I ordered this dress brand new online and didn't take it out of the packaging until I got to the tailor to try it on so I know that this damage happened here. Very unhappy!

Yesterday was the final straw. I had shopped there previously and dealt with an older salesperson…read morenamed Lou. He did everything possible not to use a computer. I went back in yesterday and unfortunately he was the one to " help" me again. I asked him if he could look me up in the counter from a few months ago, and that I just wanted the same suit in a different color. He immediately and rudely snapped back " why would I do that , I know your size already ". He then proceeded to mis size me no less than 4 times which then unleashed a series of events. He walked away in the middle of helping me to help another customer, he passed gas while talking to me ( wish I was joking), he made a fat joke about another customer who was looking at some Hawaiian type button down shirts. Finally when it was time to remember he was helping me, he told me the pants for the suite I wanted after he argued with me about the color being what I asked for , when it was in fact not. The pants weren't in stock and he could not give me a concrete time for receiving them , and I was on a time crunch for getting the suite. I asked him if the pants were in stock at another store somewhere, I could just go there. His comment back was "'why would you do that , if the pants are in Kentucky would you go there to get them " At one point when he walked away from me another sales person tried to help , but had no clue where we left off before he farted and then left to help anther customer in the middle of helping me. So I just had to wait. That was the end for me. I told him I had no tolerance to play games or waste my time , he worked harder to be unhelpful and argumentative than it would have taken to just help me. I ended up walking out of the store which was by far the most convenient option being less than a mile from my home just to drive to another store to give them my business and to help me. It's a shame that someone like this represents the brand , as I will not step foot back in there as a customer ever again. Unprofessional, unwilling to use technology , and unwilling to listen to the customer who was asking for something very specific lost a customer as well as the other family members in the home that will be needing a suit in the future. Honestly he's an older gentleman and I could have gotten past him farting while talking to me if he had actually been even remotely helpful. Thank you to Lou and Jos A. I bought a suit today and noticed that the sales person rang up the suit for the full list price. I asked to have the suit seamed and I would pick it up later in the day. Before going back to pick up the suit I checked online and confirmed the sale price. When I went back to the store I told the sales rep that he failed to give me the sales price and that he needed to credit my card back $150. The sales rep response was that I didn't ask for the sales price!!! I told him that I have been a Josh A Banks customer for more than 20 years and I never had to request the sales price. The sales rep had a chance to be ethical and charge me the correct price but fail. Needless to say I'm disappointed and will think twice before going back or recommending Josh A Banks to anybody.

My daughter's cats had a field day on her coat. It was beyond horrendous. I was embarrassed to bring it in. Yung had to process the coat 3x before he gave it back to me. He is a magician! Support their business, especially in these tough times.

The collars had rings around it and the shirts looked stained overall, so I gave All Island French cleaners a try. To my surprise the shirts looked new. They wash the shirts at the premises and iron it. They do not send it out to be cleaned. It's a little pricy, but I can understand it as they do the work there.

I took it back to Danny's shoe repair (where they were actually altered) and the very knowledgeable man told me that he won't be able to repair the dress, the person who pinned it (shocker) did a horrible job. He can only give me a 1/4 inch on the straps and I need about 2 for this to fit properly. I'm the maid of honor in a wedding party and I don't have enough time to order another dress! I'm screwed! And Jose offers me store credit! You really think I'm ever stepping foot in this store again!?! Absolutely ridiculous. Save yourself the hassle and take you clothes to a place that actually does alterations not a middle man who doesn't know what the heck they are doing! I typically don't review places but this place is ridiculous! My daughter and I went in to have 2 dresses altered. My experience started with a women who was clearly training and did not know how to pin a dress for alterations. Which is fine, everyone has to be taught at some point. She pinned our dresses, I was told the person who makes the alterations only comes in 2x per week and they would call me when they are complete (no one called). After I called to find out they were ready i tried to pick them up. I went there 4 times, each time during what is stated on the door as operating hours and they were closed every time. That's heading to work late, coming home from work early to try make it in while they were open. I called and left a message to which they responded right away and offered to drop them off, I declined and they assured me they would be open today. The women called me back and said Jose is very upset and doesn't want to loose your business... why didn't Jose call then? He must not care enough to pick up the phone to apologize. I went in this morning to pick them up (5th time at the store) the quoted price was 220 they ended up charging just over 300 and I was told that they outsource for alterations!! According to the website they pride themselves on alterations, custom suits etc. they don't even have a tailor or anyone that is trained on taking measurements working there. They aren't open when they say they are and they over charge you. I'm afraid to try this dress on because there is no way I have time to buy another!
