I needed a single process to cover my greys - I have medium brown hair, no highlights. Should be simple enough. Upon getting in the chair, the stylist mentioned she thought my greys looked resistant, I agreed because I know that my color usually has to sit for a while, but she didn't ask me any questions beyond that. Instead, the she spent most of the time suggesting I should get highlights (which is not unusual when discussing how to add more dimension), but this was after I just explained how I stopped getting highlights a few years back because I didn't like how much it damaged my hair. When it was time to process, she put me under heat, which I have never had done before in the past 6 years of getting this service. I thought it was odd at first, but not knowing anything about hair coloring, assumed it was necessary for the type of product they use at this salon. I was under heat for about 10 minutes which felt far too long as my hairline was starting to sting badly. As soon as we started drying, it seemed like my roots were much lighter than normal, but once fully dry the color looked accurate enough. I don't know if it was the lighting in the salon or what, but it wasn't until I got home that I noticed my roots were so hot and brassy! While I blame myself for not looking more closely at the time, I imagine a Level 6 Stylist would have easily noticed this, yet she didn't say anything about it all and acted like my hair color was matched perfectly. Very disappointing that she never asked about heat being necessary previously for my greys and just assumed to use it, knowing heat during a single process is the fastest way to getting hot roots. Giving 2 stars because the rest of the staff was nice and the blow out was good. Sadly I'm now on the hunt for another new salon.

The lobby to the salons are on the first floor while the actual booths are on the second floor. There are stairs and an elevator. There are multiple couches and comfy benches on the second floor so you can wait for your appointment. There are stations for coffee and tea that my stylist told me to take advantage of. There is artwork all over and the color scheme makes it not sterile but not too bright. There is a vending machine onsite but since the location is close to many eateries (chopt is next door) you don't have to worry about access. I had a great time with my stylist Lilian. She came on time. She asked me questions about my desires and goals and gave me recommendations that I can use in my free time. I look forward to using her services in the future.

I left with many broken hairs on my crown that were completely ignored by my stylist and that I had a hard time gelling down once I got home before I was due for photos. Overall not worth the money. The location is clean. It is expensive but I did find the pricing relatively clear as my stylist explained the extra costs along the way.
