Great studio with a wide variety of classes and formats. There truly is something for everyone here and I love that they adapt or show variations if you aren't able to do certain exercises. Staff is attentive and friendly, as well as the instructors! Highly recommend classes by Carla, Andrea, or Wes! Def will be back!

Located in downtown, this studio offers three types of classes currently, Interval (consists of rotating between treadmill, rower, and floor exercise with weights kind of like Barry's but with extra rotation of rowers), 3x3 (mat style HIIT class that rotates through three different exercises that focuses on body parts and mostly using weights), mat heated Pilates, and Hi Def (more heat and cardio compared to 3 by 3). As of last time I went they currently do NOT offer cycling any more (unsure if they will bring it back). The studio itself is gorgeous - glass windows everywhere overlooking downtown Austin. The interval class is a low lights kind of club vibe with music while the 3 x 3 classes are held in glass rooms so very light and airy. For the classes requiring mats they do provide mats and towels and the room has labeled numbers where to put your mat down but know that the spacing is very tight and in a full class you're on top of each other. I have found the instructors to be incredibly friendly and personable and even in a big class they do try to get your name if they can. My favorite so far is Al Cairns and Carla Jian as they focus on form but also go around and check on everyone. Parking wise they offer 90 minute validated parking at 400 San Jacinto Ave but the parking can get full so there is another lot $5 at Littlefield. I never had trouble getting parking for the morning and noon classes, but evening is definitely more difficult. Cost wise I take the classes through Classpass but the cost usually range from $25-35 a class based on package you get. There Black Friday sale is very good and can get it down to $20-$22 a class. Amenity wise they provide showers with nice shampoo/conditioner/body wash and Dyson hair dryers and towels!

Been coming here since 2023 and absolutely adore this studio and the community they have built here! Class formats are accessible for everyone at all fitness levels and instructors are top tier!

Gorgeous studio in the heart of downtown Austin. Of course with it being located downtown that means parking is a hassel - they offer complimentary 90-min parking for class attendees at the 4th/San Jacinto Parking Lot. Parking is available on a first come first serve basis and it is quite small so chances are you will end up using the $5 validation at Littlefield Garage. Don't forget to validate parking at the front desk before you leave. We took a cycling class and really enjoyed how high energy and choreography packed the class was. Their bikes are a little different than other ones I've used in the past (Cyclebar, Love and Ride) but the instructor did a great job walking around before class started helping everyone set up. The locker room is also very nice and well equipped for if you want to shower and get ready for work/school there. If you live downtown and could walk to the studio I would recommend more than if you have to commute in. Overall I can't wait to come back for another class :)

THE BIG: On the corner of E 5th and Brazos St. Underneath the Thompson hotel and across the street from the speakeasy Floppy Disk Repair. Parking is validated for 90 minutes with a $5 prepay. THE BLACK AND WHITE: Beautiful big space with three rooms: Yoga, Interval, and Cycle. I came here with the wife with the S3 intro pack for the Austin opening. 3 classes for $60! We did the interval training with Hans, great workout splitting time between tread, weights and row. Reminded me of Barrys. Then Cycle with Alana. And finally Hot Yoga with Michael. Great workouts with great instructors Locker rooms are nice and clean with towels. I wish they had a hairdryer and some hair gel, but otherwise decent amenities THE FINAL BAMBOO: If you're looking for a good workout with the three flavors, I'd say check this out. Classes are typically $30, the costs can add up!

Overpriced. Rude staff. Classes offer zero guidance or corrective form. Overall, don't waste your time.

If you're planning to do lap swimming after work, for example, it can be very difficult to find a lane because they often schedule classes during that same time. The gym floor also gets very busy in the evenings, although it's generally still manageable. It's nice to have a cafe though, and they have great quesadillas! They also occasionally send out emails about new programs and activities you can sign up for, which is nice, but unfortunately, some of the registration links don't work, and when I've emailed the person sending the updates for more details, I haven't received a response.

There are tons of really nice treadmills, some with a running track that is curved and more rugged like you are running outdoors on a trail. The bikes are great, very updated. I do think the weights machines are outdated and need to be replaced. The TRX area has some classes. They also have several rooms with Pilates reformers, barre classes, as well as yoga, and circuit training. There are fancy stretching machines and massage chairs! Bonus! The sauna and steam room are separate sexes located in the locker rooms for privacy. The showers have good quality hair products and body wash. They even have razors and q-tips as well as cotton wipes. Hair dryers are available too. The pool area is really like a resort it is so nice. Plenty of loungers to relax on and good shade spots. This gym has all the beautiful people haha. Everyone is in like Lulu-lemon and dress to impress. Fun but a little intimidating when you wear old gym closes. They also have pickleball courts and basketball. You can take a pickleball lesson and sign up to play with others when comfortable. Lastly there is a spa and hair salon as well as a food center with high quality ingredients. This place is really really nice. I have never seen a nicer club in my life!

When I could no longer tolerate the big box gyms, the crowds that flock to them and the bad behaviors that have cropped up over time, I finally made the move to this gym. Sure it's smaller, sure it doesn't have daycare, saunas, pools, giant changing rooms but I consider all those things a plus. People who show up here show up to work out not sit at the sauna and pool all day. The price point is higher than most gyms but not unreasonable. You get what you pay for -- mostly in peace and quiet and an overall more courteous gentler crowd. There is a good mix of equipment that can handle a mix of folks who just want fitness, folks who are into bodybuilding and powerlifters. For the most part all three groups exist in peace. Perhaps the general fitness folks may at times be a little intimidated by some of the louder harder workouts of the powerlifters. But this can be mitigated by changing the time you go. I get overstimulated by such noises so I try to avoid those folks if I can. ( I can be a gentle flower lol) Gender balance. This gym has a very healthy gender balance. Luckily this crowd is not there to find suitors, they are there to work out so no fake eyelashes or clown makeup nor guys just dragging their wings along the ground like turkeys in heat. Please respect this dynamic and don't come here to hit on people. Like most gyms the peak time is 5-7 week days except it's mostly Monday to Wednesday that's somewhat busy during rush hour. But nothing like the big box gyms. It's busy but not impossible to get a workout in like other gyms. Folks are not aggressive with each other, they are kind when they approach you for working in etc. I take a long time at some machines people should be upset but there is no upset, only kindness. They are swapping out some of the equipment and its changes for the better -- mind you what's there is already plenty. This is a small gym floor compared to mix chain gyms. The gym in Lincoln village is slightly larger and the new one in round rock will be huge. The hours are great. Parking is plenty however not endless, sometimes you will have to hunt a little. The gym is clean, bathrooms is clean but could be better. I am just being honest. It's just fine. I have been spoiled by Lifetime and EOS. There is a regular crowd that's been there a long time and they sometimes do exert a little bit of ownership and territorial behavior but they are mostly harmless, they could use the challenge of new faces, and they are perfectly able to adapt and accept newcomers. So don't be intimidated. It's all teddy bears in there. The staff also is amazingly friendly and attentive and keep the place sharp and on top shape and help members. I highly recommend you get a week pass and check it out!

Nevertheless, the downtown location is clean, well-staffed, and has all the equipment and classes you could need or want. I've gone at busy, peak hours and still been able to find spots to work out. I like that there are water stations and towels available all throughout the gym, as well as TVs throughout the gym to help you through your workout. When I joined, I was given a complimentary personal training session and an intro session, which was really helpful in learning the layout of the gym and different workout configurations that will work best for my body and fitness goals. I have also had the opportunity to check out a bunch of classes, too, and my favorite by far has been sculpt with Natalie or with Jay. Both are phenomenal instructors, and I swear I have never sweat so much in my life as I do in their sculpt classes! Worth it! The locker rooms are very clean and well-equipped with towels, shampoo/conditioner/lotion, feminine products, hair care technology (blow dryers, flat irons, etc), mouthwash, deodorant, etc. The only thing I will say is that the sauna in the women's locker room is pretty small and only seats 4-5 people. They also keep it at a pretty low heat for a dry sauna (~140-150) for some reason. Nevertheless, it does the job eventually, you just may not have a spot to sit at peak times.
