Cassidy was my hygienist. She is amazing! She reduced my level of anxiety by explaining all that the staff is doing to keep patients safe, provided me with education about my dental care & was very kind. I was so so so nervous to go to the dentist- it had been way longer than I cared to admit and I had a tooth that was in pretty bad shape. However, everyone at this practice was amazing. They immediately put me at ease and Dr. Freeman was an absolute angel. She listened to my concerns and never once made me feel bad about how long it had been since I'd seen a dentist. Dr. Storey has been my dentist for several years now --I've been going to her since she was in dental school and have since also taken my teenage kids to see her. I'm even thinking of having her do invisilign on one of them. She is an excellent dentist! She's done several types of procedures on me including basic exams, teeth cleanings, fillings, teeth whitening, and repairing a chip on one of my teeth. I've been pleased with all of it! What I like about her most is that she's very good about telling me what's she's doing and what to expect, step by step. I appreciate this because too many times I've had other dentists/doctors just go about their merry way and I'm not sure whether to expect pain or what to do. Not so with Dr. Storey. She's also good about making sure that she gives me suggestions for taking care of my teeth without making me feel like I'm not doing a good job of it. read more

Studio Dental is an outstanding practice and I highly recommend Dr. Storey. She is an excellent dentist and her entire staff are very friendly and professional. The facility and equipment is new and state of the art. They have flat panel tvs to watch while the work is being done and go out of their way to accommodate their patients. Dr. Storey understood my anxiety about dental work due to a bad experience with another dentist as a kid. The procedure (filling) was stress free. There were no surprises and I could tell that Dr Storey went out of her way to ensure that the nitrous settings were just right and the local anesthetic shot was as painless as can be. I am very critical and can be a pain as a customer/patient. Studio Dental is first class! read more

I cannot believe how helpful these people are....I called for an appt for my 96 yr old friend. he is a WW2 vet and the VA will NOT pay for his teeth although he was in service when the butt of a gun knocked out all his front teeth. the VA at that time, pulled them all and left him. He got married and got denture and a bridge and they are taking him right away as he has had no molars for 2 plus years and been on soft food since. their sympathy to take care of him was great and got him in for an appt right away. You would think since this is service related, the VA would take care of it...NOPE another bad mark for the VA..AGAIN.. more later after we visit, I hope its all we expect this DR to be, so far so good, follow along with the 'Chief', as he is known in Oro Valley.
